This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in, Great staff who went out of there way to make your holiday, lovely room, food was plentiful and delicious, grounds and pool were immaculate we never had a problem getting a sun bed. The a la carte restaurants are definitely worth booking. All in all not a bad word to say about the Barut Lara. Ten days of bliss, We will definitely return. However if you book any trips with Thomas Cook ask for the truth! The rep was no help whatsoever and informed us two trips we had booked would involve a 45 min bus journey!! two and a half hours more like. We were also informed that lunch was included. This was not the case on one of the trips and when we complained to the rep we were told it was a misprint, Will be looking to book this hotel independently next time.

My wife and I have just recently returned from a wonderful weeks holiday at Barut Lara. As this was our first time on an all inclusive holiday we didn't quite know what to expect, however we were absolutely blown away by everything the hotel has to offer. The service, food and the appearance and upkeep of the Barut is first class. This hotel definitely deserves its top trip advisor rating, and we will definitely be returning in the near future.

Just returned from 7 night holiday with our family. Hotel is lovely, beautiful and extensive grounds, exceptionally clean. 8 a la carte restaurants. A number of pools. Because of the number of restaurants and pools etc nowhere ever seemed too busy. Staff can't do enough and all are polite and helpful. The animation team work hard and do their best to get everyone to join in and enjoy themselves but aren't pushy. My sons, 18, thoroughly enjoyed the activities and general fun provided by the team, Vulcan, Ufuk, Ozi, Viktoria, Selan and particularly Selcuk; who all seemed to go that extra mile. We met many people who come back to the hotel again and again and we can see why!
The weather is one of the main reasons why Antalya is so popular! Boasting, on average, 300 days of sun each year and only a few days of rain, Antalya is a fantastic holiday destination all year round.
The summer months in Antalya are absolutely beautiful, with the hottest months of July and August getting boiling! The summer months are long in Antalya, lasting from April until November. Temperatures range from 16ºC in April, rising to 28ºC in July and August and back down to 21ºC in October and 16 ºC in November.
During the winter months of December through to March the average temperatures range from 12 ºC to 13 ºC, making it pleasant weather if you want to get away from the UK's cold winters. However, December and January are Antalya's wettest months, so go prepared with an umbrella if you are going during these months.
