Well what can I say... we booked so last minute and we had no idea at all what to expect. We took a chance on a 3 star place and all I can say is... who rated it?? Because I would definitely give it 4 stars. The place was immaculate, could see people cleaning/maintaining every day the gardens and pools kept so clean and tidy. The room was pretty basic but when it's such lovely communal space it really doesn't matter, all we did was sleep in there, and get ready!! The staff will bend over backwards to help you out, we arrived at 11pm and Jayjay the man, the myth, the legend (that never sleeps), ordered us in a kebab so we didn't have to leave the resort for refreshments at all. We had a Turkish bath within the hotel resort, and it was a fantastic experience which I would definitely recommend. The women were lovely and I felt like a new woman after the scrub down they gave me!! (It also helped me to tan better which is always a result). The food I loved personally. I can see why really fussy eaters (aka people who go to a foreign country expecting it to be all English food) would be disappointed but there was tonnes of choice! The waiting staff and chefs were all amazing and I cannot tell you how lovely it was to be cooked fresh omelettes or pancakes every morning. The food of Ova has inspired me, since I got back, I have been trying to recreate some of the dishes I tried there. They were very friendly and attentive. I'm sure I have missed out so many positives (The slide! The cocktails! The entertainment!) But I could be here all day. Best sun sea and sand holiday I have ever been on, and although we are totally adventurous so want to visit all around the world, we have said that we would love to come back to the Ova at some point. I really did feel like part of the family there :-) THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF AND MY FELLOW HOLIDAY GOERS FOR SUCH AN AMAZING EXPERIENCEXX

When we set off we weren't expecting much - with it being all inclusive we expected tacky entertainment, mediocre food and a basic room. We were wrong on pretty much every level - booking to go back next year as soon as we have the money. My first impression was a little ropey because the guy who helped with our bags stood staring at us for a good 10 mins, not saying a word. We eventually realised he wanted a tip, which we gave to him, but then when he came back later to drop a takeaway we'd ordered off, he did the same again even though we made it really clear to him that we were out of change. That put a bit of a sour note on the first night but it was a really inaccurate first impression. The staff at the resort are absolutely brilliant - JayJay's cocktail bar is great when you want to stay up for a bit after the main bar closes. He'll make pretty much anything you ask for and the atmosphere is really upbeat and cheerful. The chefs - especially Caesar - will absolutely bend over backwards to make sure you enjoy your food; I couldn't believe how good the food actually was, none of the nearby restaurants seemed half as good and the variety meant there was always something that even the pickiest eater could have. I've seen bad reviews of the food here and I find them really confusing. The menu changed every day and everything I tried was at a high standard. The only part I didn't enjoy was the desserts and that was just to do with personal taste. Hakan, one of the entertainers, has the patience of a Saint. He always has a smile on his face and seems full of energy regardless of how people treat him (for example someone threatened him because they didn't win at bingo and he still kept up a front and didn't rise to it). The bar staff are brilliant and we felt welcome from the first morning. Nothing is too much trouble and even the rude customers (saw the odd one here and there) get a smile. The entertainment on tue and wed was brilliant - acrobats on tue, fire show on wed. We went out on the other nights but the entertainment we actually caught was a lot better than I expected. The room was nice - the cleaners always went the extra mile (arranging bedding into fans, even sometimes leaving flowers) and everything was clean and well kept. We'll be straight back here next year, we met some amazing people and couldn't get enough of the feeling of community with staff and fellow customers. Can't recommend it enough!

Third time at ova resort. The hotel rooms are excellent and cleaned thoroughly. the bed is comfy. From the last 2 visits the food is a lot better and most of the staff are new and more friendly from previous visits. The new entertainment lads are a breath of fresh air from the last team. The entertainment at night is so much better. My last 2 visits i used to go out of the hotel. Because it was the same thing everynight and tedious. This time i only went out twice out of 15 nights stay at ova. So it shows you how much better it is now. The bar and kitchen staff have a good sense of humor and loved a laugh. The manager of the resort nihat was so helpful and a nice guy that will go out of his way to help as much as possible. The reception staff are welcoming when you book in and very helpful. The resort is clean and tidy and the views from your hotel room of the mountains are breath taking. I'll leave you with this if it's your first time at ova i can assure you you'll come back. :)

Stayed at this hotel as a couple for 10 days, food was lovely not much choice but we are both fussy eaters and always found something nice to eat. When we checked in we were put in a tiny loft room it was so small could just about fit our cases in! We requested to move rooms but as the hotel was full we had to wait 1 night to move. Other room was bigger balcony was tiny though. The hotel was mostly English people which we prefer but it was full of kids which is perfect for families, would definatly return if I had kids, entertainment was really good for them. Also drinks were good at pool bar.
