When you book a package holiday with On the Beach, and your flight is cancelled or rescheduled by 12 hours or more, we’ll give you a full refund on the same day*.

That’s your flight, hotel and any extras, all refunded on the same day*.

In the event an alternative flight is available, we'll find you the next best flight. However, when there isn't one or if you'd prefer, be assured that On the Beach has your back with a same day refund.

Why we’re doing it?

If your flight’s cancelled, package holiday rules say you’re due a full refund. Holiday companies can make you wait 14 days for it. Fourteen days!

We think that’s proper nonsense. So be a smart booker and with On the Beach you'll get your cash back the very same day. Lovely bit of peace of mind for a summer that could see more cancellations than usual.

Simple really.

If your flights gets cancelled and we can’t get you rebooked on another flight that suits or you prefer a refund, you’ll get all your money back on the same day you cancel.

*Refund will be given from the moment you accept your cancellation from On the Beach. On the Beach will process on the same day. If you don’t come back to On the Beach within 72 hours, we’ll cancel your holiday automatically and process the same day refund. Please note some banks may take up to 5 days for it to appear. A full package refund does not apply to holidays with split flights (on different airlines). Refund will be the cost of your booking less any payments for ATOL protection, insurance or other non-refundable fees added since booking. Refunds will be made back to the card(s) used to pay.
