Got a jolly coming up? Well, the only thing better than actually being on holiday is having one to look forward to. Are we right, or are we right?
We're an online-only bunch, so we don't have reps out in resort, but we're only ever a phone call away if you need us. We've also packed your My Bookings account with handy info and FAQs if you're unsure of anything, because your safety is ALWAYS our number one priority.
That being said, we know the lead-up to a holiday can come with some questions and uncertainties, so we've pulled together a few top tips and resources to help you make the most of your trip (and stay safe while you're at it). Have a nosy below:
Getting in touch while you're away
Getting in touch while you're away
We’re an online tour operator (OTA) — which is just a fancy way of saying we’re your digital travel experts, here to help from the comfort of your screen rather than a high street shop.
That means we don’t have reps in resort, but we’re still here for you 24/7.
If you're currently in resort, the quickest way to reach us is via WhatsApp. It’s fast, easy, and lets you chat with our team while you're on the go. Simply log in to your My Bookingaccount, head to ‘Help and Support’, and tap the link to start chatting.
Prefer to call? You can also reach our in-resort team on +44 (0) 333 003 1934. Just have your 8-digit MYB reference and 6-digit departure date ready.
If the line is busy, leave us a message and we’ll call you back as soon as possible.
For general queries before or after your trip, the best way to contact us is via LiveChat:
You can find further holiday help with tons of questions on our HelpCentre. Plus, your My Bookings account is also packed with helpful info about your hotel, transfers, and FAQs — so it’s worth checking these hot spots first!
Booking excursions with peace of mind
Booking excursions with peace of mind
Excursions are the perfect way to spice up your jolly - from museum trips and guided tours to action-packed waterpark visits. To make sure you have a blast and stay safe, we recommend always booking through a reputable provider. Thankfully, our trusted pals over at Musement have got a ton of activity options for you to explore. Simply log in to your My Bookings account or have a peek at what's in store on their website (link at bottom of page).
Psst! Remember that excursions booked through independent tour guides are at your own risk. Always be smart, do your research, and choose operators with tip-top reviews and verified credentials.
Finding local travel advice in emergencies
Finding local travel advice in emergencies
We're always going to hope you don't need this, but for your own peace of mind, here's how to be prepared, should you need anything.
In case of emergencies such as natural disasters or security issues:
Always refer to the latest advice on the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) website (link at bottom of page). We'll do our best to pass this information on to you, but if you're feeling anxious in the meantime, we recommend going direct to the source. These guys know what they're talking about, and they'll coordinate directly with your hotel to keep you safe.
Our team will contact you - either via email, text or phone call to offer support. Please keep your phone charged and accessible so we can keep in touch and make sure you're alright.
Getting home when your flight is delayed or cancelled
Getting home when your flight is delayed or cancelled
Unfortunately, sometimes, disruptions happen, and flights can be cancelled or delayed. If you're in resort and your flight home is affected, try not to worry. The best way to get updates is by going directly to your airline's website or app. We'll always do our best to pass this information on to you, but we know these times can be stressful, so we recommend going direct to the source for peace of mind until we're able to reach out to you.
If your flight is cancelled, the airline is legally responsible for rearranging a new flight home for you, as well as covering any reasonable costs involved - including accommodation and food.
Don't worry, our team will be in touch to support you and answer any questions you might have.
Staying covered with travel insurance
Staying covered with travel insurance
We of course hope (and will do everything we can to make sure) that your jolly goes without a hitch, but sometimes things happen that are out of your - and our - control. That's why we always recommend taking out travel insurance before you jet off, because it protects you just in case anything doesn't go to plan on your holiday.
You can buy travel insurance anytime up until the day before you travel, either directly through us, or through another reputable provider. You can click the link at the bottom of this page to get a travel insurance quote from us.
If you do find yourself in a situation where you need to use your travel insurance, then we recommend getting in touch with your insurance provider directly as soon as you can. We'll always do what we can to help, but these guys are the experts and will be able to offer you the most valuable advice and support when you need it.
Health and safety advice
Health and safety advice
We get it. Nothing kills the holiday mood like chatting health and safety, but it's gotta be done. Luckily, we've condensed ALL of our knowledge into a few quickfire tips below:
1. Stay hydrated
Make sure you're drinking plenty of water, especially in particularly hot climates.
2. Protect yourself
SPF, sunglasses, hats - the lot. It might not seem like the most aesthetic outfit combo, but it's the best way to stay cool and protected (as well as taking time in the shade). Don't forget your insect repellent, too, if you're prone to mozzie bites.
3. Respect local etiquette
We're talking less about how you hold your knife and fork, and more about respecting local customs - like dress codes and public behaviours - especially in religious areas, or at cultural landmarks.
4. Keep your belongings safe
Keep your valuables with you at all times, and it never hurts to be generally mindful of your surroundings.
5. Take necessary health precautions
Read up on any health advice or vaccinations you might need before visiting your chosen destination, and be sure to take a basic first-aid kit and any necessary medication on holiday with you.
6. Buy travel insurance
It might not be very living on the edge, but it's generally cheap - and you never know when you'll need it. We always recommend having comprehensive travel insurance to cover things like medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and other unexpected events.
