Wasn't expecting much from some of the reviews on here so we were over the moon with what we got. We went in June with two children. We arrive at 10pm at night and a porter on an electric buggy took us to our room. Wasn't sure what room to expect but we got a two bedroom maisonette which was wonderful, loads of room and doors which opened up to the beach and one of the pools. We were told to go to one of the bars for 11pm for some food and they made us a ham/cheese salad for us all which was nice. Restaurant is wonderful, loads of variety and range and loads for children too. Maitre D and loads of staff around to help you who were all lovely. Lots of comments about feeding time at the zoo and there was some of that mainly because the hotel has a lot of nationalities who are not queuers like us Brits so it was a case of if you can't beat them, join them. I imagine its worse in July/August. All the staff were really nice, except the Reception staff who were admittedly pretty sullen. Kids club was really good. There was a lovely english lady there who the kids loved but all the staff there were lovely and the kids wanted to go every day. The beach is great, pizza oven on the beach most of the day, kids just helped themselves, bloody awesome. Pedlos and that were all included as were beds etc. No problem getting beds but a lot of people did reserve but i can imagine this might be an issue in July/August. Lots of bars everywhere and on tap ice cream all day left everyone happy. 3 great pools. 1 is freshwater that has the kids slides in and 2 salt water. The Greek Taverna was out of this world and couldn't believe the amount of food we got. As part of all inclusive we were overwhelmed, something like that alone would cost the best part of 80 euros for 4 people. Overall, we loved this place. Would go back again with the blink of an eyelid. All gutted to be leaving.

Fab hotel 5***

Myself, my husband and our two children have just got home after two lovely weeks at Norida beach, our first time in Kos and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We do all inclusive at hotel beach complexes every year but this has to be one of our favourites we have been to. Hotel is fabulous, clean, the staff cater to every need and are so friendly and helpful. On arrival, we were offered a meal and then was taken up to our family room which was ideal for a family with two children, separate bedroom for the kids and the doors to the balcony were situated in the main room so we could put the kids to bed and enjoy a couple of drinks on the balcony without disturbing them, in past hotels, the family rooms are either open plan or the children sleep in the lounge where the doors to the balcony usually are. The rooms are decorated to what you would expect in a Greek hotel, always clean and tidy but fairly basic. We have stopped at lovely grand hotels in Turkey before but never with the same service as what we had here, I would prefer that over a flat screen TV and plastic gold painted statues in the lobby!! The pool areas are all clean & there's plenty of sun loungers, we never struggled to get some. We spent our time at the bottom pool with it being more shallow, the pool bar was brilliant, the blokes there were always smiling and nothing was too much, by the end oft he holiday they knew it was either a beer or gin & tonic for me 😂 fab beach with water sports which we used a few times and thoroughly enjoyed and there was delicious pizza made all day on the beach all day. The restaurant staff were second to none, nothing was too much trouble, they work incredibly hard and make the dining experience much more enjoyable. The food was spot on, buffet areas clean and they were clearly strict on the amount of time the food was laid out, I saw full trays of food taken away and replaced with new trays every time we ate. The entertainment/animation team do a cracking job, never pushy but always floating around trying to get people involved. They work all day and always put on a show in the evenings, we quite often saw them rehearsing in the theatre in the small hours of the morning so it annoys me when people complain about the shows, it's very rare to get outside professionals entertainers in at theses all inclusive resorts unless you are paying 5 star ++ Kos is a small resort after all. My children loved the mini club, the girls work incredibly hard and are fab!! We rented a car a couple of times and I've got to say, sunset at Zia is worth a trip, Breathtaking, will be going back to Kos just to see that again! All in all, fab holiday and if we do return to Kos, we will be staying at Norida Beach!
