We have just returned from a five day recharge at Valentin star.😎😎 We discovered this paradise oasis last year and enjoyed it so much that we had to share it with our friends. Six of us arrived on 19/6/15 and chilled in the sun and partied at night. What we like about it is everyone is so friendly. Staff throughout are exceptional. Food takes some beating . We were spoilt for choice and even catered for gluten free which was appreciated by one of our party. Drinks in hotel are comparable with outside in resort and are better quality and bigger measures. Look out for David and Edison they will keep you well oiled. The evening entertainment is top class and you can choose from outside hotel on the marina ( terrace belongs to hotel but open to all). The better acts are inside hotel and exclusive to guests. Entertainment staff are good and you can do as much or as little as you want. Aqua yoga is quite relaxing , then aqua aerobics followed by water volley ball. My favourite activity was lying on the sun lounger😜😜😜 hard work. On a more serious note adult only and good public transport available if you want to adventure out. Suitable for all ages who want to relax and chill out. Thank you all at Valentin star for making this another successful visit. We will be back. 😎🍴🍸🎈🍸😎🍴🍸🎈 Best wishes Julie minton

Booked this hotel to have a bit of luxury and to give my Hubby the independence he needed whilst using his wheelchair. Upon arrival, our room wasn't ready so we had a drink in the pool bar and were given our room within about 30 mins. No hardship sitting having a drink in the sunshine! Our allocated room was as far from reception and the front door as could be possible - and it is a long walk (esp pushing the wheelie). However, one of the receptionists told us that there was another door (& lift) to access the pool and restaurant at the end of our corridor and as we used these areas the most we made the most of it. Fab ramp to the front door and to the restaurant. The main ramp to the pool was too steep and round a corner to be safe for a wheelchair user without a carer but we just ignored this ramp, unless someone was with Hubby. Reception staff superb - even finding replacement nuts for the wheelie when 2 fell off. Restaurant staff also friendly and efficient. The only downside for me was the evening meal. I am not a big meat eater so there were a few nights I didn't find much I wanted to eat. However, the rest of my group were more than happy with the variety and standard of food. Breakfasts were fab. The pool and surrounding area were always clean and tidy. The Hotel poolbar was a little on the expensive side but it's your choice whether to eat there or not. We had a lovely holiday.

Here with my daughter for her 21st birthday and it hasnt disappointed... The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff are all very friendly and the food is lovely (coming off a very fussy eater like me that is very high praise). Some rooms have better balconies than others, but that is the case in most hotels and when I come back (which Im already looking to book) I will maybe pay a little more for a nicer balcony but for the time we spend on it, the small balcony we have is fine.. Breakfast and evening meal really does cater for everyone, the choices and amounts are plentiful, with masses of healthy salads and fruit available... The area has made our holiday, the Marina is surroubded by shops, bars andcrestraunts, which are all reasonably priced... Cocktails around €6 and weve just come back from the Shanghai restraunt where we had a beautiful 3 course meal for €7.95 which is unbelievable considering the quality of their food and service.. Plenty of sunbeds but if they have gone then dont worry, there are veranda's and gardens with lots of cushioned rocking chairs with umbrellas and tables which are a lot more comfortable than the loungers... I would highly reccomend this hotelto any adult age group .... 5 stars all round...

we have recently come back from staying here for 11 days we have had a brilliant time the room with pool view was great, the room was nice and big plenty of room, the staff were brilliant, polite and very friendly and most spoke at least three or four languages. we have never had such good food with plenty of variety and the desserts were great, that's what I like best. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay The place it self is lovely. There is a beach near by if you want to use that, there is plenty of places to eat and drink and you can look at the boats while you do it .We wished we had stayed longer but next time we will and we can't wait to come back again.
You'll enjoy the very best of a Mediterranean summer if you choose to take you Cala n Bosch holidays in the peak months of July and August. Temperatures then are a sizzling 30° Celsius during the day and around 24 at night, so you're guaranteed lots of fun in the sun! If you're not looking at a summer holiday, how about enjoying the charms of Cala n Bosch in September or October?
Outside of peak months the crowds will be less evident, but the weather will still be wonderfully warm at an average of around 23° Celsius, so you'll still be able to spend plenty of time on the beach. Whatever time you visit though, make sure to watch out for the green flag on the beach to enjoy a safe and pleasant day out.
