the hotel is situated right next to a supermarket similar to Asda or Tesco, very reasonably priced and all sun creams and shampoos are available so don't worry about overloading your bags, the local shops are cheep too ie a leather belt about 12 euros and a lightweight beach towel for 6 euros, the hotel ive marked as a 5 but that's based on value for money not quality, the pool is very well enjoyed and the pool side is cleaned every night and tidied, although there is always towels on empty beds by 7 am while the pool isnt open till 9, there is sun around the pool all day but there are plenty of areas of shade, the rooms are basic with sockets where you wont expect them, tv has bbc 4 on it but not much more in English, the shower is very nice and there is clean towels every day and beds are made every day, and room is moped, ther is no aircon in the rooms and no expelair in the shower so gets very humid, the food is slightly above average but not brilliant although you will get calamari and octopus and a platter of unshelled prawns, along with pork and chicken with veg and cakes puddings and ice cream, the coffee is terrible if you don't take sugar so bring your own, there is generally plenty of seating but can get busy, meal times are set and not at all flexible so if you turn up 1 min late then your gonna go hungry, but food is available around the pool before and after lunch, there is no free food after 7pm, pizza is 6 euros in evening. the train arrives outside the hotel to take you to town at 30 past and on the hour, it takes about 5 mins into town. there is also a real train into barcellona for about 10euros per person, and its well worth the visit. the staff are excellent and the hotel is very clean, you will never be far from a cleaner as they are full time and always active either in the rooms or around the general area, the gym is similar to what you might find in a teanagers bedroom in essex, so dont expect too much. there is entertainment every night but its not britains got tallent and ends at midnight which is great if your wanting to get to sleep but not so great if your having fun which most people do. if your going out for the day then tell the staff the day before and they will pack a packed lunch for you ie bottle of water, sandwiches and some fruit, my son loved the place and spent every waking moment in the pool and having fun, on your last day you can use the facilities inc pool and restaurant and there is a room for bags but no shower or changing room with showers so you could be sticky on your flight home. it is a well run hotel and i would definitely return based on value for money, the staff are excellent.

We were a family of five that arrived on the 25th August for a week. Like most I was very hesitant about the hotel after reading the reviews, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hotel. Despite other reviews stating kids running riot from the moment they turned up, this was not the case for us! It was very quiet and we were greeted by a lovely receptionist , who was very softly spoken and informative. The downside at this stage was that in November 2011 there was a Catalan tax being introduced, this was 0.50 euros per adult every night of your stay. We ended up paying 7 euros for this, not the fault of the hotel though but the tour operator. They should be updating their information every year. The other downside was no air con , but then we knew about this through previous reviews we had read. We hired a large fan for 16 euros with a 10euro deposit, again if you have read previous reviews make sure you keep the reciepts. I was very surprised at the room, very spacious and clean throughout. Our rooms were made up everyday and we always had fresh towels The pool was a good size and yes you do need to get up early to get a good spot for your sun bed, but we were on holiday and I was definately not getting up just to do that. We would wander down around 10.30 and still managed to find a spot by the pool. The staff worked really hard to keep the areas clean as well as entertain the kids. The bar staff were fantastic and the chef on the snack bar was amazing, it was nice to have snacks that were hot, consistent and fresh. Food at other points of the day in the dining room were just as good and plenty to choose from. There was not much in the way of entertainment but when you are a family on holiday , you should make your own . Maybe try and have a conversation because If you can't do that on holiday then when can you! Both my husband and were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, the kids enjoyed themselves , we were able to relax and met some great people. Think you just need to remember , you will only get out what you put into a holiday.

just back from a week at resort with our 2 grandchildren . hotel is spotless rooms cleaned and towels changed daily . all inc drinks selection is excellent , a varied choice of food and if its not to your taste there is always the pool snack bar offering toasties burgers or hot dogs ice cream on offer all day for kids . entertainment every night and always activities going on for the kids . theres a supermarket next door and a free train into the town about every 20 mins or half hour . the town comes to life at night with many shops and things for the kids and its a ten minute walk . the staff work so hard there and are friendly . we will definately be going here again

We have just returned from a family holiday at this hotel. Do not just go by all the bad reviews on this hotel as every hotel has its good and bad points. The hotel itself is lovely. You get what you pay for. Its not a five star hotel and they dont pretend to be. The food is good, a lot of different things on offer everyday and they dont just put the leftovers from the following night out for lunch which a lot of all inclusive hotels do. The snack bar offers burgers, hotdogs, toasties and chips which are all tasty and the staff are friendly. The pool area is nice and secluded and gets a lot of sun all day. Sometimes was hard to find a spot round the pool as most people put their towels out at night, but you find that in most hotels. The room we stayed in was the only bad point of our holiday. We booked a family room with 2 adults and 3 kids. We were all in 1 room and it was in the attic with no balcony and no air con. The room was ridiculously hot and even though we got a fan from reception, this made no difference. We spent pretty much no time in the room as it was unbearable, and had a few sleepless nights, but we just made do. I would suggest to avoid the attic rooms and request a room with a balcony. The dolly train was good, they run quite often and only a short trip into town for the beach. The beach was nice. Shale beaches though, not sand, but we didnt mind this as it was less messy. Sea is very deep very quick, so not best for young non swimmers, but beautiful clear water. Watersports on offer were good and reasonably priced. You get hassled lot by traders but if you say no a few times they go away. All in all we had a lovely week here, but very glad to be back in out own beds.
