Late Holidays

There aren’t many things more exciting than doing something completely spontaneous, and one of the most spontaneous things you can do is book a last minute holiday. Late holidays give you an enormous sense of freedom. One minute you’re slogging away at the daily grind, dreaming about escaping to a beautiful sunny beach somewhere, the next minute it’s all booked and you’re digging out your bikinis from the bottom of the wardrobe!

Late holidays are the perfect remedy if you’re feeling blue, if you’re bored of work or feel like you’re stuck in a rut. Booking last minute holidays puts a spring in your step, lifts your mood and makes you feel revitalised, and that’s before you’ve even stepped onto the plane!

Obviously there are benefits to booking holidays early.. For a start you’ll get the cheapest price the earlier you book. And then there’s the holiday anticipation to get you through the months leading up to the main event. But don’t you find that waiting can sometimes get annoying? Booking late holidays mean you skip the waiting and get straight to the best bit – the holiday! And while early bookings equal cheap holidays, that’s not to say you won’t find very cheap last minute holidays online by booking late.

At On the Beach, you can find some amazing last minute holiday deals. With such a huge choice of flights and hotels, you’ll be spoilt for choice, but that’s hardly a bad thing when it comes to choosing cheap holidays! Last minute family holidays, late deals on couples holidays and romantic breaks, late holidays for friends... you name it, you’ll find it at On the Beach.

Late holidays or last minute holiday deals can mean anything from the next few days to two months away. A great tip for finding the cheapest possible late deals is to avoid weekend flights and, if possible, any school holiday periods (though we appreciate this might be tricky if you’re taking the kids away and don’t want them to miss school). Be realistic about prices. Although last minute holidays can often be considered huge bargains, you’re not likely to find a two week all inclusive holiday in the Caribbean for £200! Bear in mind that last minute holiday prices are usually dictated by the demand for seats, so the most popular holiday destinations will have sold out before they get a chance to become last minute, especially during peak season. If you do find a late holiday you like the look of which is within your budget, book it there and then to avoid missing out.
