In life if you choose to look long enough and hard enough i am sure you will find something to dislike and i guess this hotel and all it has to offer is no different? did i have a few little niggles about this that and all the other ? yes i guess i did but overall this hotel, the hotel facilities , the staff , the food , the entertainment and location are absolutely first class and worthy of my five star award. From the moment we stepped out of our taxi at the mightily impressive entrance/lobby our pampering began we were greeted by a member of staff who carefully unloaded our luggage and placed them in an hold area ready for room delivery he then passed us onto our own personal check in girl who offered us food and drink whilst sitting with my family and i slowly explaining the logistics of the hotel and facilities. we were given a Gloria credit card which we were told to present each time we ordered food/drink each member of our family obtained a card. we were transported by golf buggy to our room which was over the far end of the resort in the family suites( we have older children but benefited from the extra room of the family suite which has a separate bedroom and own en-suite) as we had not eaten we ordered room service and it came piping hot within ten minutes. Adjacent to the family suites is a very nice pool and bar/restaurant where you could order breakfasts and snacks in all honesty we did not use this are as our children are 20 & 17 so we chose to use the main pools/beach areas during the day. Quite close to the family blocks is the entertainment arena, this is an awesome place to watch the shows, modern and comfy with a large capacity, the shows really are professional but not just the quality of the acts but the superb way in which they are presented by the Gloria staff in fact i would say they are more "events" than shows !! The footprint of the Gloria Golf Resort is huge so if like us you are based in the family blocks and choose to eat/drink at the main restaurants or hang out at the main pools or beach during the day the walk can become a little monotonous day in day out, that said "4444 does it all " pick the nearest phone up and call for a buggy lol Anything for your smile is the hotels rather apt tagline and i can honestly endorse the fact that my family and i were made to feel this way from the moment we arrived. At first i must confess i felt a little disapointed and dare i say a little frustrated at what seemed to me to be a mistake by a 5 star hotel to employ so many members of staff who speak not the best English shall we say, our orders were often misinterpreted and we regularly did not receive what we ordered if we received anything at all !! but i have to state that the staff are so keen to rectify any errors and are genuinely willing to help, having had a little niggle( in this review) i must commend the staff for providing a very good overall service. My praise of the staff does not stop at just the bar/restaurant staff it extends to the entire staff of the hotel in whatever capacity as they all work so hard. We found the food to be both plentiful and tasty, the two main buffet restaurants offered something for everyone's pallet and we had a couple of fantastic experiences whilst dining Ala Carte, and in particular the Italian being outstanding. Meals during the day where readily available at the beach restaurant and the two nearest the pool with the Gloria Pub being our favorite. we stuck mainly to the beach as we found the pool to be a little too shaded for our liking but the pool and the beach (especially the beach ) always had plenty of sun beds available although you had to be on the front foot to secure a bed on the pier. There was always something happening during the day or night and praise must go to the animation team who work tirelessly a special mention must go to Onur who was always full of life and really made our family feel welcome he genuinely seemed to enjoy his job and this shone through in his service. There is a fabulous waterpark on site but we were put off using it by the fact that unrest occurred when arguments broke out due to the fact that there is no where near enough rubber rings and certain guests would not share what few rings were available !! this is very disappointing as i read a review from a few years ago stating the same thing but it appears the hotel has done little about it ? The gardens are very special and are kept in pristine condition as are all the communal areas, this is a spotless hotel. Overall this hotel offers , excellent service, fabulous quality entertainment, delicious food and drink in a great location and an overwhelming willingness to do ; ANYTHING FOR YOUR SMILE !!

This hotel was wonderful the staff pleasant and very accommodating . The room great mini bar stocked daily and lots of little perks. The food was outstanding well presented but the buffet was very busy especially with young kids . All the drinks were top shelf and waiter service excellent. The Gloria pub food was great except every time we ordered food the waitress would take the order and the food would be served by other members of staff and never did we get the food in the correct order or at the same time. Main course before starter that kind of thing . The sushi bar was brill . I was a bit disappointed about booking the al a carte restaurants guest services told us you could only book them two days in advance and best be at the desk for 8.00 in the morning to get a booking well on holiday that wasn't going to happen . The cake and chocolate area was the best I have ever encountered the pastry chef certainly new their stuff Just wonderful . Kids areas all looked fab and the water slides were excellent . The concerts on t he beach were excellent . The only grip i have about this hotel is the price of playing snooker and ten pin bowling is far to high . We paid £300.00 extra for our three sons to play a game of snooker and bowls at night for a ten day holiday just an expense that wasn't expected and probably put me off coming back to this otherwise fab hotel . P.s had a tour around the new Gloria Sports complex and hotel all I can say is omg what a place for sports events great. Great hotel food and service facilities wonderful shame about cost of snooker and bowling

We booked a week AI quite late in the day and paid a decent amount of money based on previous Tripadvisor reviews. We were not disappointed however all in all one of the best holidays we have had in recent years. The hotel was less than an hour from the airport. No wristbands - credit card used for AI guests, worked well. Accommodation- Garden room, a little dated but good air conditioning, plenty of hot water.... toiletries replenished daily and a mini bar restocked daily with a Toberone, branded spirits, beers, soft drinks and cola bottles - very good. Hotel - very clean, staff very friendly and professional, lots of space, spa good but a little expensive, good gym, tennis, clean pools, waterpark - there seemed to be a lot of Russian guests, probably followed by British Food & Drink - very very good, with plenty of variety. Book the a la carte restaurants early, Italian, International and Fish broke the week up nicely. Great pasta and indian show cooking areas. Drinks are all branded, with plenty of choice, great cocktails and plenty of wine selection. There was also a Turkish, Fish and Pub, for great lunches as well as the normal buffet areas. Tip - order your starters first then your mains - service was a little sporadic, this avoids your food all turning up at once. Entertainment - good facilities, excellent shows and it would be a good resort for teenagers. I had golf lessons at the Gloria Golf Club, very attentive and great facilities. My partner attended enjoyed pilates classes. Free wi-fi was available throughout the resort, even on the pier which is a great area to chill out, dive into the sea and cool down in the sea breeze. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and it appears many guests return year on year.

Just back from two weeks with 6 year old twins. Stayed in family suites - pool view, upper floor. The Good Stuff Suite was excellent. Good size - large double room/living room with separate twin room for children. Two bathrooms - small , but fine. Definitely worth getting a pool view. Family suite area has its own swimming pool ...a lot less crowded and manic than the main hotel pools. Suite was cleaned everyday to a high standard by our very happy/smiley cleaner ( a rare gem at Gloria.....). Overall, the facilities are great - water-park, swimming pools, beach, pier, golf course - and especially the Gogi Fun Jungle ( free to family suite guests - and right next door, all brand new, excellent staff there)....children loved it...and made a load of friends. Golf course - superb condition, a good challenge from the back tees....good standard of hired clubs...all well priced. The Bad Stuff. Although the mini bar in your room is free and re-stocked daily - it is pointless....it never gets cold enough ! We reported this - only to be told it was working "normally" ! The only hotel I've ever stayed in - 5 star or not - that doesn't have an iron/ironing board....and they won't supply one ! Life Guards at the water park on their mobile phones constantly.... Food - the daily buffets quickly become repetitive.... We tried the A la carte restaurants (make sure you book by 8am 2 days in advance !) ...but found the food to be bland....presented well....but tasteless. Got the distinct feeling with the "International" restaurant that it was the same food from the buffet ....but just put on the plate by some-one else. All style and no substance. Other bars and restaurants ...once you eventually got the attention of a waiter ( the staff seem to have a knack of managing to avoid any eye contact - and are experts in blatantly ignoring the customer)...... I would say that we had a 50% chance of them bringing what we actually ordered. Indifference to the customer was often followed by bungling incompetence. Service was often downright surly. Sani this ain't ! Service was so bad on our last night - ( 1/2 hour wait for a bottle of white wine....only then to be bought a glass....then waiter couldn't open the bottle....and then it was warm....some food actually running out at 9pm ) - that I spent 10 minutes complaining to the duty manager ...along the lines of poor service being endemic within the hotel , no-one looks like they are managing anyone, a lot of staff don't seem bothered and some are downright rude. He assured me he would pass on the comments to the hotel manager, he took our room number and made a note of the fact we were leaving the next day. I declined his offer of a bowl of fruit as "compensation" (!?). I have heard absolutely nothing from the actual manager himself....no surprise there ! I know this wasn't just us...a number of people we spoke to said the same thing regarding service and the lack of any visible management taking responsibility. In fact, returning visitors said it had got worse since last year. At the end of the day I suppose you get what you pay for....and with all inclusive there is little incentive for staff to go the extra mile. If you want that - you go to Sani - and pay extra for all the incidentals. Worth it in my opinion. Would I go back ? Probably not.....but the kids would (even if just for Gogi Fun Jungle).
