General information:

Welcome to the themed hotel based on the wine and Regional Vintages of Spain, a product that is inherently part of our Mediterranean culture.

The hotel has two rooms for meetings and events: the Wine Press Room, and the Rioja Room.

Location:

The Three Star Hotel El Prado is located in the centre of Madrid, very close to the “PUERTA DEL SOL”, the ”MAIN SQUARE” and the Congress building, and near to the AVE ATOCHA Train Station.

Area details:

We’re in the ART TRIANGLE, from where you can visit on foot the three most important museums of the city: the PRADO Museum, the THYSSEN-BORNEMISZA Museum and the REINA SOFÍA Museum. From the Literature neighborhood you can wonder around the streets as far as the neighborhood of the Austrians, to the Royal Theatre, Orient Square and the Royal Palace. Near the hotel is the shopping area of PUERTA DEL SOL with its specialists shops (hats, fans, porcelain etc.) and in the area of GRAN VIA, PRECIADOS Street and CARMEN street there are shopping centers, big chains and Spanish brands of international importance.

When visiting the neighborhood you must try the many cafés, taverns and restaurants with the WINE and TAPAS that are typical of Madrid; the place to go is Santa Ana Square or Huertas street.

Madrid has become the third most important city in the world for the number of musical premieres. Every season the shows move the masses with their acting, complementing the cinema premieres and theatres that have always represented GRAN VIA.

Rooms:

The Hotel has seven floors and in each floor the most important wine making brands are represented, grouped together by region.

Given the importance and recognition of the Rioja region, we have themed the reading room on the most international of the Spanish Regional Vintages. Each room is personalized and the decoration incorporates the information, characteristics and photographs of each of the wine making marks of origin that are represented.
