Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 11 nights in July, I had previously contacted the hotel to upgrade to a high room with a sea view as I had read the reviews about the lower end rooms. Bit disappointing that we had to pay 220 euros towards this but it was worth it as we didn't see a cockroach in our room and we had a great view. We had room C4-11. The only bad point of this hotel is the heat is ridiculous, when you walk into a hotel from being in 25 degree heat you expect to be nice and cool. Where as walking into this hotel it just gets hotter. There is no air conditioning in the hotel and the rooms were awful at night. Also the ceiling fans were really loud. We rented a fan from the reception and it was a life saver. The hotel would be great if it just had air-con.

Stay clear of this hotel... Rooms are atrocious, no air con and ceiling fans are no good as they just blow hot air around the room. We stayed in room c4-17 not practical at all which is a side see view and is 1 level above street level which is a nightmare trying to sleep at night as from about 23:00 all the workers from the shops and restaurants start to go home and they park their cars and worst of all mopeds!!! Right outside all along the street. Even as late as 02:30 the sound of mopeds are unbearable especially when you have a 4 year old finding it hard enough to sleep because the room was like an oven due to a lack of air con!!. The rooms were cleaned and serviced if you can use the term " serviced" as twice our towels were not changed and " I'm not exaggerating but they were left in a ball in the bidet!!! Also every night without fail we found at least 3 cockroaches in our room, which didn't really bother me as you have to expect them in a country that's so warm, but you if you don't like them don't book this hotel. We ordered 4 ham and cheese sandwiches + 1 chip from pool bar and I'm not joking it took just over 40mins!!! To prepare as there was always only ever 1 employee serving !. When it got busy the life guard helped out took orders changed bins, cleaned tables so if any1 was in difficultly in the pool they probably would've drowned!!.As you've heard about our room we asked to be moved as the room was not suitable due to noise as we had a 4 year old with us, but we were told that it would cost us a supplement of €80 (€20 per day) even though we booked and PAID for a high floor with sea view but we didn't get that and they do have rooms with sea views....we were told by a cheeky very unprofessional reception staff with a serious attitude problem that they could move us to room c3-17 which was directly below us for no supplement but it was at street level!!!. So we just stuck out with the dive that we had. Also if you have kids there is no kids entertainment or kids club at this hotel. On our last night I went to turn on the light and the switch fell off the wall!!!. The only good point that I have about this hotel is the pool it's quite big and it was never busy. All in all this hotel is NOT suitable for families!. Please see pictures below of our "sea view room" which we paid for but didn't get, towels in bidet, cockroach on ceiling.

Really good all round value for money. Only negative was it was very, very hot at night when we were there and the ceiling fan in the bedroom wasn't quite effective enough - could have done with air...

Stayed at the sol Sun beach in fanabe Tenerife for two weeks last week in July first week in August and it was gorgeous we had a two bedroom apartment over looking the pool and I can't fault it except the draws in the kitchen smelt abit fusty, the only problem I have with this complex is there's no kid's club and it definitely could of done with one as there is enough space in the reception area !! Didn't think much of the food but we only booked bed and breakfast so I went without but the kids liked it, overall i liked this hotel and would definitely stay again but would want a pool view and not a room in the dungeons !!!!!!
