First thing we received was very rude dar staff within the first hour. Husband poorly( sickness and dhioarhea the entire week except 1 day when he didn't eat or drink at the hotel, wasn't just him another couple we met there were the same. Entrertainment total rubbish, food appealing. Never go again what a waste of a week and money. Also if the Spanish turn up as they did the British are the lowest of the low awful feeling.

Wanted a cheap all inclusive week away and this holiday popped up, we are a small family and the room was a good size for us (2adults, 1 child) and cleaned everyday. Staff at reception were pleasant, and the entertainment staff and bar staff were really great (especially the children's entertainer). However, the food was just not great, we ate chips and cheese pretty much as the food looked and tasted awful and we had to eat outside the hotel, so now seemed pointless going all inclusive. Another thing to point out is the walls are extremely thin, arguments were heard every night, also rowdy between 1am and 6am, so prepare for a bad nights sleep if your a light sleeper. We wouldn't stay again, I don't need to hear people arguing/fighting/having sex as if they are stood in the room when I had a 4 year old.

How people can give this place positive reviews beggars belief. Where to start. The room was dirty when we arrived, we had to clean the toilet ourselves as there was urine & hairs all over it, the tv (not that I watch TV on holidays) was caked in dust, fag ends all over the balcony. The food was cold, bland and tasteless, the childrens entertainment was a joke, it was the same every single night. The adults entertainment was terrible. Next is the pool area. The area around it is really uneven and needs relaying as it's starting to break up, the loungers are uncomfortable and dirty and the little tables to put your drinks on looks like they haven't had a wipe down for months. The toilets by the bar never had and soap in them when washing your hands and stank. The plastic tumblers supplied for the all inclusive drinks were so small you were permanently at the bar getting top ups. Generally this is a poorly run and poorly maintained hotel. I know it's only 3 star so didn't expect the Ritz, but there is no excuse for lack of hygiene. Don't waste your money people. The only positive I have to say is the staff were very friendly. I will NEVER set foot in that place again.

My friend and I recently finished university and wanted a cheap get away just to have a break. After reading other reviews and reviewing what we had spent on the holiday we were cautious as to what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. We stayed for four nights in room 509 (see picture for the view), it was clean, basic and functional. The balcony we had was huge and it contained two sun loungers, two chairs and a table which was a surprise. The pool was lovely if not a little cold and having an 18+ roof terrace with jacuzzis is a nice little get away from the loudness of the main pool, plus the views up there are stunning. I have to mention the staff, in particular Daniel who worked on the bar and Roverto who was the entertainer. Both of these men were always smiling, charming and very polite! There was one miserable barman but we just looked past him most of the time. Some general negatives; The food was limited, but we always found something to eat. All inclusive is limited unless you upgrade to gold. It didn't bother us, but be wary. The walls are thin and we heard numerous drunken arguments in the early am even through earplugs, typical English ruining it for others but that's the people, not the hotel. Just be aware not everyone is considerate. Overall, for the price we paid, we couldn't really complain.
Despite the number of sunny days that Salou basks in year round, the temperatures are not as intense as other destinations such as the Costa del Sol, with temperatures routinely ranging from between 20° Celsius and 26° Celsius from May until late August. The cooling breeze from the Mediterranean takes the edge off the worst of the humidity – perfect for working on that tan!
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
