We visited this hotel for the 10th time over two weeks during the Easter holidays, and once again had a wonderful relaxing holiday. On arrival we were welcomed by a lady on reception who remembered us from last year and greeted us warmly. This was the first of many 'welcome back' handshakes with members of staff from management, waiters, pool/beach staff, animation plus many more who we did not even remember. Our room was in the old junior suite block, a two bedroom room on the ground floor overlooking the quiet gardens at the side of the hotel. This type of room suited our 21 yr old son as he had his own bedroom with twin beds and could come back at any time of the night without disturbing us in the other bedroom. We had a lovely patio which protected you from the wind but got the afternoon sunshine, ideal for sitting and relaxing on when it got too windy on the sunbeds round the pool (which we had quite a few days of). Wi-fi is excellent in the room and around the hotel, even on the beach and is also free. Most of the animation team are new, with the exception of a couple of members, but I have to mention Altan who came to this hotel a few years ago as 'teen animator' and has been a wonderful friend to our son and his friends over the years, he is now promoted to Chief animator and still an asset to the hotel. The evening entertainment programme in the amphetheatre was mainly dance type shows, some better than others. They had a pianist accommpanied by either violinist or classical singer most nights in the lobby bar, followed by live singers in the night club. So plenty of choice for all. Overall we had a great, relaxing holiday and did not let the mixed weather dampen our spirits. We are planning visit number 11 for next year already. I could go on forever about how good this hotel is, if you have any questions please get intouch.

Whilst this hotel visually may not be the biggest nor fanciest, as with some of the themed hotels in region, which to me appear a bit tacky, it was by far the best that we have stayed anywhere. The hotel, grounds and facilities are kept immaculate. the SERVICE provided by ALL staff was impeccable and this is one of the areas which made the experience. Polite, attentive and helpful would sum up their philosophy. The rooms were very modern, bright and spacious with well laid out bathrooms, what a shower ! The grounds and pools areas are expansive are well appointed and a relaxing area to pass the days. Plenty of sun beds and grass areas where you can take yourself off too to get some quiet time. Beach Bar a real plus as you can relax with a cool drink as part of the AI package and take in the sea view and indeed a swim. The lounge is the main relaxing area for drinks and again staff are very attentive at all times and anticipate service without you even having to think about reordering. Night club and cinema whilst not used looked very nice. I used the gym daily and it is spacious and well appointed from cardio through power/weights. Staff on had at all times to offer advice and assistance. The main restaurant whilst self service is relaxing as there are defined areas which in effect make you feel that you are in your own small eating area, similar to the themed restaurants. I found the choice and quality of good to be very good and did not feel the need to try out the other restaurants. We stayed in April and I believe hotel was far from full which for us was lovely as it did not feel packed or hustled during pool time, eating or evening drinks, I am sure in high season additional pressures will become apparent in most of the areas praised and whilst cannot comment on this would believe the service levels would not be allowed to drop. Wifi - unlike other hotels where free wifi is generally only accessible in reception area and at that very poor , I found the Barut Lara free wifi was easily accesable throughout the whole resort which is fantastic service. For sure my wife and I will return having found this gem.

I visited this hotel in February where the weather was ok for this time of year. From the moment we touched down Barut Lara was everywhere. As we entered the beautiful compilation of buildings. we were welcomed by the bell hop who took our bags to our hotel room. This touch was nice and really pleased me. I guess you could say I was impressed already. The hotel was almost homely. From the second I arrived I felt comfortable and that was great. After walking around we discovered that there was a plethora of activities to do. From the awesome animation staff to the the beautiful spa and swimming area. We tried out the swimming area just before closing. The tranquility and calm of the area is something I can't forget. We then ate at the restaurant. The food was amazing. There was anything u might want including all meats and veg options also so it was definitely a highlight. The next morning I tried the extensive gym which was fantastic. We were also able to try out the breakfast buffet. This was very nice and the all inclusive concept was beautiful. There was complete freedom to do whatever you wanted. No one bats an eyelid. You've paid you get what you want. We walked across the resort and we went to the beautiful beach where we could see the mountains. In feb the waterspouts are not available but the beach along with the lovely beach bar was amazing. The swimming pool is busier in the day but still very relaxing. To finish, this hotel was outstanding if only there were a 6-star option because this place deserves it. There is a myriad of activities from golf, events, entertainment, swimming, spa, a jogging track and a squash court, 2 tennis courts and two table for table tennis. Hiring all the equipment is free so don't bother taking everything. I'd like to especially thank the Animation Staff who never seemed tired and the mini club staff who were amazing. They welcomed every child. I still haven't got used to the not all inclusive concept that does not exist across the world. I have put some tips to really make this great hotel even better Try the swimming pool at 6. The night sky looks beautiful Try the fantastic lobby bar. Try out the animation leisure activities Try the a la carte restaurants Finally I would like to thank the staff members, especially the mini club and animation staff. I could write for hours since that is how good this 'stationary cruise ship' is Expect us again since we will definitely be entering the Barut Lara doors again in the future

Stayed for three nights as part of a tour, but this would be a great place for a family holiday with mixed ages. Oromo re comfortable and well equipped, spotlessly clean, and away from the made n pool areas are pretty peaceful. Beautiful grounds with access to the beach. Several pools, group exercise programmes to get you fit for next meal in the buffet restaurant with a massive variety of well presented food. Drinks on demand, but no rowdies. During our autumn stay most guests were German, with a sprinkling of many other nationalities. Helpful, charming, English speaking staff.

During the winter months of December through to March the average temperatures range from 12 ºC to 13 ºC, making it pleasant weather if you want to get away from the UK's cold winters. However, December and January are Antalya's wettest months, so go prepared with an umbrella if you are going during these months.
