🗓 When to visit Gumbet
June to September (Peak season perfection) - There's a reason this is the most popular time! Guaranteed sunshine with temperatures hitting 28-32°C, barely a cloud in the sky July-August. Every facility's open and buzzing - water sports centres, beach clubs, Bar Street partying till dawn every night. The beaches will be busiest and prices reflect the popularity, so book early for best choice of hotels. June and September are slightly cooler at 25-28°C, perfect if you want full holiday atmosphere without quite as much heat.
April to May, October (Brilliant value) - Proper good shoulder season without sacrificing sunshine. April-May climb to comfortable 20-24°C, lovely for exploring Bodrum's historic sites. Sea warms up gradually, gorgeous by late May. October still hits 22-26°C with seawater that's retained all that summer warmth. Hotels offer better rates, and most restaurants, bars, and water sports stay fully operational. Slightly more relaxed crowd compared to peak summer party vibes.
November to March (Off-season) - Resort basically hibernates. Many hotels, restaurants, and bars close for winter. Temperatures drop to 10-15°C - pleasant for walking but too cool for beach days, definitely too cold for swimming. Only recommended if you're exploring the Bodrum Peninsula's cultural attractions without crowds. Limited facilities and some rainy days, especially December-January. If you want beach, nightlife, and full resort experience, save Gumbet for warmer months.
