After reading some reviews I was thinks omg what have I done? The hotel ain't that bad remember u ain't booked 5*so don't expect 5*service. Travelled in group of 7 which included a 1, 3 and 9yr old. Room was lovely and clean, think it had a re-dec and very modern. Very limited cutlery and plates but didn't need it as all Inclusive. Cleaned every other day and towels changed 3 times in 10 days so had to go to reception to get them change. Was near the bar at night but it ain't that noisy and didn't keep us up. Food was brill something for everyone so ignore the reviews about the bad food and all 7 if us found something we liked at each meal time. Drinks -spirits watered down but that happens and local mixers -coke tastes like wazz. Served in plastic glasses but didn't mind due to Lil us, last orders 11.30pm. No alcohol served at breakfast. Entertainment- well after reading reviews I was looking forward to it however if it wasn't for the families joining in then it would be boring. Stu and micky really did make an effort, always looked the part and looked well presented. Walked in one night and a female rep was on think her name is Katie and she looked like she had rolled out of bed messy hair and in leggings and a vest top. (Hangover clothes) Would not of known she was even a rep. There was a reptile and bird show which needs to be scraped very basic and money maker for the photos. What's in the box needs to be scraped again repetative; boring ! Bingo ...bingo.... bingo.... main focus ...come on were on a holiday, not a day centre!!! Would loved to of seen more shows would of made it better with being all inclusive. Pool very slippy one guy fell cut his head, first aid absolutely shocking!! Few improvements will make a big difference. Very close to town and 5 min to beach.
Just returned from a week at the Ficus, first ever time being all inclusive and was very happy with the choice of meals although would prefer better snack choices in between meals. Lovely sized pools...
Just returned from a week at the Ficus, first ever time being all inclusive and was very happy with the choice of meals although would prefer better snack choices in between meals. Lovely sized pools and good entertainment through the day from the reps. Good location, 10 minute walk to the beach. Rooms were a good size and very clean, only complaint with the room is the balcony door didn't lock and we asked twice for someone to come look at it but no one turned up. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to book to go here

We got home this morning from a two week holiday at Ficus Apartments. Myself, my husband, three daughters aged 22, 20 & 18, plus our 9 yr old lad. We stayed in two apartments on the ground floor. The apartments were great, with everything we needed. On the first day we mentioned to the reception staff about a door that was not opening properly, it was repaired before lunchtime. The rooms are cleaned five times a week and the towels were changed twice a week. The food was great, always piping hot. Plenty of choice for everyone. The staff were all very friendly and helpful in the restaurant. We could not fault them, they were brilliant. We also have to make a special mention to Chelo, one of the lifeguards. A petit young lady with dark hair, normally tied up in a pony tail. She works so hard and never stops, she never sits down and is on her feet all day. Chelo is very polite and friendly, she is a real credit to the hotel. I hope that the hotel managers know what an asset Chelo is to their hotel? Then there are the unforgettable entertainment staff team - Stu, Mickey and Katie-Jane. They too work very hard all day. From poolside games, cocktails, quizzes during the day and kids disco, bingo and audience participation games and entertainment shows in the evenings. They are all polite and friendly. Nothing is too much and they will help you out with whatever you need. We also witnessed Stu and Mikey dealing with a holiday makers medical emergency and they were both brilliant. Very caring and supportive to the whole family involved. The hotel is in walking distance of local shops, bars, restaurants, banks, pharmacy, Dr and of course, the beach. We walked everywhere. The girls loved sunbathing by the poolside and our 9yr old played in the pool all day. We had a brilliant two week holiday. So there are the positives, as for negatives? 1 - The main downside of the Ficus for us was the type of evening entertainment. We do not like to get up on stage and take part in audience participation type shows. However the other holiday makers were all more than happy to join in. 2 - One of the lifeguards seemed to prefer to sit under the tree on his mobile phone or sit chatting to his friend, rather than do the jobs that all of the other lifeguards did? 3 - The poolside is very slippery
