We stayed here for 8 nights. Room we got was lovely, nice and clean with an excellent view of the sea! However the air con was terrible making it difficult to get a decent sleep because it was so hot and clammy. The food wasn't nice, i think there was 1 night it was okay but most days breakfast, lunch and dinner was very basic and a lot of the time bland, no flavour to it. Some of the food looked like it was scraps from the day before thrown together, a lot of the food didn't have labels and looked like mush so you could not tell what it was, the eggs always had a sour taste as well as if they were off. We ate out a good few times which was better. The staff in the restaurant also really struggled to understand english so we had to repeat ourselves constantly when ordering drinks which can't be helped but then the staff would give us funny looks or look at us in a moody way which i thought was quite rude, they never seemed to have a smile on their face and it came across a lot of the time like customers were just a nuisance to them! If you are staying here and like your food i wouldn't go all inclusive or full board, i would eat out instead as there are lots of great restaurants near by. The cocktails were quite good i must admit and the entertainment at the hotel was actually quite good, really got the crowd going most nights. They had a brazil show, acrobatics and dancers amongst others which was good. I will say though if they ever have a 'carbaret' show on by their entertainment team AVOID like the plague :)) i have never witnessed anything so bad in my life, terrible acting and dancing and the story lines in it were horrendous didnt make sense at all it was just awful! The pool at the front with the rocks was lovely and clean too. The only bad thing, SUNBEDS! If you arent down there for 9am (where there is a queue of vultures waiting to run out and grab a bed) then you wont get one until around 5pm. The worst bit is when we did have sunbeds, i noticed beds with towels on them but no one on them for hours and hours at a time! I think staff should be watching this because it isnt fair people put their towels on beds to keep them but dont bother using them because for example, they have went out for the day but want a bed to come back to late afternoon? I think staff need to watch this and if no one has been near them for 2 hours max they should remove the towels! All in the hotel was okay very average, clean rooms, food horrible, cocktails okay, busy pool and lack of sunbeds, rude staff, good entertainment. It states it is a 4 star but i don't think it merits 4 stars as i have been to better 3 stars in salou. But the hotel was alright i would say it is more 3 stars :)

2 adults. 2 senior citizens. This is not a 4 star hotel - so disappointed. Small pool and sunbathing area. People queueing and literally running to get a sunbed. Approx 6 parasols available for the entire hotel Doors to the poolside are locked until 09.00hrs? Only 2 lifts to accommodate everybody. Entertainment at night was mainly delivered by the entertainments daytime staff - embarrassing!!!!The only positive things were the rooms were decent and clean, food was fine offering a wide variety . Approx 50 steps down to the beach which is over the road. The hotel is situated on a corner plot on a steep gradient. Not good for my older parents. Very basic, not even a little shop for a newspaper, found one down the next street. Portaventura - book in advance , took us 2 hours to get in to purchase tickets at the gate. Had to pay extra for a safe and fridge. It rained for 6 days of our 10 day holiday, there was nothing to do!!! Not a nice holiday, I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.
