Hand luggage allowance:

All Ryanair flight bookings include a small personal bag (per person) which must fit under the seat in front of you.

If your hand luggage exceeds these dimensions, you’ll be charged an 'oversized cabin bag' fee at the boarding gate.

Hold luggage allowance:

If you selected to add a 'hold bag' when placing your booking, then the allowance is:

The baggage allowance can be shared with other passengers on your flight reservation. This means that if you have two hold luggage bags of 20kg on your booking, one bag could weigh 15kg and the other 25kg (totalling 40kg).

For health and safety reasons, an individual item should not weigh more than 32kg. This doesn't apply to mobility equipment.

All long haul Virgin Atlantic flight bookings include one piece of hand luggage per person.

Babies and toddlers aged 0-23 months are entitled to one hang luggage bag each, weighing up to 6kg.

Adults are also permitted to take a handbag, small backpack, pocketbook or purse in addition to the above hand luggage allowance.
