Well well location is far from good. In the middle of this really tacky surroundings with old big sad hotels. Its said two km from the atlantic sea, could not be true... To the good stuff, the beds are comfy, some of the foods are pretty nice, the training is good, the rooms are really clean. Breakfast is accepteble. The staff is "proud" read not service minded at all. Strange rules for where to sit etc

This hotel is located a bit away from the central city and the beach. A rental car is not a bad thing. Great parking outside and you can choose when to leave for the beach instead of waiting for the bus. Nice hotel but the middle age of the guests are about +60. All very early up to book the best located sunbeds. Really great breakfast but lunch and dinner just about ok. Nice and helpfull staff. Clean and tidy. Next time Meloneras will be the place to stay. I recommend a visit. All in all a three star for this hotel. We have stayed at better sunprime hotels than this.

We had booked through Spies in Denmark and we were lucky to fly with one of Thomas Cooks new planes which was a pleasure. We arrived around noon and were made very welcome by a swedish speaking receptionist who quickly had us booked in and all inclusive tagged, our room was on the 3rd floor and our impression was good when we opened the door, a specious room with everything needed for a holiday stay, including a ironing board and iron which you don't see often at a holiday hotel. bath robes and slippers, pool towels and a complementary bottle of wine, the safety deposite box was also free of charge. It was lunch time so we went down for our first meal, the dinning room is spaceous and the food in the buffet attractively presented. We enjoyed all our meals there was a theme for every evening, italian, asia, mexican etc. the food was well cooked though sometimes a bit bland, they also haf great difficulty keeping it warm which was a shame and as the food was then far less enjoyable. Being winter there was not a great variety of fresh fruit and veg. therefore tinned fruit and vegetales were used as a supplement. There was not a great number of choices but we prefer this instead of mountains of everything seen some times in all inclusive hotel. The wine and beer available free of charge were very pleasant and modern coffee vending machines gave a good variey of well tasting brews. The staff of the restaurant were very freindly and service minded and very effective without seeming rushed. So all in it it was a good all inclusive experience, and we did not have any stomach problems all week. The pool and gardens of the hotel are well kept and relatively spaceous, there were 3 different pools all well heated so. It was no problem getting in even on the days when the ouside temperature was 18 deg c or less, the pools were very clean and the gardens well kept, there are loads of sun beds, and we could find room most days without problem even though guests were leavings towels on some of them all day to reserve them. The pools were seldomly used being a adult only hotel and therefore we quite often had them to ourselves There was a relatively well equipped gym and workout room which again was seldomly used, there were yoga and water aerobics most days although we did not participate. There was no pool bare but coffee, drinks and snacks were available all day. from the litlle mini market, that was well stocked if needed. Our room was cleaned evey day and the bed linnen changed once, towels were replaced when you wanted and the standard of cleaning was in generel very high. Next to the restaurant there was a large bar and lounge area with comforatble seating, pool table and musik stage and dance floor. The bar opened at 5 pm and was well stocked and the majority of drinks and cocktails were free of charge and very pleasent. There was live musik each evening, probably most apreciated by the older generation but the whole expeerience was very comfortable and enjoyable. The atmosphere at the hotel is very low key and relaxed and quiet so you easily transfer into holiday mode and sleep well in the tranquility and very comfortable beds. The area where the hotel is situated is not particulary attractive mostly hotels and holiday bungalows with only a few restaurants that were not very attactive. To walk down to the promenade and beach takes about 30 minutes otherwise there is a free bus that runs a few times in the morning and back in the afternoon. The beach area is heavily developed and a little bit tatty but we found a good cafe where we enjoyed our morning coffee and fresh pressed orange juice. The beach at Playa de Ingles is wonderful to walk on, and that is what everyone does back and forth up to the sand dunes, there are alot of parasols and sun beds crammed together to rent, but if you want solitude this is not the place to go. We would thorough recommend the Sunprime Atlantic View for a winter holiday, the weather was wonderful all week in the beginning of march up to 28 deg c, although it is windy especially in the afternoon. We feel the hotel lives well up to its 4 star rating with a improvement to the food served it would be close to 5. We will certainly happily spend a winter holdiay there again.

We stayed at this hotel for a week, and absolutely loved it. The hotel has all the main essentials, with a spa and nice pool areas. There are plenty chairs around the pool, and if you have the all-inclusive package, you are going to be positively surprised by the nice buffet. It changes every day, with different themes every night, and the staff if friendly and competent. I can really recommend this place, as the rooms are nice, light and clean too, with big terraces. The only downside is the location. Playa Del Ingles is really "touristy", with an awfully ugly downtown area, exemplifying some of the gruesome consistency (or lack of same!) spanish architecture has to show. If only this hotel was located in Puerto Rico or Arguineguin. Get a rental car an go see the other cities in the southern area.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
