Stayed 19th-26th February and I have to say this is a great hotel in every way! From location close to the town to the decor and staff. We had a room on the fourth floor overlooking the pool on the third floor with a panoramic view of Albufiera. Most lunches were eaten in the cafe at the lower entrance- the food and service was excellent. The food in the restaurant was also very good with a good choice each night-also some meats were cooked to order at the counter. Local wine at 12euro Val de Nora is excellent! The scale of the dining room was very pleasant as the hotel is a reasonable size. Being half board we decided to eat out only one night and several lunches at Restaurant 54 close to the hotel-it was superb and I would strongly recommend it. It is on 2 levels overlooking the sea with internal and external eating areas.(could be cool outside in the evenings) In summary a seaview room is essential-it is possible to hear sea even with the door closed(lovely!) The design of the hotel is very modern with colourful finishes and the staff were great. The location is beside/within the old town with the front pedestrian street leading to the harbour We are already planning to return later in the year!!!

First time here. Very impressed with general standard of hotel. Worth upgrading to a sea view room, but do it here as it's cheaper. Great location in Old Town. Service is good, drink prices very reasonable. Breakfast is usual part English/part continental, neither that nor the one evening meal we had was very memorable. Overall would recommend if you can get it a good price as we did,

Staff were lovely and friendly, many guests were returned customers. Rocamar is spotless and lovely inside. Room was very nice, good size and balcony facing the sea. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Amazing pool overlooking the sea which was my personal favourite. The hotel is ideally situated for the old town where there is plenty to eat and drink. We booked our transfer with yellowfish taxis as it was recommended by a friend. Very good service and puntual, that's the most important for us. We will certainly return to the Rocamar on our next visit.

Great location for old town and smashing views. Room was very nicely furnished and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The cleaners/maids are very friendly and always say hello. Breakfast is varied with hot and cold choices. The pool area and sun lounge area was small but nice. Only 5 minute walking to the beach and old town. Private airport transfers booked with yyellowfishtranfers. Excellent service provided and very nice drivers. Recommended. Will definitely go back again!
It may be cold, wet and grey in the UK, but the weather on Albufeira holidays couldn’t be more different. Summers are hot and dry and last right through until October, while winters are much milder than British ones. With so many great beaches around the area and great sunshine, your Albufeira holidays will be packed full of great memories.
