I first visited Spain and chose Benidorm Hotel Tropic Relax I start by saying that Benidorm is aa superb, very tall buildings, beautiful beach I visited Terra Natura and Aqualandia, I recommend both, was superb, and our children's joy The hotel is a 3 star hotel, very friendly staff, even if they do not speak English very well do everything possible to help Clean rooms, we were with two children I was staying in room with bunk bed, plasma TV, large balcony, daily cleaning is done, large bathroom with tub The hotel has a swimming pool, but can also use the pool at Hotel Alone is right across, which has a slide for children, small pool for children and adults, enough sunbeds. Meals on full board includes 3 meals a Swedish buffet. Breakfast includes eggs, sausage, cereal, coffee, juice, water, fruit, ice cream, salads. Lunch and dinner: cream soups, fries, traditional dishes, fruits, ice cream, desserts. I note that drinks are not included any table than at breakfast, otherwise you can buy from the bar, water is 1.20 to 0.50 euro, wine, juice, if you buy a bottle of wine and not you eat at a table goes back to the bar where I kept cool and you can ask at the next meal. The beach is about 5 minutes walk Every day the pool is animation, gymnastics, water polo, football (the hotel has a football field) Evening children's disco, dance lessons, magic shows, clowns. New I liked very much and I recommend this hotel is a good quality-price

I have to say I would stay in this hotel again. It is clean and friendly. The pool is not huge but still very nice. We enjoyed lounging around there in the day. There is a lovely seating area over looking the pool. It was very nice to sit there in the day to have half an hour out of the sun. The room was clean and the beds were very comfy. Very quite at night, other than the odd group coming back in the early hours. We are in Benidorm though. You can use the hotel Alone facilities but to be honest we were quite happy with what we got at the Tropic. The breakfast was ok., plenty to choice from. There was bacon and eggs on every morning. Problem for me was the bacon wasn't cooked enough. The cereal was also soft. Jam was very runny. The cup of tea was nice though. The hotel is situated in the old town of Benidorm so it cost us 17 euros to get into Benidorm new town in a taxi. There is a nice bar just around the corner from the hotel that does nice food and are very friendly. We eat at Bar Sol in the cove down by the beach area, both breakfast and tea and both were very nice. We also ate at the restaurant on the corner called Puig campana which was gorgeous. Would recommend.

We found this hotel to be average. The main problems were the fact that none of the staff spoke English and this made communication rather difficult. Also, the selection of food was good but would be better if more popular foods such as chips (french fries) were available all the time. I would reccomend this hotel for older couples as the entertainment was weak and the hotel was not very lively. On the positive side, this hotel was very good value for money and the rooms were maintained to a high standard. It would be worth knowing that this hotel is based in "Old Benidorm" in contrast to "New Benidorm" which is closer to the beach and shops. Although the bus journey is only 15 minutes and costs €1.50, it was a bit hassle for us as we travelled in every day.

if your looking to go to a quieter part of Benidorm then stay here hotel staff very friendly and hotel is immaculately clean with rooms also cleaned everyday with wifi througout the hotel. I only gave it 4 out of 5 as it is a Spanish hotel with all entertainment etc based on Spanish visitors just down the road is a beautiful quiet beach with parks if you want to take the kids also an English pub that does a good breakfast with drink for 3.80euro. if you want to go to the main part of Benidorm you can get the number 2 or 3 bus on the next road from the hotel for 1.50euro we caught the bus to new town in an evening and got a taxi back after our nights out for around 10euro all in all if you want a quiet relaxing holiday with easy access to the main strip then I would definitely recommend staying here
Having fun in the sun is the image that Benidorm holidays conjure up - and it's certainly no myth! From summer temperatures hovering near 40° Celsius to generous January averages of around 13° Celsius, permanently clear skies mean you should pack your sunblock whenever you're coming, and hit those golden beaches!
