We have just returned from our two week family holiday and after reading earlier reviews thought we still have a positive outlook. My positivity was completely drained by the end of our vacation. On arrival reception staff barely spoke English and communication was at times impossible, Rooms where in serious need of renovation work, and upgrade in décor. Food was tasteless, bland and no variety. Pool maintenance was at it's low during our stay with it turning green over a two day period. The rep was like someone from a comedy sketch, laughable, Should I have had a crisis he would not be much use unless your paying him a commission fee. . I would however recommend Sami a rep from the Red Dragon Chinese who comes daily offering a meal package and transportation into Bodrum. GREAT VALUE with excellent food and service . A good place to visit is Pirates of the cactus aqua park which is a 20 min bus ride entrance fee is 80L for children and 100 L for adults all inclusive of food and drink (none alcoholic) request a discount and see how you get on,we did and had a wonderful day. The hotel is very remote however buses run very frequent to nearby towns and very accessible and easy to use. Turkey has some beautiful sites and is an amazing country and will not let our stay at this hotel put us off a return to Turkey.

I booked this hotel for my parents and I am now writing this review on behalf of them. They were so disappointed in everything and it may be easier to simply list everything: - paid for double room and were given twin beds; upon complaining they refused to change the rooms - it is stated that there is on-site parking; this is non-existent (my father had to park his hired car on the street) - there is nowhere to go around the hotel; my parents are usually used to spending time during the evenings in little markets etc, the closest 'shop' was 10mins with car - to actually go to the sea you need to take a mini-bus provided by the hotel - the sea although clean has so many rocks and stones it is not possible to stand in it - my father had to save a table whilst my mother queued for dinner vice versa as there are limited tables - what was on offer for breakfast did not change for the 7 days they were there - depending on what you like as a couple but this hotel was full of a lot of families leaving their kids running riot whilst they simply got drunk - the room itself had no space to move around in and was only cleaned if you asked them to clean it - used towels were simply folded and placed back in their place

If you have a teenager you will know that everything not nice is known as "crusty", this hotel should take on this name! We arrived by a private transfer (due to air traffic control delay) which was just under an hour to Crystal at 23.30, not offered any food (should have arrived in time for dinner) went to the pool bar for drinks, after which taken to our very basic and very cramped room. Next morning noticed one of the shower panels was cracked and the skirting board of the shower had been apparently kicked in, on inspecting the damage an "aged" cobweb found under sink unit, tried to report the damage to the reception, but english language not understood, took 2 days to get the message across to hotel staff using photos! To be fair the whole cubicle was replaced, but had to shower with no cubicle for 24hrs, discovering also a constant leaking toilet. Food was very samey, salads constantly dressed in fresh mint herbs along with a spikey one that hurt the inside of your mouth at times. Tables were full and reserved with plates of cakes! First holiday we all have lost weight on! Two poolside areas,we were soon advised that the lower was not for the english, well in fact the whole hotel was not for the english. Restaurant staff friendly, some bar waiting staff refused drinks by saying they had ran out, but served other nationalities. Hotel steps very dangerous for small children, there is a lift but always busy. Bodrum is 1 hour away from the hotel, but the local bus service is regular and very friendly and helpful bus drivers. Turkey is truly beautiful and turkish people are very friendly and their grasp of the english language is very good, would return to Turkey but never to this hotel.

Just came back yesterday from my 10 nights holiday in that hotel with mum and two little ones, I was so excited to go to turkey and paid sky high to be in a 2 star hotel as I last minute booked that holiday. We arrived at late night to bodrum airport and it was really long way to get to the hotel, when we arrived to the reception nobody speaks English, they booked us in and was asking if we could have something to eat as we were starving they said no food finish at 9:30 I wanted to pay to get a sandwich for little ones and it was a clear no we don't have any food till 7:30 in the morning, next minute I could see the staff walking around with full plates of food taking it somewhere, anyway in the morning went to reception to ask about things to do and where to go with kids, they said my rep is coming and I can book it all with him, I was bit surprised as I don't have one and I don't know who allocated him to be my tour rep, anyway he came at 10:00 dangling his folders, not presentable at all he sat us in the cafe got his folders out and put them in front of us and another English family, his new victims. He showed us the aqua park, the safari, the boat, the Turkish bath and other trips, we chose what we wanted and he gave us the prices, and said do u want the real price or the bottom price a stupid way to start a rip off, anyway we paid over £300 myself and the other lady whom he misled when he told her that she could go to the post office and withdraw some English money as she only had euros so had to lend her some as he only wanted to be paid pounds, when she went to withdraw pounds she couldn't do it he just lied to her to get me pay for her. And he promised to get the children ice cream in the boat trip as her children didn't want to go but to convince them he gave them a false promise which made me really angry children went excited to the bar person in the boat asking for ice cream after lunch he looked at them like what are u talking about as they don't serve it in the bait only crap food. But still didn't know that we were ripped off until we went to aqua park we paid £140 where it is only £60 with transport and everything for all of us and charged kids full price while they are free so it was £15 for adults he charged £35 each even for children, and there was another Indian family with us who paid £105 while it's only £50 for them, so we decided to face him he went crazy on us started shouting screaming and threatened to throw us out of the hotel and said see what I ll do, I was very upset and told him I will call the police he said do whatever u want, then I called his office they were even ruder than him and put the phone down on my face, so I thought I ll go to the big hotel manager and complain because he shouldn't let that thief walking freely in the hotel grabbing victims to rip them off so I though I ll be doing a favour reporting him so they be more vigilant about him and impose their rules to protect their client, first we sat in front of them like stupids as they only spoke English when they wanted to say things we shouldn't know I asked many times if they can speak English so we can understand no success the manager called the tour agency owner spoke to him in Turkish then he offered us £20 back which was an insult we refused to take it as my real concern was our safety and get a proper apology from them manager showed that he tried to help but in fact they know each other and it's a business between them, so I wasn't satisfied with way the complaint was handled, then I asked for £40 back for the Turkish Hamam as I decided not to have it he said oh I ll speak with the owner and get u a refund tomorrow which he knew he would disappear for two days until we left, that was really bad experience with him as I was scared that he would do something to us on the way to the airport at night that's why just let it go and even lost the Hamam money and not even used it. Back to the hotel, the location is brilliant I just loved it as it is in a high point where u can sit at the restaurant and watch the sun set and the beautiful sea. The rooms were dated and came back with back and neck aches, small uuworkihg tv and fridge we kept buying and throwing fruits and taking drinks to the bars to cool them for us. Staff were nice and clean constantly but not a word of English which was a big pain. Entertainments were basically only targeting polish and Turkish people and English were left in the corner without getting evolved because we didn't understand what is going on, especially when the y laugh or applaud we just look at them know nothing what's going on. Food very repetitive especially the breakfast I was expecting more Turkish food which would be more common sense so foreigners will test the Turkish life in every aspect, and we needed to race for the seats as by 7:00 there is long tables are taking by big polish families otherwise you get stuck inside the restaurant with no air cond in a boiling atmosphere and that if u find a place. The floor is slippery few people hurt themselves as there isn't anti slip matts in every area where it should be used. Snacks are crap either u get a dry burger or a not well cooked Turkish chapatti type of thing. inside and around the hotel you get a very bad unbearable smell time to time I guess it is from the gutters. Hotel far from everything it is isolated you need a transport to get to each place and to get to the mini buses is a mission as there is a big long slope that u need to walk before getting to them very tiring. Hotel hairdressing salon is a joke went for a pedicure and threading and massage she took 10min on the pedicure basically only done the cuticles and that's it everything is dates asked where am I having massage on the hairdressing chair that was a big joke I said no thank u then they wanted to charge 120 liras which was a rip off. There was a wedding booked in on a Saturday so we had to empty the pool at 5:00 then cope with the loud music in the party till 23:30. You get bored easily as nothing to do inside the hotel apart for polish people then it is hard work going out, total crap. Small pools not enough sun beds if u don't put ur towel down at 7:30 or before no place for u in the pool. Turkish people there are rude unhelpful and nasty grumpy faces even outside especially men, they look to fight straight away. I couldn't feel welcomed at all I will never go back to that hotel they lost myself as a family of 4 another English family of 3 another English family of 9 an Indian family of 4 and and English family of 4 I did warn few new arrivals from that rep and not to get ripped off though. It is a big shame that hotel could be one of the best because of the location apart from being far but the view is amazing but unfortunately management is crap and allowing that thief rep topped it all
