My stay at hotel teix was brilliant with three trips to magaluf in the bag this year the week I spent at the teix was a great end to the year. The staff at this place a superb alex and paco being my favourites so friendly and a great laugh with the occasional free drink from paco at the bar, the pool a great place to recover from the night before with the sun there from the crack of dawn until 6pm with great music on all day serving basic snacks like paninis throughout the day. Rooms very basic and most defiantly for the life and soul part goers of magaluf not for family's and elder chilled out people. I've come from this hotel with life long friends we met here I would recommend the place and I'm already booking again for 2015 with friends I met here this year

Stayed here in August 2014, went with 4 other girls for a week of drinking, partying and generally having a good time. First arrived and our room was not ready as check in was at 2pm, man on reception let us change and store our bags in the store room which was like an oven. came back to check in and were given a room on the second floor, a 2 room and a 3 room knocked together, 1 bathroom. Standard room with storage and dressing table, unpacked a little and then went to the beach for a while. Upon return we found that our room was swarming with ants. they were everywhere! after a quick complaint at reception they immediately moved us to a room of a similar layout but on the third floor and apologized for the inconvenience, this room was much nicer, bigger, cleaner, generally higher quality (I would suggest requesting 3rd floor if you can). we paid £350 with flights included and despite earlier issues, remainder of stay was fine, met some rowdy italians that were a lot of fun even if the only words they could say in english were 'sex'. FAN IS ESSENTIAL you have to pay for it but there is no air con so if you're willing to pay for a fan then do it, you wont regret it. Maid comes every other day, and they WILL come in, whether you are in bed or in the shower, they wont come back later. Be sure to ask for extra towels as they forget to give new ones sometimes, i was reduced to using a hand towel after my shower. Strip is less than a 2 minute walk away, would recommend Alex's bar for pre's. All in all cant fault it, you get what you pay for and tbh not much time is spent in your room anyway, Julian on reception is fab and a great laugh (though he may not know it) i would recommend this place to my mates if you wanna meet nice people and have fun, I would 100% return there!

Firstly let me start with this is not a five star hotel.. You get what you pay for.. It is a lads/lasses hotel.. You'd be mad to take your family there. Let's start with the positives.. Tiex is the best possible location it can be.. 30 second walk to the beach (which is beautiful) & 2 minute walk to the strip. Straight across from eastenders bar which do cheap breakfasts to cure your hangover in the morning! Rooms are pleasant.. As from other reviews you may gather there is no air con but we coped with balcony door open! The pool area is nice with good music playing.. Lovely atmosphere and we always got a sunbed. You have to have their drinks but they aren't badly priced at all and the bar man is lovely! I slept like a baby at night no problems with noise ect beds are comfy! You can also rent a safe for money ect but I wouldn't bother I always felt safe at teix. The only bad things are it could do with an refurb but who really cares if you're on a lads/lasses holiday you ain't gonna spend it in your hotel room are you. They could do with aircon. And rooms wernt cleaned everyday.. We asked for towels one day. As for prostitutes we had no problems but we were a bunch of girls.. We only ever saw one and if you're a bunch oflads just walk on the opposite side of the road and she won't bother you. if you're going on a lads/lasses holiday.. BCM is a must we saw DJ fresh it was amazing and free drinks. Bar crawls aren't worth the money.. Just follow them like we did haha. Capital bar on the strip does unlimited drinking for 5€ for an hour :) If I was to come to magaluf again (which I wouldn't) I'd go Ibiza as it is MUCH better! I'd definatly stay at hotel teix. Maga is full of hen does and stag does.. 16 year olds.. I'd reconsider destination if it's your first friends holiday as Ibiza has better, bigger clubs and a better strip. :) As for hotel - I'd go again As for maga - didn't live up to my expectations

Hotel teix is not not perfect, there are problems, the staff are lovely! the room it self is very basic there is a bed and a shower that falls down sometimes! its isnt that clean but we hardly in the room, we went to magaluf for the closing partys the strip is like 2 min walk!! shops and lots of places to eat around, the cleaners come in the room and clean even when your asleep! you have to ask for clean towels ect. we paid hardly nothing for the room so i am happy for what we got! this hotel isnt for familys. for young people having a good time! there is open wifi outside our hotel. i would come back to this hotel for sure!
As expected in Majorca, the summer months are the best but are also the busiest. The temperatures usually reach their zenith above 30° Celsius, whereas temperatures in the autumn and winter months are typically half that. Bring suitable clothing in the winter, just in case there is some unexpected rainfall or a cloudy day. If you are going on holidays to Magaluf in July or August make sure you pack plenty of sun scream!
