The Catalonia Gran Dominicus has 404 rooms divided into 16 villas. All rooms are equipped with central heating ,air-conditioning , full-size bed ,fan , direct phone line , complete marble bathroom with hairdryer ,satellite TV ,Minibar ,safety deposit box , Wi-Fi, internet access in rooms, Baby's cot ,extra beds ,room service.

Food & Drink

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (12:30-14:30) and dinner (19:30-21:30), all buffet style with international cuisine, served in the Taino restaurant. During meals water, soft drinks, beer, red & white wine and coffee are offered; at breakfast fresh juices and milk shakes too. Also at the disposal of the AI guests are the Grill restaurant for lunch & thematic dinner (Oriental, Italian, BBQ, Spanish, Seafood, Dominican, Mexican - rotating) and the El Patio for lunch & dinner (pasta, pizza). The El Patio operates as pizzeria every night from 23:00-02:00. Snacks are available between 11:00 & 17:30 at the Jacaranda snack bar. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like whiskey, brandy, soft drinks, mineral water, juices, coffee, rum, beer, cocktails, etc are served at the Merenguero bar (08:30-01:00), the beach bar (10:00-18:00), the snack point on the beach (11:00-17:30) and the disco bar (24:00-02:00) - according to each outlets' menu.

Sports & Entertainment

Sport facilities at the hotel include kayaks, catamaran, tennis, archery, beach volleyball, beach soccer, soccer, aerobics, step, bowls, ping pong, gym and basketball. The animation team organizes tournaments twice or three times daily. In the daily programme there is also muscular awakening, stretching on the beach, small arrows game on the beach, water gym on the beach & at the swimming pool, animation time with games, meringue, coffee game at the El Merenguero bar, tournaments of the day, Latin dance, bingo and dances at the El Merenguero, shows in the theatre (musicals & cabaret), competitions and disco.

The Jacaranda romantic restaurant on the beach with prior reservation (19:30-21:30, fixed menu with lobster or meat - table service), motorized water-sports, phone calls, faxes, post, taxi service, loss of room key & remote control, loss of beach towels, doctor & medicine and shopping centre (photographer, mini-market, beauty centre, boutique, Venta-diving centre) are available at a charge.
