Location

St Julian's is basically Malta's party central, and the VOCO plonks you right in the middle of the action. Casino Malta is next door (we're talking 10 metres — you could practically roll out of bed and onto the roulette table), and the Eden Entertainment Centre with its cinema and bowling is just as close. The Museum of Illusions and the Odyssey Malta Flying Theatre are a couple of minutes' walk.

Fancy a dip? St George's Bay Beach is 130 metres away, with water sports and diving on offer from local outfits right there on the sand. Sliema's gorgeous seafront promenade is 3 km south, and Valletta's stunning historic streets are a quick bus ride away (stop's 130 m from the hotel — easy).

All 168 rooms are box-fresh and properly smart — think modern design, quality finishes, and the kind of soundproofing that means you won't hear Paceville kicking off at 2am (proper handy, that). The hotel has two restaurants and operates on a Half Board basis (breakfast and dinner included).

Lumi Restaurant — The main restaurant, open year-round. Serves California-inspired à la carte cuisine with views over St George's Bay.
