Having been a little apprehensive about booking a larger, all inclusive hotel than our normal villa holiday (I like a bit privacy and amenities straight to hand), I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The hotel was busy but didn't feel crowded anywhere due to its spacious communal areas - pools, dining areas, play ground etc. Facilities where fantastic; competitions during the day, ping pong, 2 pools, play ground, tennis courts etc. Evening childrens entertainment was brilliant and didn't run on too late (if you need an early night). Accommodation was beyond expectation, large living room, bathroom, bedroom and balcony overlooking the pool was a pleasure to sit on in the evening reminiscing. Food was 1st class, spoiled for choice! Cereals, full English, fresh fruit, pancakes, etc for breakfast. Dinner and tea time was awesome, different fresh fish and meats daily accompanied with pasta, rice, chips etc and deserts, if you could fit one in were delightfully delicious. All the staff were super friendly and made you feel at ease, nothing was a problem for them from helping book day trips and car hire to just showing you to your table, 1st class service. An added bonus was the hotel was 10-15 min walk to a couple of wonderful beaches, the coastline is truly breathtaking. We went as a group of 4 adults, 2 5yr Olds and a 3 year old and we all truly had the times of our lives and would happily book this accommodation again and recommend to any family looking for a relaxing or fun filled holiday

As I type, I'm sitting by the pool at Clube Humbria. We are five days into our week long stay and we have had the best experience here. Our flight was 2 hrs delayed (thanks Ryanair) and we were exhausted when we arrived at 1am. We were greeted with smiles by reception and led through to the restaurant where some buffet food was waiting for us. After a bite to eat they gave us a litre of water for our room. The rooms are great sizes (we are in Block D, second floor). Very quiet, very clean and modern with two balconies. There's nothing I can criticise about this place. The pools are great, there are enough sun loungers for everyone and the staff can't do enough to help. The biggest compliment goes first to the restaurant - the food is AMAZING! Superb quality, lots of variety and freshly cooked. You can't go wrong here; there's breakfast, a snack bar, lunch and dinner service. They ask everyone to wear clothes and shoes to eat (no swimwear or bare chests) which is a great idea as eating has a sense of formality, as it should. The bar has a wide variety of drinks with some branded spirits and some local. For example the gin is Gordon's. They also have alcoholic slush puppies which are lethal! Last but not least? The fantastic entertainment crew. I have no idea how they do it but Ruben, William and team keep both kids and adults entertained throughout the day and into the night. Just the right level, not in your face, and so genuine, warm and happy. They are an asset to the resort. Thank you for our great holiday Clube Humbria. We will be sad to leave!

This was the first holiday we have taken whilst restricted to the school holidays. This was by far the best deal we found for a family friendly all inclusive holiday. I wanted to put a review on here to counter balance all the negative ones as we were almost put off by them! The hotel and staff are brilliant and I really cannot fault the food - there was always a large selection of fish, meat and fresh veg and salad as well as always having a pasta and child friendly dishes such as fish fingers. The puddings are also great, always with fresh fruit available. The hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious and modern. Although they describe the rooms as apartments there was no kettle, cups or anything, not needed really if you choose all inclusive. Bottled water was always available at reception. Be warned - the pools are NOT heated and are at times freezing cold and quite unpleasant! This was a good option for us, it took us a while to get used to how busy it was due to school holidays though. There weren't many English families there at the same time as us, mainly Portugese and French. This is not a hotel I would recommend to couples or anyone looking for a quiet time - it cannot be described as that! The area the hotel is in is nice and relatively quiet with a few shops and restaurants in walking distance. The beach is a good 15 minute walk. We visited Albufeira Old Town, which in comparison was very busy and full of tourist type shops. A trip to Zoomarine is an absolute must - it's brilliant and reception staff will book this for you. I would recommend this hotel for a great value family holiday.

Just returned from 10 days here with a 3 & 5 year old. Excellent food, hard working & friendly staff. Everything's very clean and tidy. 2 minor faults, pool is pretty chilly early in the day as it's not heated, usually by the end of the day it's much better.secondly, our room was in B block overlooking the park.all you could hear was that squeaky swing. I was even tempted to oil it myself as after 10 days it got on our nerves. Like I said minor faults and it certainly wouldn't put me off returning or recommending this hotel.
