This is a very good hotel. Not spectacular, but very good. Being the second time we've stayed here we arrived with high expectations. Given the size of the complex your experience is slightly dependent on room and location but overall we had a good break. The all inclusive experience can be slightly suffocating, but if you embrace it and make the effort to venture to the beach from time to time this will prove a good family experience. Nice staff, good food, and a fine selection of pools. The kids club is excellent also. Overall a thumbs up, particular for a young family.

We stayed here for 2 weeks 4-18 Aug, there we 3 adults and 1 child in our Junior Suite. I'll start with our check in, we arrived at the hotel after a relatively short journey from the airport at around lunch time, our suite wasn't available yet but we were advised to go for lunch at it would be ready when we got back. It was! We sorted out the safety deposit box and pool towels and with our map made set off to find our suite. I know this has been a bit of a frustration with some reviewers but I have to say the whole complex is very well signposted. We found our suite easily unpacked and then went for a walk round to get an idea of where everything was. Pools - there are lots of these, we settled for one close to our room but there is a bigger animation pool with lots of music/activities throughout the day and a relaxing pool next to the spa/gym that doesn't allow inflatables that looked really nice. You have to pay a deposit for pool towels which is only charged if you don't return your cards after taking your towels back, this was fine with us however we didn't like that we could only change them once in 2 weeks every 3/4 days would have been better. Sunbeds - yes I did set my alarm for 7am every morning because as a fellow holidaymaker said to me one morning "if you can't beat them, join them!" It was annoying but I we wanted beds by the pool and if I hadn't done that we wouldn't have had them. It was the school holidays so unsure if that's why it was so bad but we went down at 7.40 one day (I'd decided to treat myself to the snooze button) and there weren't any beds by the pool we had to go on the grass behind and we took the final 4 sunloungers. They do keep about 15 locked up until 10 but you won't get anywhere near a pool then! Food & Drink - We ate in Gaudi (the main restaurant) for our entire stay and can't complain at the food, we had some absolutely lovely meals and there was a lot of variety. The salads were lovely with different selections of meats, fish and cheese. The one thing that did frustrate me about the restaurant was the fact the A la carte restaurants don't open until 7.30, we have a 7 year old son so no way could we eat that late so can't review those I'm afraid. Drinks were nice, I think plenty of selection for an all inclusive, Special mention to the Maitre'd Jose, our Waiter Jose and Waitress Iryna. You were all fantastic and so good with our son! Entertainment - The animation team work really hard to provide activities both in the day and at night with all sorts to get involved in. My son likes watching the volleyball while eating ice cream at the pool bar in an afternoon while we played bingo or did the quiz. We didn't go to the entertainment in the evening so can't review that. My son loved Tom and he was so good with him, always coming up and giving him a high five and asking him how he was! Thanks Tom! Rooms - The suites are lovely, only 2 gripes with them to be honest. 1st one being the air con, I know a lot of people have mentioned this. It only works in the living area not the bedrooms. I slept in the living area and I can promise you I couldn't feel it. There were some days it was colder being outside and we went in August! 2nd thing was no ventilation in the bathroom so with 4 people having showers at night the bathroom got very hot! That aside everything else was good. Enough space for all our clothes etc. I think if we were to stay again we'd try and get a 2 bed suite just so we have somewhere I sit inside that isn't on a bed. General One good thing about the all inclusive package here is because the hotel is a Thomas Cook hotel you get all inclusive up until you leave for the airport instead of the other time of 12. They have to print this because not all guests are with Thomas Cook. We asked for a upstairs room to avoid any cockroaches and we didn't get any at all in fact I only saw one the entire holiday. If you want a taxi, walk down to the security booth and they will order one for you, they only take a couple of minutes One day out you have to do is Oasis Park zoo, best day out ever and best zoo I've ever been too! Fun for everyone. Free coach picks you up from the hotel and drops you back, it runs everyday (in the summer unsure about other times). All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel and should we return to Fuerteventura we will stay here for sure. Thank you for a lovely family holiday.

We have just returned from a two week holiday at the Suite hotel Atlantis and had an amazing time. Fuerteventura is a beautiful island and this resort a perfect place to stay. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to the adult only area upon arrival and thoroughly enjoyed the wuiet, relaxing atmosphere within this gated area. We were able to walk a short distance to the main pools and the many daily activities taking place there or choose to relax by the adult only pool and take part in the games and quizzes brought to us by the animation team during the afternoon. We were also regularly served with appetizers and cocktails. We found the pool to be warm and clean. In fact the whole resort was clean and well maintained. Our suite was spacious and comfortable. The air con was initially a little ineffective, however when our superb cleaner mentioned this to the management, the unit was replaced within days. There seems to be a programme of air con updating throughout the resort. The staff throughout the resort were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and they seemed to take constant pleasure in ensuring that everyone was comfortable, happy and enjoying their holiday. They even made us a Birthday cake for my son at very short notice and went out of their way to ensure it was delivered to our dinner table in style. Despite working long hours all staff were always smiling and happy. Their kindness and warmth made the holiday even more enjoyable. The food was excellent with lots of choice at every meal in the main buffet restaurant. We also enjoyed the bookable Asian and spanish restaurants, the leg of lamb in the latter was delicious and the waiter service made a change. Being high season there were a lot of people in the main buffet at times but we never had to queue for more than a few seconds and the tables were constantly cleared and relaid thanks to the superb efficiency of the staff. We did have a few meals out for the experience and can recommend the pizza restaurant and rock cafe in town. The resort is situated in an ideal position for exploring, being five minutes from the small shopping centre El Campanari and a 10 to 15 minute walk along the beachfront to the main strip and harbour. The taxi ride either way was only about 3 to 4 euros and easily ordered at the front of the resort. The beaches were great, a little rocky in places but some lovely Sandy ones very close by. We took a bus to Olivia beach near the sand dunes which took just a few minutes and was well worth it , miles of soft sand with a snack bar and Sun beds to hire. We had a fantastic holiday and can't wait to return. Thank you to everyone at hotel Atlantis.
Most fantastic place ever our home from home been 10 times. We go to adults only part of the hotel as its much quieter and the pool area is fab. Main pool very noisy and busy but great for families...
Most fantastic place ever our home from home been 10 times. We go to adults only part of the hotel as its much quieter and the pool area is fab. Main pool very noisy and busy but great for families. Loads for kids to do. Food is good but kinda similar nightly but speciality restaurants are a nice change. Staff couldn't do enough for us second to none and enrique is fab on the coffee and cocktails. In easy reach of the town if you fancy the nightlife area is very safe and flat for walking. Can't wait for out next trip.
