we started our holiday with some bad knows when we arrived at Oceanis we were told that dude to a mix up we needed to spend a couple nights in a nearby hotel :( the manager came down and greeted us he was very apologetic and had arranged the taxi to pick us up and drop us of and the other hotel was of the same standard and we had all inclusive passes. when we returned 2 days later we had upgraded rooms to sea front room free wifi for the week (the wifi ranged from 3euros through to 15 depending on how long you wanted it for) and the safe free of charge. and later that day while we were out there was a bottle of wine and some cakes. the hotel was great the rooms are cleaned and the beds changed and made everyday! people were saying that the hotel bathrooms are too small but me and my girlfriend found them very manageable and I'm 6ft 3". the only downside was the food it was very good and the food was continuously topped up so never had to wait long for seconds! but! it was quite similar most nights and we found it was good but we did grow bored of it as the week went on the drinks were good there was beer and wine available throughout the day and the spirits are available when the bar opens! the only downside was that cocktails are not included but we found most nights we turned left and walked down to ixia. after a 5min walk you are greeted by a big strip of bars and restaurants. across from the hotel is the beach but you have to rent the sun beds but it is only 8euros for 2 for the whole day and just across from the hotel is a shack were you can rent jet skis and equipment for windsurfing (Deffo recommend the jet ski's!) inside the hotel is a little shop to get the essentials the bottles of water are very cheap and we found it great to stock up! as for exploring rhodes we round Oceanis to be a great base to set up the taxi prices were cheap we had a night out in Faliraki and it cost just 18euros for the taxi and took around 20-25mins to get there rhodes town was just a 5-10min drive away (Would recommend Elli Beach) all in all we found this hotel a great place to stay clean friendly and a pleasure to stay!!!

Got back home this morning and it's fair to say I had the holiday of a lifetime! The staff at the hotel are all so welcoming and helpful, they were always very quick with any requests such as booking taxis to go to different places. The restaurant staff were all so lovely and Syros always managed to find us lovely seats! Also they were very quick to clear away any plates (which I liked). The cleaning staff were great aswell, we had our room cleaned to a 5* standard on a daily basis! The room was a very good size and the bathroom was larger than I was expecting. The entertainment staff do an outstanding job, Ivan and Julia are like bundles of enthusiasm which made the trip so much more memorable! I was even invited up on the dance floor and learned how to dance ci papi. They have a variety of activities on offer like darts, aqua aerobics and water polo. Overall to all of the staff at the hotel, carry on doing the amazing job that you're already doing! :)
