Well where do I start, this was the third time here and never had any reason to complain as this hotel was great, we traveled out on 10th August for a week I was in contact by email with the hotel manager as this was my partners first time abroad and wanted to make it really special, I was asking for a nice room on the ground floor as she is registered blind but can still see a little, on arival at aprox 11.30pm we checked in and where shown to our room, on the first floor may I add the room was so small and dark and only one person could fit on the balcony at a time, we decided to leave it till morning and request a move, we woke the following morning only to see the room full of ants, I went straight and told reception and was told to come back at 3pm which I did and I was moved to a ground floor room at the back of the hotel it was a larger room but very dated and dull with a strong smell of sewerage we never complain but on waking the next morning the room had ants crawling over the dressing table and floor, I bought my own spray which seemed to deter them a little, now the food, it used to be great but now it seems to be all reused from the day before ie curry made from last nights meal ext we only had 2 meals their in a week and ended up eating across the road in the Olive Garden bearing in mind we payed £1350 for 1 week, I the time we where their we couldn't get a sun bed people where getting up at 4 in morning and putting towels down and even taken beds from the adult pool, I love this area but I have to say the ova has gone right down hill from a few years ago and I never complain but I feel I've been robed for this holiday which I saved really hard for, I will definitely not be returning to the ova. I must add while we where their 3 people came down with salmonella and 1 old man with a heart problem gastroenteritis everyone was very worried about him. I hope jet 2 read this as the chances are this is why thomas cook pulled out. I'm gutted. Enough said.

Firstly I would like to say This Hotel is Friendly Helpful and a defo thumbs up from me and my family. The first room was too small for my family of 4 but the next day we got moved to another room the staff couldn't do enough for you. we 100% loved our holiday and we are returning next year as we made friends not only with the staff but other holiday makers. The entertainment team was a good laugh considering they all work so hard they still come in smiling and making you all join in. There food was always hot and Tasty so gaining them few pounds are worth it. The restaurant is always spotless the staff there are like little whippets in and out clearing away and never forgetting the greeting on your way in.so all i have to say now is roll on 2016 =0))

We have just come back from a 11 night stay at ova resort hotel, sadly we won't be returning due to my husband being taken poorly and rushed to hospital with gastroentitis. The entertainment was not suitable for children, the entertainment team said if they wasn't going to get any participation in activities why should they bother coming to the hotel to do activities. Food was very basic not much choice for kids. Ice creams should have been available for longer. The swimming pool could have been a bit bigger for the amount of people staying at the hotel, there should have also been a lifeguard overseeing the water slide. When we arrived in the early hours there was no food we could get but we was told we could buy a takeaway but why should we have to buy a takeaway when we have paid for a all inclusive holiday

We arrived early hours of the morning to be taken up to the tiniest room for 4 people I have ever seen. There was a double bed and a single fold up bed pushed together with another fold up bed at the foot of the bed, you could not move. There was a tiny single wardrobe for 4 people and no balcony. My husband went back to reception to complain and we were told we would be moved the next day . The next room was a bit bigger with a larger wardrobe so we made do , but these rooms should NOT be sleeping 4 people and advertised as having balconies , you can fit one person on it and you have to squeeze around the door to get on it! . Room was clean and bathroom was nice and modern. Towels and bedding changed daily. Lighting was poor in room due to a bulb out also. Looking at the photos of the hotel the swimming pool looks far bigger than it actually is, it's far too small for the amount of people crammed around it , you can't swim and can't get a sunbed unless you get up at 6am ish! The bar lads do a good job collecting up drinks and keeping pool area tidy throughout the day . The games etc ran by the entertainment team are virtually non existent for kids, our 10 yr old had to play football with 3 yr olds and then when the 3 yr old gets hurt with the ball you have the parents complaining that they shouldn't be playing! That's the only game they can participate in all day. In other hotels there has always been pool games, volley ball etc but at this hotel it's for the adults only ( men) and nothing for the ladies like aqua aerobics or Pilates . Also the entertainment team need to provide their own inflatables for the pool games, as they ask people for rings etc and when they are broken they are not replaced leaving the kids upset . Evening entertainment was ok , but again not enough tables and chairs for the guests and bar closes promt at 11.00 pm without any warning while entertainment team are still playing music etc, most AI are until 12.00 . The restaurant is buzy , so better waiting until after 8.15 pm to eat, and usually have to get your own water / glasses and be careful that the cutlery hasn't been used as a couple of times it had but we noticed, the restaurant serves up a couple of main choices and usually chips and nuggets every night for kids, could do with alternatives maybe pizza or something different. Lunch time offered jacket potatoes which were a nice choice with fresh salads and cheese Ice creams served daily vanilla and chocolate , could do with a strawberry choice too ! Unfortunatly a guest was dishing out chips with his hands in the restaurant and this put me off eating them after him. The chips were not changed and after all the reports of tummy bugs , dystentry and salmonella from guests before we flew out, I thought this may have been a priority for the hotel. I was concerned travelling to this hotel reading all the reviews of tummy upsets and went into Thomas Cook the day before we flew and they didn't know anything about it , I did however get ill the last 4 days of my holiday with terrible stomach cramps and diarrhoea,Which I still have now so something is not right! The hotel is a good walk into Hisaranou , too far with small kids so usually had to get a taxi back, so I would prefer to stay further into Hisaranou next time. The Turkish bath was really nice and massage . In whole I would not come back to this hotel and was rather Disapointed but we made the best of the holiday and had a good time and made some good friends. We did a fab boat trip booked through Canadiana , trip to market , blue lagoon beach and Olu Deniz. We love this area of Turkey and we are returning next year but not to this hotel. There are a few improvements required and I am sure out of high season may/ June I would assume guests would have a much better experience. I don't think Thomas Cook should be selling these rooms to families and this should be looked at they were obviously built as a double room for 2 people .
