I came with a friend for her 18th birthday all inclusive for week in September. I was older being 19 at the time. It is a great hotel for everyone. During the day we wasn't in the hotel much as there is so much to do a close by. The evening entertainment was great and there W's a wide variety during the week. The holiday reps nd other staff members were really friendly and helped make the experience enjoyable. The room was nice and there was no night noise. The food was nice with a variety every night. Would go back.

Stayed in Oct 14 for 1 week with my partner as a last minute holiday, both in our mid twenties. The food was good with plenty of choice and cocktails/drinks in the all inclusive were great. Yes the hotel could get quite noisy, as it caters for a lot of young children but the adult only roof terrace was a lovely space with its own bar and 2 jacuzzi's (although only 1 open at end of season) for relaxing in the relative peace and quiet. The hotel is situated about a 10 minute walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The nightlife appeared to be at the other end of Salou which took about a half hour to walk to although this may have just been because we visited in Oct when everything was about to shut down for the end of season. The beds were not great, very creaky and could be done with upgrading. Overall the staff try very hard, the rooms and facilities were kept clean and we enjoyed our time at the Villa Marina. A lot of the reviews for this hotel seem a bit unfair, it is a 3 star family hotel, not a 5 star luxury resort. For the price you pay, it's good value for money and if you have young children they would have a blast as the entertainment for them was fantastic.

I visited this place for 2 weeks staff were all very friendly, food was ok. Everything in this hotel was small pools and pool area lack of space so lack of sun lounges, we went as 2 adults and a 13 year old, thomas Cook advised us this hotel had great entertainment to suite all, but we found it was more for 5 year olds, don't get me wrong staff work really hard to make people happy, this holiday cost us 3 thousand pound then on top of that we bought passes for portaventura/water park, because this hotel was so small and in high season not much space to move we also spent 2 thousand pound while there as we had to keep going out !! Not quite what we expected to spend being all inclusive !!

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and any problems were sorted quickly. Always something going on if you wanted to participate. Lots for Kids. Food generally adequate for all tastes. This was our first all inclusive experience and we liked it. The rooms were very basic and beds not the best but for a week stay you can make do. Generally this hotel caters for families and our party of 10 adults made good use of the adult rooftop bar and sun terrance and with the Barman Winston it made our holiday special. The only downside was that the jacuzzi on the rooftop could have been cooler.
Despite the number of sunny days that Salou basks in year round, the temperatures are not as intense as other destinations such as the Costa del Sol, with temperatures routinely ranging from between 20° Celsius and 26° Celsius from May until late August. The cooling breeze from the Mediterranean takes the edge off the worst of the humidity – perfect for working on that tan!
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
