Returned from 7 night AI only yesterday ... It was awful ... First night one of the staff members was throwing sun beds about because he was asked to put them away shouting and swearing in Spanish the manager had to attend .... Room was awful 4 beds put together which were rock hard ... Asked for a safe €28 +€10 deposit and they had no key for us as the previous guest had took it home !! AI credit card style cards only allowed 2 drinks each in little plastic glasses that were rough around the edges ....The food was discusting same thing all the time, looked and tasted of shoe leather so NEVER ate in there after 1st night this hotel is the pits ... I read the reviews before I went but was happy going as not everyone thinks the same wished I had taken notice now! This hotel needs a total refurb the back door to the pool was tied back with the safety ring for the swimming pool and the woman lifeguard laying on a sun bed smoking and texting on her phone !! Would never go back to this so called hotel ever again ... But the surrounding areas are great .. Thank god for Route 66 for breakfast !!!!!!!

The hotel was brilliant, We stayed for a week. The room was basic but very clean and our towels and beds were changed every day and the cleaner even added little touches like placing the cuddly toys on each bed. The hotel staff were absolutely brilliant and so friendly especially Elena, Natalie and Margaret in the restaurant. Sandra in the foyer is a gem of a woman and gave us very valuable advice. The bar staff and entertainers were excellent as well. I was a bit dubious about the hotel having read some of the reviews but need not have worried. The restaurant had a brilliant selection of food and on the theme nights it was brilliant and very tasty. The staff on the front desk were brilliant as well and always greeted you with a big smile. The walls between the rooms are a bit thin but that seems to be the norm in Spain. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would go back again tomorrow if we could.

Stayed here for a week in July 2015. Had a standard room; two single beds, one wardrobe with safe (extra charge), one chair, one dressing table with mirror, air con, bathroom with bath & over bath shower, balcony with two chairs, cleaned daily and fresh towels provided daily. Rooms were average size and spread over 4 floors. We stayed all inclusive basis, on arrival we were provided with a credit card style card and were required to have photo taken for this. We had to show this card when ordering drinks and when entering the dining room for meals. The soft drinks at the bar and dining room were not branded but tasted ok, and the meals were ok for a 3* hotel but very repetitive; salad, chips, meat and fish, all tasted ok but very bland, filled a hole I suppose. Swimming pool was clean and plenty sun beds but does not open till 10am, bar is inside the hotel, there are also 3 jacuzzis on the 4th and 5th floors for over 18's only and also a bar on the rooftop too, but difficult to get a go in the jacuzzis as they're very popular. Evening entertainment is ok too, kids disco, bingo, singers, parrot show etc. they are trying to please their customers. Daily entertainment is ok; darts, water polo, play gun shooting etc. not too pushy to involve everyone either, if you say no they leave you alone. Handy location in Cap Salou, next to a supermarket and a 15minute walk to beach. 20min walk to La PIneda beach and sea front shops. Very handy for the bus stop which you can get bus to Salou, Tarragona, Cambrills, Barcelona etc. Also a Bus Plana box next to bus stop so you can always ask which bus to catch and top up your bus card for the journeys. Did I have a good holiday, yes. Would I go back to this hotel, yes for the right price,

We have just arrived back this morning from Htop Molinos park. We are a young family of 4 with 2 & 5 year old girls. We had a good holiday here overall. The major thing to stress is .......it is a 3 star hotel & your not gonna get champagne on lemonade prices. There are a lot of pros for this hotel- it is very clean, the bar/restaurant staff are so friendly & great with kids, the location in Cap Salou is fab with 2 amazing beaches within 5 minute walk, pool is nice & stress free as there was always plenty of sun beds. Now for the cons........the food is average & sooooo repetitive (we are a very un-fussy family & struggled a little towards the end of our 7night holiday a lot of chip sandwiches were had!!!!!!!!!!!), you are only allowed 2 drinks per person at the bar (so for example you will go to the bar whilst your other half sorts the kids dinners & only be able to get 2drinks for the kids then have to que again to get you & hubbies drinks!!!! Very time consuming as the que's are usually pretty long), yes the walls are pretty thin & if you get the wrong kind of neighbours could be problematic, there is no kids club as advertised! Arts & crafts at 10.30am for half an hour, the mini disco is at 9pm at night!!!!!! Very late for young children & only half an hour long. This is pretty much the measure of the hotel. We had a good holiday & would return if we got a fantastic deal like we did this year. Hope this helps....happy booking. :-)
