This was my 6th consecutive visit to the Princess Yaiza and it was probably the best. People ask how you can continually go back to the same place and isnt it boring?well the answer is categorically no!! This place is pure luxury for both adults and children. The service is exemplary and they just want to help you whenever they can. The entertainment is fantastic for both kids and adults - special mention to Andre the man with the muscles who did the Aqua Gym - what a star. He managed to get 50 people in the pool at midday doing aerobics! Breakfast is luxurious - make sure you go in at 9am - as they have 3 different restaraunts and the 9am is the best. There are 3 pools and a small baby pool - the hotel has everything. From the moment you go in to the moment you leave you will be looked after and you just cant ask for better service. They all speak perfect English as well. We look forward to our 7th visit!!!!

We visited this resort after being let down by other 5* resorts in Cyprus and Portugal. We were extremely impressed by the attention to detail, kids activities, number of pools, cleanliness of hotel, facilities, location and the range of activities. I would definitely reccommend this place for families with children. The beach was literally a stone's throw. The only downside was the range of vegetarian options in the hotel restaurants (however, they do try and assist on request) and the housekeeping was not always upto scratch

We stayed in August with my family which includes a 5 and 2 year old. The staff were extremely courteous and always helpful from the reception to the pool staff, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel design is beautiful with lots of wooden walkways, fountains and indoor streams. Rooms are spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The food is outstanding! We ate in 4 of the restaurants and none of them disappointed at all. The pools are good especially the salt water larger pool which we preferred to be honest just because it was larger than the others and my in laws could have a break from the busier kids pools. They do put a note on your sun bed if it is left un attended for over 30 mins stating that your belongings would be removed but I never witnessed it being enforced. I don't agree with some people reserving a bed and then going to the beach for the day! There is no need to do this as there are plenty of beds for everyone. The beach is a stones throw away and we snorkelled every day to see some amazing fish and see creatures (highly recommended). We did a few meals out in the new harbour area but to be honest once we tried the buffets and other restaurants in the hotel we never ventured back out!!!! Some reviewers have not liked the children's aspect of the hotel but take it from me, this place gives you five star comforts and luxury as well as taking care of little ones needs. If you want child free holidays, go to an adult only resort is my advice. Would I go back? You bet, can't wait!

Family of 4 (two children aged 6) stayed in August for 9 nights. We had a really nice holiday, very relaxing - great points: plenty of sunbeds (even in high season), good food variety, excellent childrens entertainment (Kikoland was fantastic), right on the beach, etc. I am docking marks only because this hotel is so very, very expensive. On the negative I was disappointed with the rooms - ours looked out on waste ground beside the hotel. The room decor was very basic, beds were uncomfortable. Food in the buffet was pretty good but at night we found it unbearably hot & uncomfortable. Outside of the buffet nowhere else was too hot! We bought 3 nights buffet dinner on arrival - I would not recommend it due to the heat. The pools were cold - the kids still managed to get in & out for a while but given it was August I was really disappointed - in October there is no way you could use the pools. Night time entertainment (post kids disco) was poor. Service generally was a bit hit & miss (e.g. we would typically need to ask for popcorn in the bar 4-6 times, we waited 45 mins for Gluten free toast on 5 of the 9 mornings (our son cannot have Gluten), etc, etc. that said the staff were all friendly at all times. As I say we had a lovely holiday but at the prices this places charges we expected closer to perfect.
