Food & Drink

• La Bocana - the main buffet restaurant, AKA the star of the show. Pile your plate high at the buffet, with big breakfast buffets, cooked-to-order omelettes, crispy English bacon and drool-worthy dessert counters at dinner.

• Kasbah a la carte - this place gets a big 10/10 from us. You need to book your place, but trust us - you'll want to (and it's FREE for all-inclusive guests!). Expect a high-class menu of melt-in-the-mouth steaks, veggie dishes and trios of desserts (because why choose one?)

• La Geria - tuck into burgers, salads and sandwiches right by the pool. Plus, there's Estrella on tap. Cheers to that!

• Mike's Coffee Shop - no, Mike from down the road hasn't found his coffee calling - that's just the name. This place is pretty swish, with cosy seats, fresh coffee and a cake and cookie counter that we're still dreaming about

• Tahiche Bar - the main lobby bar, serving your favourite branded booze (all part of the all-inclusive concept). Everything's waiter service at night, and orders are taken electronically - so you'll always get your drinks in a jiffy.

Did you know?

This hotel's part of the eco-friendly squad, so kiss goodbye to plastic. Well, for the most part. You'll have a plastic-free wristband, and refillable water bottles are sold behind the bar for just a couple of euros. There are water-filling stations at all the bars so you can keep topped up, and you can keep your bottle as a practical holiday souvenir. Better than a fridge magnet, right?

Sports & Entertainment

• Two outdoor pools to pick from - and just a heads up, there's a no-bagsying-sun-loungers-before-9:30AM rule, so you can mosey on down and flop down a towel just before brekkie

  • Big beach towels are FREE from reception, and then an extra €2 if you want them replaced with fresh ones

• Games Room with a TV, pool tables, dart boards and board games - like a night at the pub, Lanzarote-style

• Indoor pool - for when you fancy a heated swim. It's not one of those dark, dingy indoor pools either - it's out on the terrace under a clear canopy, so you can still make the most of those 10/10 views!

• Mini golf ... *cue the arguments*

• Daily activities - from Pilates and yoga to Tai Chi, aqua aerobics, archery and table tennis

• Cooking classes - just in case you fancy brushing up on your dinner party skills for when you get back home

• Gym - cardio isn't at the top of our holiday to-do list, but the views from this swanky fitness room might've just bumped it up a tad...

• Nudist terrace - before you clutch your pearls, don't worry - this place is so tucked-away and discrete that you won't even know it's there. Unless you want to, of course. No judging here!
