Just returned from salou park this morning after 10 nights all inclusive. We had 2 double rooms 2 adults 1 child and other room 2 adults .The rooms are lovely always clean and tidy maid in every day also if you go all inclusive you get free fridge also pay for sea view well worth it housekeeping do some work always busy and very friendly also reception staff very friendly and welcoming. Food is served 8am to 9.30pm if all inclusive. Snacks in between lunch. Restaurant staff sometimes not very happy looking chefs and that are good just some of the waitress unhappy. Food is ok nothing great a few different choices eatch night breakfast could be wee bit warmer and better sausages instead of tiny wee hot dogs .We went to uncle sams a few times down the road for food as it's amazing and really cheap and warm food worth a try just next to burgerking. Bar staff in hotel are amazing they would bend over backwards for you really helpful and can get a good laugh with them They are really good with the kids also the waiter Robinson he is great with the kids and does good shift as also all the staff work hard for and make you're really enjoy the hotel and you're stay that's our 2nd year in a row and will be back next year. The shows they put on in hotel on stage outside at pool are great for adults and kids start at 9pm until 11.30pm best show is the African show what a show they put on for the guests. My partner and I have just returned from a 12 day holiday to Salou. We actually stayed at the Playa Margareta Hotel which is the sister hotel to Salou Park. However we spent all our time in this hotel and had all our meals here as we were all inclusive. The hotel is very clean and the staff we very helpful and nice. There was different entertainment every night and it was to a very good standard and very enjoyable. The food was ok most of the time. We found that as the hotel got busier the food got better. Breakfast was the worse meal as the majority of the food was cold, however lunch and dinner good. The bar staff were great and would nearly always bring your drinks to you. We were surprised that the cocktails and ice cream were included in the all inclusive. This is a first for us but it was a pleasant surprise. The wifi didnt seem to work very well whilst we stayed but that didnt really bother us. The only real downside to the hotel was the amount of russians that were staying there. They practically invaded the place and they were so rude to the staff and other none russian guests. Other than that they hotel was pretty much spot on and I would recommend it and also stay there again myself. The beach and local shops etc are only 5 minute walk away. The Port Aventura Theme and water park is only 10 minutes away costing 8 euros in a taxi. Aquapolis water park was only 15 minutes away costing 10 euros in a taxi. There is plenty of bars and restaurants close by with a couple of nightclubs. We stayed in June 2015

Came here to unwind for my partners birthday. We knew we liked the location and facilities available here due to staying at Margarita in previous years. The breakfast was enjoyable and we always made the most of it. The view was fantastic from our room. If you fancy something different from a sea view ask for a room on a higher level but facing the town. You can see all the rides going round at the theme park and the mountains too. The bar was reasonably priced and the pool area was quiet which was nice to relax by. One small downside was the room was right next to the lift and having to pay for use of the mini fridge in the room. Will come again in the future

We came back today from this hotel and can not fault the hotel in any shape or form. The rooms were very clean as was all the hotel. The swimming pools were also very nice and once again spotless. The pool bar was very nice and got to say the food there was lovely but only served burgers and chips but they was very attentive and brought all your food and drinks over to you would go out of their way. (but the hotel was very quiet). When we arrived the one girl on the desk was very rude to us in which I was glad I never seen her again on the desk the duration of our holiday!! On booking I asked for a room with a balcony but when we arrived on their paper work was a room without a balcony so upgraded to a room with a balcony. We was very tired and all we wanted to do was sleep on waking up having a look out of the balcony we was very high and I am scared of heights so we asked could we be moved in which they did to a room with No view at all oh a brick wall basically and yet all the other rooms along that corridor was not taken. Not one to complain so we just stuck it out..... The food in the main restaurant was awful. My partner was ill for 3 days he ate some pork could taste it was gone off but did not want to spit it out so swallowed it.. upon smelling it could tell it was gone off. There is not alot of choice of food and unless you like meat covered in garlic and sea food there is not really much other choice. We went all inclusive but was a little pointless as we did not really eat in the hotel and the drinks were not the best either. We love salou and will be going back in the next few months but wont go all inclusive again. Would stay in this hotel again but just for the room and the room only ....
Despite the number of sunny days that Salou basks in year round, the temperatures are not as intense as other destinations such as the Costa del Sol, with temperatures routinely ranging from between 20° Celsius and 26° Celsius from May until late August. The cooling breeze from the Mediterranean takes the edge off the worst of the humidity – perfect for working on that tan!
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
