Gran Castillo Tagoro Family & Fun Playa Blanca has a magnificent beachfront location in Playa Blanca, one of Lanzarote's most popular resorts. Boasting impressive views of Playa Papagayo beach, the ocean and the neighbouring Canary Islands, this luxurious property's design is reminiscent of an ancient castle, and was inspired by the island's famous Castillo de San Jose. The hotel itself is divided into distinctive areas, with influences taken from the Mediterranean and North Africa.

Rooms

All of the property's well-appointed and spacious rooms are decorated in fresh wood tones and soft colours, combined with marine touches to create a light and refreshing atmosphere. Each room includes a bathroom with hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, safe (free to use), a mini fridge/minibar and a balcony or terrace with ocean or country views. Family Premium Rooms are also available.

Food & Drink

In addition to the friendly main restaurant, Las Coloradas, there's a lobby bar, a pool snack bar and a disco, serving an array of refreshing cocktail mixers and your favourite beverages.

The hotel's All Inclusive programme includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, all served buffet-style in the main restaurant Las Coloradas. Beer, wine and soft drinks are included during meals. Food and drink after 23:00, and the in-room minibar are additional charges.

Sports & Entertainment

With a whopping 11 swimming pools, plus sun terraces and cosy loungers, you’re sorted whether you want sizzling sunshine or a chill in the shade. The spa is top-tier, with a seawater Jacuzzi, sauna, Roman bath, treatments. Feeling active? You’ll find a gym, multi-sports court, and archery.

Entertainment is mega here — from the Kids Club, little ones can climb, create, and explore—from a giant pirate ship and interactive play zones to a colourful arts and crafts corner full of imagination. Kiddos can make a splash in the Dragon Pool with slides, the Family Pool, or the brand-new Splash Park coming November 2025 (scorchio fun incoming).

Oh, and here’s a handy tip: if you’re staying in the Real Adventure Area, you can also use all the Castillo Area’s pools, restaurants, and other facilities (except the swanky Gold Level ones). But if you’re staying in the Castillo Area and fancy checking out the Real Adventure Area — with its splash park, kids’ fun zone, and family vibe — you’ll need to grab a day pass. Totally worth it if the little ones need to let off some steam.

• La Ricotta Restaurant: An Italian à la carte restaurant serving traditional dishes in the Castillo Area. Will be available to all guests at an extra cost.

• Oishii Restaurant: A vibrant Asian à la carte dining experience with market-style cuisine, also located in the Castillo Area, will be available at an additional charge.

• Isla de Lobos Beach Club: A fresh and fun lunch spot replacing Cascada Snack Bar. Charges apply. Will offer a relaxed beachfront vibe with a modern menu.

• Timanfaya Buffet Restaurant: Exclusive to Gold Level guests, this renamed venue will offer à la carte breakfast and gourmet-style dinner with show cooking in a tranquil setting.

• Bar Isla Mágica: A brand-new family bar near the playground in the Real Adventure zone, designed to become an evening hotspot with entertainment and drinks.

• Brand spanking new Deluxe Superior Rooms, Deluxe Superior Ocean View Rooms and Gold Level Rooms that come with extra goodies.

• Real Adventure Zone, Castleland Club, and Castle Zone - each area offering premium facilities.
