Stayed here for 1 week, as part of a First Choice All Inclusive package. The hotel was ok, but nothing spectacular. Our room was clean but basic. The air con was completely ineffective, which meant our room was often hot. Not sure if this was isolated to a handful of rooms, or something which affected everyone. We resorted to keeping the balcony door open as much as possible. I've seen lots of complaints about the food, but to be honest, we enjoyed the food, and as someone who is Coeliac, I found the selection of food to be very good. The hotel also offered GF packed lunch options for the days we had booked trips, and GF toast/bread on request. The one issue I did have with the restaurant though, was the staff. A couple of the waitresses seemed particularly put out if you asked them for anything, such as could they replenish the clean glasses for the water dispenser, and found it too much of an ask to even crack a smile. There are 3 pools, and a wading pool, all of which were very clean. 2 are located on the ground level and 1 on the roof terrace. The roof terrace is by far quieter and an altogether nicer, calmer place to sun bathe, also giving you access to the 2 jacuzzis and small wading pool. If you wanted a good sun bed on the ground level though, you had to be up with the birds, as it seems the English have taken over the German stereotype and were up at the crack of dawn securing their beds with their towels. A practice not permitted by the hotel but nothing is done to enforce this rule. On one of the days which we had to be up super early for a trip, we saw people putting towels out before 8am and then heading off to have breakfast before returning later that morning. One thing I will say about the all inclusive, is when and where you can get service is very confusing. The bar in the reception area was often unmanned, and the main hotel bar have a rule whereby they'll only serve 2 drinks at a time, per person, and stops serving at 11pm! You can then switch to another onsite bar, which is open until 1-2am, however this is not included in the all inclusive. The hotel puts on an array of activities during the day time, although I personally never saw anyone doing the aqua fit or other activities. In fact the only thing I did see, was the first event of every day, which was the hotel dance. All the kids seemed to enjoy this, and even a couple of the parents too. The hotel also has an in house entertainments team, who do their best but reminded me of that episode of Only Fools and Horses when Rodney wins the holiday to Majorca. Our travel rep was lovely and very informative, through whom we booked some great trips. I would definitely recommend the Oby Catamaran half day trip with lunch, bottomless drinks, a go on the jet ski, and use of masks and snorkles included in the 49 euro price tag. And a trip to the Aqua Park is a must. We had a great day going round and round on the water slides. Your stay comes with a few optional extras. Wifi isn't included in your stay but is available to purchase if you don't have a roaming data plan with your mobile provider. You can also pay to activate the tv in your room, which requires a refundable deposit for the remote. Your room comes equipped with a safe, but once again you have to pay at reception, to use it. The hotel is in a great location, with only a 5-10min walk to the beach, and nearby coastal walks where you can observe and if you're lucky feed, the local wild chipmunks. Ultimately, whether you like this hotel or not, largely depends on what type of holiday you're looking for. This was an eye opener for me, as I've never been Fuerteventura before, but whereas I'd happily return there again, I probably wouldn't go all inclusive. Food and (local) drinks were amazing value, with a substantial nicoise salad and dbl vodka and coke costing the equivalent of approx £6! A dbl vodka and coke, using local spirits, cost 4 euros. The key is to buy local and not imported.

If you have high standards and looking to really invest in your holiday then forget this one. Its not for you. If like me you just want a week away to chill, sunbathe, and do very little and the kids are just happy making friends and playing in the pool then could be for you. We stayed between 22nd July - 29th July 2015 and although initially was disappointed with the venue it was clean. The food is very basic and bland but theres plenty. Snacks consist of pizza bits, hot dogs etc. The evening entertainment is dreadful. Very cheesy and quite frankly not worth my time but i was there with my 6 year old and i forced myself to sit through some for him. I think its disgraceful the hotel do not have parasols and that you have to supply your own especially as irs a family hotel and with the heat and sun. TV you also have to pay for if its required and also theres no wi-fi. The staff work hard but look pretty miserable most of the time which can be quite off-putting. Overall it was not to my liking and thats just a personal thing. Its not a hotel i would re-visit but i also would'nt slate it either. Its very much a personal preference. The beach is a 5 minute walk away and is lovely. Various shops inc nearby police station and british run clinics (so it says) Would happily re-vist the location but would stay at another venue.

Came back from a week at this hotel a couple of days ago. Two adults and three kids 8-15 years. Returned to island after a great holiday last year at a different hotel. Hotel is very clean and staff great, food good with lots of choice....even for my kids. Queues a bit much at some times, with the usual ones that think it is OK to push in and out of the queue for the bits they want. Always somewhere to sit. A few moans, partly doing a review so Hotel can improve for guests next year! Kids evening entertainment disappearred halfway through holiday with no mini disco? This is a must and partly why we booked so the kids are entertained! Sun beds (all of them) need replacing as tired and sagging so you end up lying on strutts (even kids complained of pain in backs!) Dining hall always runnning out of glasses, cups, plates and bowls....kids ended up eating ice cream off plates? One pudding dish had sharp glass chips around edge? Half way through holiday second pools filter broke meaning a tempting hose for the kids to play with was constantly topping pool up. Biggest gripe.....sunbeds! Hotel boasts in welcome leaflet sunbeds CANNOT be reserved and towels are removed if left unattended for 30 minutes! This does not happen....if you are not up by 0800 hrs forget it! There is the usual sea of endless towels taking up beds and sunspots. The beds do run out and families to leave them unattended for hours on end? No brollies ATALL, but you can buy one at local shop for around 11 euros which is a must for kids in heat! Lifegaurd also disappearred last day which resulted in a maintenance man sitting on a stool. Read and agree with a previous review about some less favourable guests....particularly groups of teenagers hanging around together. Some guests also had no air con for the whole two weeks of their stay. Reception stating they were aware and waiting for maintenance....for the whole stay? Could be a great hotel, needs to smarten up and take control a little on policies and entertainment for families. Probably would not return at the price we paid over £2.5k for a week all inclusive for 5 people?
