Sports & Entertainment
St Julians Bay Hotel is directly situated along Main Street which the popular Sea Front promenade is adjoining Sliema and the popular Paceville district, which has over the years developed into one of the Island’s most popular nightlife and entertainment spots. St Julians, Initially a fishing village, later transformed into summer residence for wealthy locals and now has developed into one of the Island’s mostly fetched resorts for night life, entertainment, shopping and commerce for all age groups. Of cultural contrast, St Julians still retains some of its old dwellings and boat houses whilst the small bay still shelters numerous coloured Maltese boats that are berthed here all year round. St Julians is a village for all ages and walks of life and without any doubt has become Malta’s number one tourist destination.

The young at heart will enjoy nearby Paceville - this locality offers much to tourists looking for nightlife entertainment, including discos, bars, Casino , restaurants and other entertainment. Here there are dozens of closed and open air bars, cafes, restaurants, clubs as well as beautiful beach clubs, literally packing the streets with life and entertainment. During the day and early evenings, Paceville also houses a large shopping centre, as well as many upscale shops around the popular Portomaso and Hilton Development along Ross Street.

The food is definitely good however the main restaurant was not open for dinner 3 times during my 5 day stay and was transferred to a makeshift one in a lounge area. There was no atmosphere as the hotel was used mainly by business men very few holiday makers. I wished to contact my travel firm but reception blankly refused to help. This is not a five star hotel.
