Designed by Cesar Manrique a famous Canarian Artist known for his work involving natural spaces worldwide over, the man made beach we call Playa Jardin is simply beautiful. This long stretch of black sand is fringed with lushes palms and tropical flowers which reflect against the clear calm waters. The beach offers sun bathing facilities, beach activities, watersports and even a children's playground only mentioning a few. There is a pretty seafront promenade which runs along side the beach, here you will find many restaurants, shops, bars, supermarkets serving delicious refreshments throughout the day and night. The beach is extremely popular with tourists and the local community and gets very busy especially at weekends, but due to it's length you will rarely struggle to get a spot.    Read more about this beachMinimise

Located in the north of the island Bollulo beach is a cove of black volcanic sand backed by green mountain cliffs. The waters here appear calm but please take care as the currents are actually very strong and can be dangerous if caution is not taken when swimming. The beach is quite remote with minimum facilities therefore you don't often see many tourists.
