My husband and I stayed here for one week at the beginning of march, with our 3 year old and baby. I requested a quiet room in advance and on arrival we were given a lovely room at the edge of the hotel near to the kids club and pool. Room spacious and very clean. WiFi in room fantastic. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel located in a great spot, away from the noise of the resort centre but only a short walk away, which my 3 year old was happy to walk. Food was disappointing. Although there was a lot on offer, I often struggled to find foods which complimented each other and you could make a meal out of. There are two other restaurants on site which you can visit once per stay in all inclusive allowance. However you have to queue up in the morning to make a reservation and unless you get there really early you aren't guaranteed a booking or offered one late in the evening. We only got a late evening reservation for the Asian restaurant and it didn't meet our expectations. We were expecting an a la carte restaurant when it was yet another buffet! Food was really bland. There was an area where you could order stir fry chicken/prawns and watch the chef cook it. There was always a queue of people waiting as the poor chef had to use an electric powered wok which took ages to fry anything! My advice would be to buy him a gas stove to cook on if there's no gas supply to the area. Some food on the lunch buffet made an encore in the evening. Main buffet restaurant did feel quite claustrophobic when busy (would be unbearable in peak season when upstairs seating in use). Drinks at the bar were good. Variety of cocktails for all inclusive. Kids club, pools and playground located all together so children able to run around freely between them. Bike hire shop just outside the hotel. Would recommend. We rode up to the dunes where the beaches are beautiful (beach next to hotel not great).

I booked this holiday based on the reviews and am writing this from my room. Firstly, water and safe hire are payable. I haven't been to an AI where this is the case but ok, not happy about it but there is a supermarket just outside the hotel which is cheap. Safe hire is €2.50 a day but if you don't use it, your travel insurance is null and vpid. What has incensed me is that it is currently quite cold and so are the rooms. I understand it is early in the season and get that it wont be hot but I have been so cold we asked for a heater. If we want a heater we have to pay €15 rental. This I disagree with as this should be a fundamental and for them to charge is disgusting. Finally after getting maintenance out they mended the a/c in the room so it threw put some heat but I just feel that everything is geared up to get extra money off of you.

I wanted to write a review for those people with babies and toddlers who are considering this hotel for their holidays - get it booked! We stayed here for a week at the start of March 2015, with our 15 month old Son and we had a brilliant time. The hotel staff are friendly, polite and efficient and check in was a speedy process. We did get lost getting to our room initially as the place feels like a maze, but it is because it is set out so nicely, with beautiful looked after gardens. We paid extra to have a family suite, which meant an extra bedroom. We also ordered a travel cot in the room. This was waiting for us in the room when we got there. It was a lovely big travel cot, with an extra mattress (on top of the one that normally folds away), they also provided sheets for the travel cot (first time we have ever experienced that - as normally take my own!) We managed to push the two single beds across so we could squeeze the cot in the second bedroom. The rest of the family suite had a walk in wardrobe and a living area, which included a fridge, kettle (to make bottles of milk) and a tv and air-conditioning unit. The main bedroom was open plan to the living space (no doors) but didn't cause a problem as we were able to put out Son to bed and still have a large space to chill out in for the evening. The curtains are extra thick (no need to take extra black out blinds..) We had a ground floor apartment - which I highly recommend. we had grass out the back which we were able to play on (we were room 2113) Free WiFi worked brilliantly in our room. As far as we could tell they had separated the people in the hotel so families with young children were in the section of the hotel near the kids club, baby pool, toddler pool and play area. These were immaculate. The kids play area was brilliant. We never used the kids club as never needed to, but we could have taken our Son there, but one of us would have needed to stay with him. The food was brilliant. Great variety and choice every night. There were multiple highchairs (at least 30) in the main restaurant - they are the white ikea ones, we never had trouble getting one. My only criticism with the dinner was that it didn't start until 1830, when my Son usually eats at 1700 and there was no time difference, he was often too tired to eat in an evening. Having spoken to other families with children the same age, they were experiencing a similar issue, so we weren't overly worried that he wasn't eating much at night!!! The staff in the restaurant were brilliant, there was never any fuss and they quickly tidied away dirty plates. The alcohol choice in the hotel was brilliant, between us we managed to try most of the cocktails on the menu!! There were numerous bars around the complex, there was one very close to our suite, but unfortunately shut at 1800, so after our Son was in bed, one of us walked to the Plaza bar (near the main restaurant) or the Lobby bar to get drinks in plastic glasses to take back to our room. The hotel is around 15-20 minute walk on the road to Corralejo and we thought it took us around 35-40 minutes to walk to Corralejo harbour. Not a bad route with a pushchair. It wasn't possible to walk along beach to correlate with a pushchair, but you could easily do it with a baby carrier. The beach close by was lovely, about a 5-10 minute walk (Coco beach) we enjoyed paddling and throwing stones in the sea there. Transfer time from airport was around 35 minutes, but a gorgeous route as road runs all the way along the coast. We were very lucky with the weather and will definitely consider going back to stay in the hotel in the future. Thanks to the Suite Hotel Atlantis staff for a brilliant family friendly stay :0)
Corralejo enjoys year-round sunshine and very little rainfall. Average daytime temperatures vary between 16°C at the start of the year and 25°C during the peak months of July and August.
If that sounds a bit too hot, or if you're visiting with younger kids who are more sensitive to the sun, try taking a Corralejo holiday outside of peak time - perhaps in October or February when the island still enjoys mild weather of around 23° Celsius, so a tan is still possible! The island also receives mild north-easterly winds all year round, so you’ll receive a welcome breeze whatever time you visit. Take particular care during peak season, though, as the breeze can disguise the strength of the sun.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
