we visited here with 2 of our grown children in may/june. we requested rooms close together with a sea view, and this request was granted. Transfer from airport to hotel was approx 35 mins. There was no welcome cocktail this time, but there is nothing stopping you walking 10 yards to the bar, and getting one yourself. Since our last visit, carpet in room had been replaced with tiles, a lovely walk in shower, rooms where cleaned to a high standard, this time however we did not get our fridge stocked on a daily basis, but you can always get water from the 24 hour lobby bar. Food, was of an high standard, there was bacon, not as much as last year, but you go on holiday to experience different foods, plenty of drinks, waiter service was good everywhere, although our waiter in the main restaurant kept calling us fake english, we didn't get this, until he explained that because we did not have tattoos, big breasts, and where not drunk all the time, we where known as 'fake english'!!! (its a sad state of affairs when this is how we are regarded as a nation abroad) The thomas cook reps, chloe and kayleigh where so helpful, and are avaiable every day should you need them. If you have a late check out, there is no need to pay for a room, you can leave your luggage in the lock up, reception area, go to the pool, and get changed in either the relax pool area, there are plenty of showers, changing rooms, or use the spa facilities, so please save your money. If you want some peace and quiet, the relax pool is great, there are books to read, a bar, and some cake, toliet and shower facilities, unfortunately, the only down side to this is, the choice of drinks is not a lot, no cocktails etc, just beer, water, tea coffee. Reception and customer relations staff, the service was second to none, nothing was to much trouble for them, esp bade Oral, we where going to Ephesus and the weather was bad, she lent me an umbrella and a shawl, now where else would you get service like that?? she could have sent me into gumbet to buy one, but she didn't. Thank you Bade. Our son was ill due to the sun, whilst we we there, and the lovely young lady in customer relations, her parents came from hartlepool, was so kind and helpful, I was very worried about him, and was very grateful to her, for her assistence. Thomas cook excursion, which are nothing to do with the hotel, they have a trip ephesus by night, at £48 per adult, it is expensive, but it is nice to see some culture, if you like history you will love this place, you are out 12 hours in total, but please take some food from the hotel, as the restaurant you are taken to is so bad. The guide you have on this trip is Orhan Can, he is an excellent, informative guide, with a good english sense of humour, and very knowlegable, The hotel will provide you with a breakfast, or lunch box, if you ask at reception, and will miss a meal due to timing of excursion. ask the day before you want the box. it is free of charge. Kos is also a nice day out, again you leave early so order your breakfast box. Gumbet is a short walk away, you can walk around the marina, to be honest, I wasn't that keen, everyone just pressured you into going into their establishment, in the end, we just headed back to the hotel, please beware of the fakes, my daughter bought 3 bags from oscar clothing and leather bags collection, all 3 are now broken, one used for the first time last week, they cost her over 95 euro, so please beware, of what you are buying. there is a small shop on site, which is fairly expensive, there are a lot of photographers, who will do family photo shoots, now not a lot of people take a lot of cash on an all inclusive, but these people do some great shots, you might when you see them wish you had taken some extra cash, I must admit, they did not pester you for business as in previous years. the animation team, where greatly improved from last year, however one of them seem to take a 'shine' to our 22yr old daughter, and where we went he was sure to follow, even in the restaurant, had we been there another week, I would have mentioned it to management. In all expect a lovely holiday, hard working staff who are happy to help you, lots of good food, drinks, The town of gumbet is noisey, but this is not the fqault of the hotel, and you would expect this at a holiday resort. Please if you have difficulties walking, get in touch with the hotel, and ask for a room not so high up, it is very steep in some places, for elderly, disabled, and people with pushchairs, yes there are lifts, but not all work , all of the time
Hotel is excellant food is fantastic ( not much bacon in morning though ) felt at ease and very welcome all staff are a credit to the hotel ask for anything and it's no trouble 5 mins to the town...

We stayed at the WOW in June for a week, We stayed at this hotel 5 times and would not consider staying anywhere else Food: Not as good in previous years but still offers a large variety, always think there is too much salad selection, there should be more outdoor cooking station, Ice cream parlour is a favourite, The Italian Restaurant on the beach is a regular for us, we celebrated our Daughters birthday there, however the cake was a bit of a rip off for £25 euro for 3 persons Bedrooms: Thet have changed the carpets in the rooms for tiles but still basic and the sea view was not as good as preivous years, but you are not in the room much Bars: Drinks are of a good quality and plenty of bars around the hotel, slush for the children, Lovely staff in the lobby bar 24 hour what more do you want! Beach: Not big but not small either, bar on the beach, also volley ball and two large water slides Entertainment: They all work very hard throught the day to entertain the guests Hotel: The hotel is very large and modern Cleaniness: Exceptionaly clean, staff work hard Location: Over looking the sea beautiful stunning views, ten minute walk into the town centre, Smileys/Chicos/Babylon Bars are good entertainment We love this hotel, probably not perfect but pretty close

This hotel is absolutely LOVELY! Definitely lives up to its name, great food, rooms are lovely, the view is WOW! The staff are helpful although some don't speak much English, but bars and restaurants are really good! Make sure you book the restaurants on site, there's 3 and if you stay a week you can visit them for free at least once, if a two week stay you can visit them twice for free. Their lovely and the food is to die for. The pools lovely and clean, hotel room cleaned everyday with towels etc. Private beach with security, which was good to see, decking out into the see with sunbeds. Lots of entertainment though the day and night, even a beach party for kids and adults on Saturdays. Bodrum town is a bus ride/cab away. The bus stops right outside the hotel and is three Turkish lira, cabs are 30 lira. Only problem within the hotel, not actually the hotel, the other guest! So rude, no manners! Overall, brill!!
