The hotel is amazing, spotlessy clean and the staff cant do enough for you, they work very hard to make sure your stay is lovely. I must mention Georgia (she works in the onsite supermarket), she is a diamond and goes out her way to help you, along with Edward, Nansi and Emili who work in the bar area. The food is great and cooked to high standards. I wouldnt rate it as 5 star but as a 4. We didnt go hungry as they cater for everybody. The staff are cant do enough for you. The rooms are to a high standard, and the staff who clean them come in every day and leave towels and shampoo etc. We came back from the beach one day to towels made into Swans with rose petals on the bed. A lovely thing to see. The only downside was the entertainment, there isnt any at all at night! There is a Karaoke once a week (Wednesday) and thats it! This is a shame as if they provided evening entertainment they would get a 5 Star rating. We met some lovely people so our entertainment was made, but.......they do need to sort that out. The Saxaphone man who plays is good but extremely boring! The Theatre is like a classroom and although they put one show on there, its very poor! There is a nightclub and disco on site, our room faced this and all we saw was 3 people in there! We later learnt that is was the Manager, Waitress and a Waiter! There is a a company that arrives 2/3 times a week to take photos of you and family members, the people that take the pictures are lovley but the quality of the photos is very bad! We bought 2 as we felt we had to, but the background is poor and the photos are practically white, you would think it was snowing and not blue skies as the quality is that bad. The beach is beautiful, and the sea is like tap water. We loved the holiday and cant fault it......except the entertainment which is very poor!

This was our first experience in a five star hotel, we are a big family of 8, kids ages range from 4-14 and we usually stay in smaller hotels with 3/4 star rating. First impression of this five star hotel was wow, it's big, it's clean and the rooms are lovely. We managed to get our bedrooms next to each other which was brilliant and we weren't to far from anything, our rooms were 394 and 395. Wasn't to far to beach, pool or restaurant so was pleased with our location! The 2 main pools are filled with the sea water so kids had a big shock when they got a mouthful of pool water! The water slides pool however is not sea water and we did tend to stay there most of the time. Pools are clean although I wouldn't give a 5 star rating of them, the sunbeds are pretty poor, alot are broken, however I didn't mind as long as i was soaking up that sun! The slides are good fun and I was so grateful they were there as the kids would have been extremely bored otherwise! The slides open around 10.30 and close at 5. 30. Pool bar is pretty poor to be honest, ice cream is available all day which is fab but the snacks are awful, they offer just sausage rolls or cheese triangle thingies! Fizzy pop is ALWAYS flat, didn't get one fizzy drink the whole 2 wks we were there! They do come round at round 11.30 with water melon, that was always very juicy and refreshing but that's the only good thing I have to say about the pool bar! The beach is very nice although it is gritty! I hope your travel agents haven't fobbed u off by saying there is sand as there is not! Water sports are on all day, sea is lovely and plenty of beds to get although I'd go early as they fill fast! Beach bar is slightly better than the bar at the water slides, they do offer pizza all day plus hotdogs and the drinks seemed better there too. Fair play to the pizza guys, they are there all day making these pizzas in the scorching heat and they always have a smile on their face, I really do respect these guys! The bar guys are pretty miserable however! OK so food at the restaurant.... the food Is very nice although it's the same every single day, that is NO exaggeration, literally we were that sick of eating the same food we actually ate out on a few occasions. There is an offensive smell that comes from the main kitchen where all the staff are in an out, avoid sitting by these doors as its not pleasant! I think it may be the dish wahsers or something?! They do offer the Greek and Chinese restaurant but u have to book this 2 days in advance, the Chinese is amazing an I totally recommend this! The guys are so friendly and constantly fill your drinks up and the food is gorgeous. We didn't try the Greek as it was always full but I imagine this was of the same standard. The majority of guys in main restaurant are lovely and they are great with the kids, always asking for high fives and making them laugh, the chips guy (my kids named him this) is lovely, as well as the pizza guys and the pasta guy! Always had a smile on their face which is lovely. These guys work extremely hard. Night entertainment is pretty poor, the animation team do work hard and I'm fully aware of how demanding their jobs can be but my kids were bored. There is nothing within the hotel grounds for kids to do apart from a mini arcade, a tennis court and an astroturph. We have always had brilliant holidays and never experienced the kids being so bored but here they were. We found ourselves heading into kardamena alot just to entertain the kids. The kids club for English is poor, kids didn't enjoy this at all, the little hut they have is not air conditioned and they didn't really do anything whilst in kids club. The itialians one however is amazing! They did everything with the kids that attended there, shame ours couldn't have spoke itialian! All in all this hotel is pretty poor for a 5 star, I won't book with Thomas cook again and we will be going back to first choice! I do recommend you hire a vehicle for the day and see the whole island, it's such a beautiful place, paradise beach is gorgeous and kos town is a nice visit. We paid €118 to hire a 9 seater bus for the whole day, it was fab. Oh and if you have children a visit to lido water park is worth a trip too, although it's rather small the kids loved it and it broke the wk up nicely. The hotel is around a 5 minute bus ride to the nearest town, there is nothing out of the hotel grounds apart from a very pricey go kart place! It's a lovely place but extremely boring.

This holiday was my first time using a hotel rather than renting a villa and I was extremely impressed. The staff were so polite and attentive, I couldn't of asked for better service; especially those in the main dining area ( Vivi, Andreas, Thanos and Armando being the family favourites.) The food was incredible, they catered well for my nut allergy, and offered a wide variety of delicious meals. The hotel was always spotless, and the rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard. The on-sight facilities and available trips made the holiday a real treat, I personally loved the Chinese restaurant. My family and I got the chance to travel to Turkey for the day, it was a great day out and was well planned at a very reasonable price. I highly rate this hotel, as it exceeded my expectations, they seem to have thought of everything! This hotel is a definite must for any future holidays goers.
