• Directions to Piazza di Santa Maria Novella: step out the front door! Yeah, it really is that easy! And you don't need your walking boots to get to the Basilica di Santa Maria Novella, just turn left. You're 31 metres away to be exact!

• The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and its famous red dome are an 8 minute walk away, with the Opera del Duomo Museum and its mahoosive collection of Michelangelo and Donatello statues for you Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans.

• Finish up the TMNT tour with a 12 minute walk from the hotel to the Leonardo da Vinci museum, or a 16 min trot to the Palatine Gallery, the best collection of Raphael paintings in Firenze!

• Branch out to some well famous individual pieces, with Michelangelo's David hanging out in the Accademia Gallery a 14 minute walk away and Botticelli's Birth of Venus in the Uffizi Gallery also just 14 minutes on foot.
