We found the bungalows very peaceful which was ideal for us. It was nice to have the table and chairs on the terrace. The whole complex is very pretty and clean. We did find the bungalow cold in the evening so whether a form of heating could be supplied may be a good idea. Also the kitchen equipment was a bit basic but that didn't worry us too much. It was nice that the bungalows are cleaned five times a week and we didn't have any problems with ants which I had previously read on other reviews. All in all we had a great holiday and would recommend Playa Limones for an enjoyable stay.

stayed at playa limones for 1 week in december. lovely bungalows, are terrace was huge.3sunbeds and we still had room for a table and chairs.all the bungalows are south facing,so you get the sun all day.pool area was very quiet,no problem with sunbeds.the complex is kept very clean and it is a 2 minute walk to one of the best beaches i have ever been to.a pleasant 15/20 minute stroll on the beach front to the harbour and all of its restaurants/bars/shops etc.we came for our daughters 21st birthday, she said she would rather have a cocktail on the beach than a party.that said ,for her 21st it was a little to quiet.a big shout out to NACHO on reception,as we asked him to find apts in pdc for 1 night.NACHO looked on the net and found us an ideal place to stay, many thanks to him, what a star..overall i would definately recommend playa limones to anybody looking for a relaxing and friendly break.fingers crossed we will return to playa limones again, great value for money.

We stayed at Playa Limones from 15th Aug to 24th August 2014 (2 adults and 2 children - 11 & 9) We had booked this particular place because we wanted a relaxing and no fuss self catering holiday and it was more than perfect for our needs. The bungalows were great and well equipped and plenty big enough for the 4 of us. We had 2 single beds in the bedroom and the settee in the lounge plus a put up bed in the lounge. We requested more pillows from the maids and they were brought really quickly. We also realised we only had 3 of everything and reception arranged for an extra of everything to be added and it was with no problem at all. The bungalows also have 2 sun loungers outside them for your own personal use which is great. There is also a small back yard area with washing line which is fantastic for drying towels and swimwear. We did have quite a few ants in and around the property and the maid sprayed them but explained that even where she lived they are everywhere. They didn't bother us one bit i might add. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom but i couldn't get ours to work but as i had taken a small travel one it didn't matter. The reception is open 9am to 9pm and easy and pleasant check in and out process. The snack bar was really cheap (big beers in frozen glasses €2, soft drinks around €1.50, ham and cheese toastie and chips €2.50 and burger and chips €3.50) We didn't eat in the restaurant but it was buffet style but as we didn't eat there i cant comment. The pool area is also fantastic with a huge sheltered pagoda to move out of the sun, this was brilliant for when the kids wanted some down time. There wasn't any problems getting sun loungers as the majority of guests seemed to take towels away iof they left them and didn't hog them all day. It was the best sun lounger situation we have had in a long time (some still avail midday!). There are 3 pools with one of them being a shallow baby pool and the other 2 are both 1.7m deep but really clean and lovely to use. There is a SPAR supermarket about 300m down the road and would advise using this as all the other nearby ones are quite a bit more expensive. Popeye's bar in the same complex as the SPAR has happy hour 4-7pm where large beers are €1. We walked into the centre every night to eat and we either walked back on the beach road or a taxi was around €3. Would def. recommend Playa Limones as a relaxing and peaceful no fuss getaway. We wouldn't hesitate to return here.
Cheap Playa Blanca holidays are more or less a fixture for tourists the whole year round, thanks in no small part to the consistently warm Lanzarote temperatures - consistently hot, that is! Hot it may be, averaging around 18° Celsius in December and 26° Celsius by the summer, but sultry breezes, courtesy of the trade winds, mean you’re never flustered. Having said that, ensure you have your sun cream on at all times to protect you from the sun's rays.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
