Well most of our experiences of all inclusive in the canaries have been 4 or 5 star family hotels in Tenerife big high rise hotels, this was completely new to us, and what a breath of fresh air... A stunning resort its own little village, away from the hussle and bustle of the centre of corralejo but close enough for a walk. Many pools and lots of sun beds but you did not feel crowded, good food and excellent staff always there to help. We managed to get a suite close to the restaurant behind reception in the quieter end of the hotel, where there was always room around the pool. Our eleven year old son was in the pool from 9 in the morning till 6 every day he loved it. He also found the Xbox suite fantastic too!!!! Altogether a fantastic hotel with excellent food. If I had to add anything it just lacked the usual evening entertainment in the evening, the live acts the singers, acrobats etc, I admit the entertainment team did do there best and while good, it just did not last long enough... Roll on next year if I can find the same deal we will be back!!!

Just back from four nights in Fuerteventura staying at the Sunconnect Atlantis Fuerteventura Resort in Corralejo. We had a lovely time and found the staff to be welcoming and friendly. As we were only there for four nights we just wanted to chill out and relax without the need for lots of travelling around to enjoy ourselves and this hotel was perfect for that, everything we needed on one site. The welcome at reception when we arrived was lovely, staff were really friendly and helpful. Reception area makes a great first impression too, really nice area with a small bar at the back and lovely seating areas too. We made use of these seating areas on our last night and the last day before our departure and it turned out to be a great area to relax, it was a nice cooler area away from the high temperatures but still really sunny thanks to the big windows. The seats and sofas were very comfy and helped to chill out for a while. The hotel room was great, really spacious inside and a good size balcony outside. Our room overlooked one of the many pool areas. Our room wasn't far from the area where all the evening entertainment took place but we didn't have any problems with noise at night. Food options were fantastic - even for a very picky eater like me. There was loads of options for food and nobody seemed to be unhappy with the choices. The restaurant does get busy but the food never runs out. People in the restaurant do tend to rush around and not have a care about who's around them though - the bruise on my foot is now starting to disappear after getting stood on. Really nice to see the cooking stations in the main restaurant too and see your food cooked in front of you. There does seem to be quite a lot of breakages in the restaurant with the sound of breaking plates and glasses quite often and not always by the holiday makers. We sat at breakfast one morning and a waitress knocked a glass full of drink over my husband which then smashed at his feet, he was covered in his drink and the smashed glass was everywhere. There was children sitting at tables around us but the waitress didn't seem in too much of a rush to come back and clean up the glass, even when she did come back she missed lots of the pieces of glass. The small shop near reception with little gifts etc is lovely and the lady working in there was extremely helpful and friendly. There is loads to do with a activities taking place all day and entertainment every night. Lots of pools to choose from, kids club, spa, tennis courts, pool tables, basketball court, volleyball, numerous bars and eating areas. The animation team clearly working very hard and seem very friendly, kids seem to love them. Wi-Fi throughout but can be intermittent. Just a short walk to the beach - not far at all. Letter pushed under our door to wish me a happy birthday - thank-you. We had a lovely time and would certainly go back again.

My wife and I returned from this hotel on Sat 27th June. It is a nice, rather than exceptional hotel but the staff could not have been any more pleasant or helpful if they tried. I want in particular to pay tribute to Michael in reception for his quite outstanding aid in recovering a camera which I carelessly left on the seat of a taxi. Within seconds of the loss being reported by our new friend Brian who dashed to reception whilst I tried to trawl through my defective memory the had the whole security team on alert. Then, when I subsequently recalled having had the camera right up to the point of entering a taxi he was instantly on the phone again spreading the word to the Suites are spacious, clean and well laid out but, unless you can't live without canapés at the pool-side, two free p.c. consoles and daily newspapers on holiday, I wouldn't bother with the up-grade package. Even those priviledged few who paid the extra premium had to mix with us commoners for all meal-times and entertainment venues. Speaking of entertainment; I can't claim it was great. Starting with the 'Theatre' which needs a serious renovation with far more comfort being the prime objective, as the seats looked and felt as though they had been hastily removed from a decrepit 1960's cinema prior to it's demolition and simply placed where they now sit without any thought of actually re-securing them to the floor. The young 'animation' team have some obvious dance and acrobatic skills but one evening of distasteful toilet humour really did them no favours, especially with many young children present in the auditorium. Although we did spend two enjoyable evenings there I felt that more regular and better quality outside entertainment is a must for what is claimed as a four-star hotel. For those who love pools ... well ... you will be spoilt for choice. I believe there are about 9 on site. I enjoy walking so went into the resort centre several times ( 20mins for this 65 yr-old via the back gate and beach track but don't wear sandals or flip-flops or 30-35 mins through the front entrance and around the streets). The all-inclusive package worked well and all bar staff worked like Trojans; most with a winning smile. Although Nick helped us with the wifi I still have to report that we found it inadequate and patchy. Our Rep Chloe was great. Being a senior rep on site she was efficient, personable, approachable and did everything with a winning smile. All in all ... a good holiday with lots of memories and some really good company

First trip to Fuerteventura. I thought the Hotel was fine, my only other experiences of All Inclusive has been in 5* resorts in the Caribbean. Although food/drink did not come anywhere near these standards it was still descent. Had a lovely suite on 1st floor facing the adult pool, agree the A/C was not up to much but the room was lovely. Ate at the Asian restaurant which was more stir fry cooked to order. Loved the Spanish Tapas restaurant which was good quality food and a nice atmosphere. The main restaurant was not to bad at all, everything you would ever want for breakfast whether it be hot or cold food. Evening meal was again ok. Nice little bar for adults only in the main area which was a more quitter haven. Not much of a beach near the front of the hotel which is a couple of minutes walk away. You can walk a few more minutes to Coco beach were you hite chairs/parasolos etc. But if you really want a top notch beach gone to the sand dunes. Its a 5 euro taxi ride each way and ask for the Riu Hotel which is the drop off point. Nice wide sandy beach with chair/parasol hire 9 euro for 2 people all day. Cafe and toilet facilities on the beach. We did walk a couple of times which was nice but its a hot walk. As you may read else where with the sand dunes you WIILL see nudists so be prepared as they are not shy, its not a problem but be aware if you have children with you. Don't worry they are not on the main beach area. Its a nice walk into town up the sea front from the hotel to. All in all we had a great stay and yes I would recommend particularly in the adult area the accommodation is much quiter. If you need wifi I found it difficult from the room but ok around the main areas.. Remember, some people complain about everything, So don't let some of the petty gripes put you off. Your decision..... Enjoy !!

Tourist Information

Weather

Corralejo enjoys year-round sunshine and very little rainfall. Average daytime temperatures vary between 16°C at the start of the year and 25°C during the peak months of July and August.

If that sounds a bit too hot, or if you're visiting with younger kids who are more sensitive to the sun, try taking a Corralejo holiday outside of peak time - perhaps in October or February when the island still enjoys mild weather of around 23° Celsius, so a tan is still possible! The island also receives mild north-easterly winds all year round, so you’ll receive a welcome breeze whatever time you visit. Take particular care during peak season, though, as the breeze can disguise the strength of the sun.

As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
