Stayed here in January as a family of 5 with 3 young toddlers, would no way recommend this hotel for young children or anyone else for that matter and is far from a 3* barely a 2* hotel. When booking our main request was good nightly entertainment fir the whole family, the entertainment was shocking and when it did finally start at 9:30pm!! Far to late for young children it was then just old people singing karaoke, not my idea of entertainment. The food was shocking and the children's choice was literally chips every meal and that's it, we only had the misfortune of staying for 2 nights and then paid to move somewhere they was an actual 3*, the time we spent here we ate out every meal. We had our double pushchair with us that is the same width as any standard door yet we had to fight everything e to get in/out of any doors/lifts. The brochure stated the new rooftop pool and bar and due to the pools always being in the shade we tried to venture up And hopefully get some sunshine, when asking for directions we were then informed at reception that children are not allowed up to the rooftop area, no where is this stated in the brochure (but thomas cook do not think this should be stated and as a customer you should check before going!!). The brochure also advised of a new bar in the hotel which I must say looked like the nicest thing there, and they actually gave proper glasses out rather than plastic cups, again what the brochure doesn't state is that this is not included and is chargeable! We spoke to the thomas cook rep Kristoff and I can safely say he us the rudest mist obnoxious person I have had the miss pleasure of dealing with, when talking he could barely look at you and spent most of the time looking round the hotel, after no assistance from thomas cook we had to re-book another hotel and check out alone. As I said avoid like the plague!! Anyone who has stayed here and enjoyed it must have very low expectations and not use to travelling abroad and staying in all inclusive resorts. After an utterly terrible start to our holiday we have contacted thomas cook to try and get the remaining nights of the unused hotel refunded and they have refused, be very wary travelling with thomas cook as when you need them to help they are very unwilling.

Stayed here all inclusive for one week!! Was in an ideal location beach was walking distance and outside bars, restaurants, shops and amenities only walking distance the food was average nothing really awful about the food to complain about only real issue I had was the room cleaning service our room was left for a few days untouched but I went and asked for sheets to be changed and they were very happy to help. Did not spend much time by the pool as we were out most days exploring fuertaventura would probably book again but I like to try new places one of our best experiences was feeding the chipmunks living just nearby the hotel

Just got back from a week staying at the Costa de Caleta on 18th April 2015. It was a lovely hotel very clean and friendly my only downside was that the jacuzis and pools were freezing, I think the jacuzis should be heated this time of year. It is situated close to the beach and bars and lovely restaurants near by. The bar that is open after the all inclusive closes 'The Goa Bar' is lovely, I would highly recommend going there the drinks there are inexpensive and the barman Antonio is very friendly and helpful.
