First trip to Fuerteventura. I thought the Hotel was fine, my only other experiences of All Inclusive has been in 5* resorts in the Caribbean. Although food/drink did not come anywhere near these standards it was still descent. Had a lovely suite on 1st floor facing the adult pool, agree the A/C was not up to much but the room was lovely. Ate at the Asian restaurant which was more stir fry cooked to order. Loved the Spanish Tapas restaurant which was good quality food and a nice atmosphere. The main restaurant was not to bad at all, everything you would ever want for breakfast whether it be hot or cold food. Evening meal was again ok. Nice little bar for adults only in the main area which was a more quitter haven. Not much of a beach near the front of the hotel which is a couple of minutes walk away. You can walk a few more minutes to Coco beach were you hite chairs/parasolos etc. But if you really want a top notch beach gone to the sand dunes. Its a 5 euro taxi ride each way and ask for the Riu Hotel which is the drop off point. Nice wide sandy beach with chair/parasol hire 9 euro for 2 people all day. Cafe and toilet facilities on the beach. We did walk a couple of times which was nice but its a hot walk. As you may read else where with the sand dunes you WIILL see nudists so be prepared as they are not shy, its not a problem but be aware if you have children with you. Don't worry they are not on the main beach area. Its a nice walk into town up the sea front from the hotel to. All in all we had a great stay and yes I would recommend particularly in the adult area the accommodation is much quiter. If you need wifi I found it difficult from the room but ok around the main areas.. Remember, some people complain about everything, So don't let some of the petty gripes put you off. Your decision..... Enjoy !!

Like every hotel, this one has a few faults but the key word in that sentence is "FEW". Nowhere is perfect, andd many guest might just try and find something to moan about but I promise you Atlantis is extremely close to being perfect. This is my 6th time of travelling here and my first time travelling without parents and everytime it has been perfect. The food is brilliant, cateering to many different tastes and nationalities, a constant restocking of food is shown throughout every meal! The bar staff, as always, were poliet welcoming and tentitive, handling the large ques with ease. My friend and I were very lucky to be upgraded to the Adults only Zone, and with this we had the luxuries of all the premium zone added bonuses for free! Oh, and as this hotel is now part of the SunConnect chain, it means that Wifi is free everywhere, yes, everywhere wiithin the complex. The room was great, and our maid was lovely, she was always cheerful and polite every morning, our room was cleaned pretty much everyday and it was great to see how tidy it was after a hard day around the pool. The only issue with the room was the bathroom door not locking, but heyho, it definatly made for amusement throughout the week. Now, I feel that the entertainment and Animacion Team deserve their own paragraph. Where to begin, these wonderful people work so hard, weither it's Akile and Jessica in the Mini club or Lorenzo with the teenagers, they make sure to put 110% at all times. The activities for the adults were varied and therefore catering for everyone, Kasia, taking the roll of the Fitness Animator, did a wonderful job with streching and toning, aqua gym and so much more! Ilario and Ale were brilliant with the sports activties, including Frenchbowls and everyone favorite Volleyball. Lorenzo ensured that the teenagers were never bored, keeping the activities varied and full of energy. And Marina, such an amazing Chef Animator ensured that everything ran smoothly with a welcoming and energetic atmosphere which spread throughout all of the team. The everning entertainment is just another point to prove the hard work and dedication of the Animators, putting on brilliant shows which are quickly followed by a disco all week or Karaoke on Monday and Friday nights (continuing until 1). Ever on the teams day of the professional shows were superb and never get old! The team are amazing and I cannot explain how much they are appreciated! They always make my holidays at Atlantis ten times better and this time was no exception! Well Done, Animacion!

The kids club and evening entertainment programs were excellent, it is ideally suited for families however there is a couples area too. Food is super and range different every night. we loved everything

Day 1. Arrived early evening and find ourselves 'penned' into the family area. First impressions are that the hotel tries to separate the family bookings from the non family which is good if you are on an adults only break. Not like a 'traditional' family friendly hotel though. Good things so far; main restaurant seems good, big selection and my fussy kids have been fed. Animation team mini disco was good kids loved it. For the dads... Estella on tap which is nice, all be it small glasses which makes you visit more. Bar staff seem tentative and very nice. Let's move onto the 'not so great' first Impressions. Rooms isn't great, air con is rubbish. We are in a junior suite. Air con is a small unit in the small living room which struggles to keep that cool, forget it in the main bedroom. Furniture is old and tired, so much so that the base is broken on one drawer and another seems warped in that it won't close. Rooms are smaller than expected although to be fair to the hotel, they clearly advertise the floor space on the website. Just feels small. balconies are really smal, u couldn't, comfortable, get a family of 4 around the table. Old twin beds in the main bedroom which sound like they have had better days. You need to pay for the safety deposit box, 30 euro deposit and over 2 euro a day rental. The sum of these parts measured against a 4grand plus holiday is, so far, not blowing me away.

Tourist Information

Weather

Corralejo enjoys year-round sunshine and very little rainfall. Average daytime temperatures vary between 16°C at the start of the year and 25°C during the peak months of July and August.

If that sounds a bit too hot, or if you're visiting with younger kids who are more sensitive to the sun, try taking a Corralejo holiday outside of peak time - perhaps in October or February when the island still enjoys mild weather of around 23° Celsius, so a tan is still possible! The island also receives mild north-easterly winds all year round, so you’ll receive a welcome breeze whatever time you visit. Take particular care during peak season, though, as the breeze can disguise the strength of the sun.

Jabs

As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
