Read more about this Hotel
This hotel's tucked away in Chelsea, and no, we don't mean the poncy side of London where that Made in... reality show started. We mean the fashion and art district in New York where all the galleries are. This hotel's as welcoming as they come, and we're not just talking about the big, comfy beds. It's got multilingual staff representing all 5 NYC boroughs, which means the hotel and its employees are all about welcoming everyone. Plus, it's within walking distance of some pretty iconic landmarks (like Madison Square Garden and the Empire State Building), and - while you might not be along the coast - you can still sample some pretty scrummy seafood in the on-site restaurant. Winning.
Times Square - just over a 20-minute walk away
Empire State Building (the very one that King Kong climbs up in the film...kinda) - a 10-minute walk away
Central Park - this one's a good 35-minute walk away, but you can do a few pretzel stops on the way, or hop in a cab if you'd rather be there in 10
John F. Kennedy International Airport - a 35-minute drive away
This hotel has more room types than New York has pizza places. Pretty much. Double Rooms, Queen Rooms, King Rooms, Townhouses, Family Suites and Lofts are among the list, all decked out with a bright and spacious interior and mahoosive windows. No dark and dingy city rooms here, thank you.
Every room type comes with...
TV with Chromecast
Coffee maker with capsules
Ironing facilities (crease-free 'fits, guaranteed)
Some room types also come with an extra bathroom and organic toiletries
The Studio with Terrace, Townhouse with Terrace and Family Loft room types all feature a terrace overlooking the midtown skyline - so you can enjoy your morning coffee with a city view
Food & Drink
The Wilson - delicious cocktails, signature seafood and veggie dishes by Executive Chef Jose Molina, all served in a cosy, twinkling atmosphere (you'll understand when you see the light fixtures). You won't regret ordering the fish tacos here (*chef's kiss*), and for dessert...the chocolate chip cookie skillet. Warm, gooey deliciousness served straight from the pan.
Sports & Entertainment
24-hour gym - if all those steps around the city aren't enough, you can hit the gym for a workout anytime you want. 3am? You do you. It's got spin bikes, yoga mats, free weights and BOSU balance trainers which we had to Google, but they look pretty cool.
Sightseeing - you're in the big city! Stick your comfy shoes on and get exploring. Thankfully, this place is close to the good stuff.
A service fee of $40 per room, per night + tax is payable locally, which includes access to facilities such as the fitness centre, high-speed internet, luggage storage, a Nespresso coffee machine, in-room minibar, and additional room comforts like bathrobes and slippers - plus more.
