Arrived here at 5.20 am on the 29th of August only to be told by the night porter that we could not have our rooms until 2.00pm. I explained to him I had booked a 5.00 to 6.00am book in and showed him my email confirmation. He then showed us to 2 rooms. We were travelling with a 3 month old and a 1 year old so I was grateful that this porter had sorted us out. The rooms did not have the cots in that I had paid for but I was told that we would get them the following morning. This meant I had to make up a bed for my 3 month old son on the floor. When we woke a fee hrs later both my son and I had ants all over us. I went to reception to complain. At the reception I was greeted by a lady who said "oh you are the people that came a day early" Clearly I had booked for the 29th and arrived on the 29th. She then went on to tell me that they were charging me an extra nights accommodation! If I wanted cots I would have to pay an extra 25 euros a day. Hold on I had paid for 4 adults and 2 children, yet the children had nowhere to sleep! Our debate about me arriving "a day early carried on for a few minutes, until I realised this aparthotel is an unprofessional shambles. We are now on day 3. My 3 month old now sleeps on the settee and I sleep on the floor. We are full of ant bites. Everyday people are arguing at the desk for them charging them again for things they ave paid for. Yesterday a woman had booked to rooms to sleep 6 and they have given her one big room. The lady on reception is rude and arrogant and has no problem speaking English until you get the train El agent on the phone, she suddenly has a communication break down. This is to deter you from carrying on your complaint. They also leave you a food box, tucked in side is a piece of paper and on it, it tells you that you will be charged over 30 euros for the box. I would not stay here again if I was given it free.

We arrived at lunch time and luckily the room was ready. We had a studio with an amazing sea view on the 5th floor.Room was clean and comfortable with fridge, toaster and kettle. Room had ceiling fan which we had on all the time and had the patio doors open especially at night as was very hot with them closed. We had a problem with the safe on arrival which was quickly sorted by the maintenance man. Didn't really use the hotel much so can't comment on food, we had one drink but was always out and about. We briefly saw the entertainment which looked ok and the pool area was quiet busy and too many children for us so we did use the beach every day as it's right on your doorstep. Location of hotel was fantastic near plenty of bars and restaurants ( mamma mia, uep, bibabo, Es mollet onkel willies to name a few that are definatley worth trying. The beach was lovely sand, and the sea nice and warm with a few waves at times, sunbeds 4.20 euros each and umbrella 4.20 euros can get busy later on in the day. Small harbour just further up and follow the path brings you to mamma mia's. Keep following the coastal path will take you to lovely views but not much there more residential area but great for photo's. We were there for festival time so loads going, plenty of eating places, bars and shops but if you want more bypass Sa Coma as not much there and carry on to Cala Millor which then links into Cala Bona lots more going on. All in all i would recommend hotel as best location for everything and the view so worth it (front view).

just returned from a family holiday to these apartments, the location is 1st class sat just 50 metres from the beach and a stones throw from the main drag of this quiet resort. the apartments themselves are nothing special, they look like they were built in the seventies and probably could do with an upgrade, the rooms that have the wonderful see and resort view don't have air conditioning which left some holidaymakers having to leave their doors ajar to get some air flow.the rooms at the back have a bland view over waste land but have the air conditioning which was a god send in the hot afternoon sun which bakes the rooms. the air conditioning is extra though (35 euros a week). we requested an early check in as we were coming in on an early flight, but didn't get one,so we had to sit in reception for a couple of hours waiting for our room. we also requested a high level room but didn't get that either being given a room on the 1st floor. wi fi is another additional charge i think it was 15 euros although all the eateries we visited offered it free. on arrival there is a welcome pack of essentials they think you may want which was about 30 euros inc a couple of beers, cokes, washing up liquid, sponge etc. don't be fooled by the pictures of the pool as it is not as big as it looks although it was adequate most of the time, some days it did become a little overcrowded at times. the bar closes around midnight and the accomadation goes quiet and we didn't hear any noise or disturbance. the evening entertainment that we did see is typical of most. we didn't eat at the restaraunt so are unable to comment on the quality of the food. overall it is what you would expect from a low budget holiday apartment complex, no frills but clean and tidy. the resort of s'illot is a lovely resort with enough eateries to give a good choice with the nearby resort of sa coma a 5 minute walk to extend the choice. i would return to this resort but may be pay a bit more and stay somewhere else.

We had a lovely few days in these apartments and got the sea view which was a must. S'illot is a lovely chilled place and would recommend it for complete relaxation. Gorgeous beach just across bridge. Some great cafes in area too with lovely staff. There was no forcing you to look at menu's etc. perfect. This is a great place to visit if you are alone and want to chill with a book on the beach. Room was basic and had no air con but you can rent a fan. Reception staff lovely. A trip to Porto Cristo is a must. So lovely and only 5 mins away. Also a long way from the airport so pre book a transfer.
