Firstly, I know this hotel is 3* and I did not go and expect 5* I know the difference. However lets move on, The hotel grounds are pretty the pool is clean and the atmosphere was nice. The rooms were...
This is a really nice hotel. As other reviewers say and I endorse, it is a well presented hotel in a very nice part of the city. The centre is fairly easy walking distance. The rooms are a good size and well equipped. The bathroom was excellent. Service from the reception desk was most warm and friendly. The only issue for us was the amazing loud noises from the plumbing system which we found very intrusive. I was woken by the room above taking a shower which sounded like the water was draining over my head. The toilet flushing was also very noisy. This was a shame as I have had to mark the rating down on this basis. The WIFI was also temporarily unavailable on the second floor during our stay.
This hotel is great for all ages, couples and families. I stayed as a family with my brother and parents we found that we all had something to enjoy there. There was a great slide that we all enjoyed...
This small hotel is absolutely lovely---and a real bargain! The room was not huge, but had a good amount of storage space, and was tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed (twins with a shared headboard). Our room had two charming, but small balconies---make that three, since the bathroom also had a tiny balcony! The bathroom was beautiful, with a bathtub equipped with a shower head that provided a very nice, strong spray. Wifi was excellent, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, plus eggs cooked as you like, with bacon or sausage. The man at the reception desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The parking situation, however, is not very good. The basement level space offered only enough spots for four cars with a very tight squeeze. Another reviewer said that they found parking on the street, but I saw no evidence at all of nearby street parking places. Other than the parking situation, the hotel is wonderful. I only wish we could have stayed more than one night...
I went here with my family, we had an amazing time! It was our first time in Turkey and we felt very welcomed here. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our room. The...
From the moment I checked in I was overwhelmed by the high level of service. The breakfast is superb with a fabulous buffet and hot dishes cooked to order, the rooms comfortable and well appointed. It would be a pleasure to stay at this hotel again.
Was not to sure about going 3star hotel ( but reading trip advisor ) we took the plunge! Firstly I must say on behalf of our party of 6 -- positive side - the small hotel was extremely clean & tidy...
We enjoyed two nights at the Hotel Alfonso II. We both felt like the establishment was more a private hotel or B&B, as there is no sense of it being big or having lots of guests. Our room was pleasant with all the conveniences and fixtures we needed. The hotel offered private parking, which is a great advantage when you are driving. Staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us good tips about places to visit and eat in. Breakfast was good without being extensive, but was served with great attention to our requests (the home made pancakes were sensational). The hotel is well placed as you can walk to all of Oviedo's sights. To sum up, this hotel offers friendly service, pleasant rooms, good position, all the conveniences required for an extremely well priced rate.
