We are just returned from a 9 night stay in this hotel and as my title suggests we think it will be very hard to surpass this hotel in the future. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 boys (7 & 9) and it is the first time our boys actually wanted to take part in a hotel kids club activity. They loved the climbing wall & the mini disco. The hotel has a fabulous location right on a lovely beach and an easy stroll both directions to either playa blanca or the marina. There are so many lovely places to eat, drink, shop or people watch. The hotel staff are so lovely, I especially enjoyed Gonzalo at the pool area. He is so professional and unobtrusive but if you so much stand to adjust your seating he is there to attend. He appears to gently enforce the sunbed lounger hoggers problem and should be applauded by the hotel. There also was a lovely young man who organised the cocktail activity everyday and he was so pleasant and smiling. Our room was very comfortable and well stocked. we stayed in block A and initially I was concerned about the major lack of view but it meant we had wonderful quiet sleeps. The housekeeping schedules appeared to repeatedly conflict with the times we needed to use the room but I am sure a busy hotel has this problem often. I adored the breakfast buffet in the hacienda every morning. There is such a wonderful selection. I think it might be one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever experienced. i loved the birds although others complain! I am more reserved in my review of dinner in the international buffet but my husband loved it. Next time I would skip that and eat in the japanese restaurant. Overall it is a very sociable sort of hotel if you have children. You are going to meet other parents and if you are a person who wants solitude it might not be the holiday for you! We will be back next year absolutely (first time we have made that decision) well done Yaiza ....

Second year in a row at this excellent hotel for half term. Staff attentive, enthusiastic but not intrusive. Great restaurants, once more we didn't eat outside of the hotel! Very good for gluten free/coeliacs. Contacted by by guest relations before our stay, they sorted out some bookings for us. Our son made friends and had a great time playing non-stop. Thoroughly enjoyed the football sessions at Kiko. A superb week at what is becoming one of our favourite hotels.

Just returned from this great Hotel. Perfect location, overlooking beach and close to the very many restaurants. Stayed in a junior suite with great view of pools and sea. The breakfast was superb with amazing choice. We particularly enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice. Lots of oranges placed in a tray from which they tumble down as you press button. Tried Don Giovannis restaurant which was very good and Isla de Lobos which has beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. Meal, though expensive, was excellent. Facilities pools, Jacuzzis, entertainment, bars all good. The staff deserve lots of praise. Couldn't be more helpful and extremely friendly. Hope to return soon.
Cheap Playa Blanca holidays are more or less a fixture for tourists the whole year round, thanks in no small part to the consistently warm Lanzarote temperatures - consistently hot, that is! Hot it may be, averaging around 18° Celsius in December and 26° Celsius by the summer, but sultry breezes, courtesy of the trade winds, mean you’re never flustered. Having said that, ensure you have your sun cream on at all times to protect you from the sun's rays.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
