Overview

Alua Boccaccio is located next to Lake Esperanza (hello lake views) in Alcudia on the island of Majorca in the Balearics. Alcudia is an excellent choice for families and couples looking for a lively atmosphere and everything at your doorstep.

How far is the nearest beach?

Alcudia beach is only 150 metres from the Alua Boccaccio, you're basically On The Beach (just the way we like it).

Distance from Airport

This 4 star Majorca hotel is around 40 miles from Palma airport, which means that it should take around 50 minutes to transfer to the hotel in Alcudia.

Rooms

Alua Boccaccio has 272 guest rooms. Each room is equipped with two single beds, or a double bed, an ensuite bathroom, a telephone, satellite TV, a fridge, free Wi-Fi, a hire safe (extra charge), air conditioning and a balcony. Many rooms come with fantastic views of Lake Esperanza.

Food & Drink

Terra Restaurant is a buffet-style restaurant serving local and international dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are also themed corners including Spanish, Asian and Italian, and a snack buffet (for All-Inclusive guests) which is open from 10:00 - 19:00 each day.

Agua Bar offers a selection of drinks and evening entertainment. There's also Fresco Pool Bar, the Areca Beach Bar (enjoy drinks with the sand between your toes) and La Luna Bar all serving a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, snacks and chilled-out music. For sweet treats and a caffeine fix, the Gelateria offers a selection of ice cream.

Sports & Entertainment

Facilities include two swimming pools, a children's one, and the larger adults-only one surrounded by a sun terrace with loungers. Not only do our younger guests have their own pool, but the ever popular kids' club provides a host of fun activities for them (and buys you some time to enjoy that book / cocktail).

For the active guests, there's a gym, pool activities like water polo, and multisport facilities (including Yoga, Table Tennis, Archery & Petanque).

There is also a full program of entertainment, including evening shows and live music performances.

With so much going on, you will hardly need to leave, but if you do want to at any time, the reception is avaliable 24-hours a day and can help you book taxis to check out the nightlife outside the resort, something that's famously a memorable part of so many holidays to Majorca.

Majorca offers long sandy beaches, plenty of water sports to try, hidden coves to discover and bustling beach resorts with water parks and theme parks – which the kids will love. If you’re after a bit of culture on your holidays to Alcudia, there are ancient inland villages to explore, Roman ruins and beautiful cities steeped in history to see.
