Obzor Beach Resort

Overview

Obzor Beach brings all the convenience of a resort, with the privacy of your own apartment, and it's right on the sand! It's a huge place, made up of seven buildings (that means lots of pools to choose from) and it has three restaurants on site, plus a shuttle bus to the nearby town if you want even more choice. Personally, we'd be sitting on the apartment balcony with a pre-dinner drink before heading to the steak house... de-lish!

• Approximately 1 hour's drive from Varna Airport in one direction and the same distance from Burgas Airport in the other direction, so take your pick!

• Shuttle bus (extra charge) from the hotel to the centre for shopping, exploring or grabbing a bite to eat in the bars and restaurants

Food & Drink

• Castello - the main buffet restaurant, located in D block, which serves up brekky, lunch and dinner with a sea view. There's themed evenings three times a week, so expect Mediterranean, Bulgarian and Italian dishes

• Paralia - this Steak House is located in the A block and gives rustic vibes with a menu of fancy dishes like Chicago beef, duck fillet and lamb chops. There's pizza, too, if you want to stick to something simple

• Tropicana - beachfront BBQ restaurant serving grilled dishes, tasty fries and cold beer. You'll find it at the C block!

• Pool Bar - located at the A block, in between the pool and the beach (just how we like it) , mixing up cocktails with little umbrellas in them. If that doesn't scream holiday, we don't know what does. Grab a drink or snack, then sit and sip on the sun terrace

Sports & Entertainment

• FIVE outdoor swimming pools across the resort, plus FOUR kids' pools!

• A mini club, two playgrounds and a mini disco 6 days a week - the kids are sorted

• Other kids' facilities like free highchairs in the restaurants, or rent a cot, buggy or highchair for your apartment

• Evening entertainment with dance shows, folk music and loads more

• Table tennis, darts, beach volleyball, outdoor chess and shuffleboard - you could have a whole family sports day
