My Family and I consisting of wife and 2 teenage children stayed here for 15 nights in August 2015. Despite being very concerned after reading some of the reviews we were pleasantly surprised with how good a time we had. Yes we had some minor issues such as on occasions we had to wait for drinks but in the main this wasn't more than 5 mins but sometimes it was immediate. The food was good and if you didn't like one dish you just changed it for another. It could get a bit samey but they had theme nights which helped and when it did get a bit like we was going into a school hall we went out on a coupe of occasions to break it up. Some fresh food cooked at the grill as well which helped. Snack time left a lot to be desired as it was the same thing ( burgers) everyday and luke warm at best. The staff were hard working and the maids cleaned the room daily and changed the towels. Everyday we got loungers with no issues, but would ask the lifeguard to keep an eye on the pool and stay there which is his role instead of wandering off a lot. 15 mins of free WIFI everyday and it worked, however the safe fee was a bit steep at €28 per week we felt. Great location for the beach and the beach is really good. Good local bars where we went a few times especially Roxy dead opposite and El Pub just around the corner. Overall a good holiday and its not a top class hotel but its good for where you are and what you want from this type of hotel.

We had a great holiday at this hotel, the location was good, just out of town and round the corner from a small beach. The staff were all friendly, the food was decent enough, the entertainment was good and we enjoyed the trip to the medieval night.

We had a family holiday, 2 adults and 6 children between 10 and 15yrs. Most staff were extremely nice, and friendly. Especially cleaning staff. Hotel was clean, it was probably very glam in its day! It's all starting to look tired and worn. Food was to be as expected, lots to cater for from very different regions. The problem was the very disrespectful party people...... Partying in the corridors, shouting, swearing, even urinating. Nasty objects thrown from balcony's, ie plastic carrier full of vomit. Around 10pm the baboons seem to kick off, shouting and ooh ooh ooh ing from balcony to balcony. The hotel its self is quite ok, they need to separate families from party goers, as you really do not get any sleep!!!!

Very old, very dated, very strict regime of timings, staff look miserable although some Are nice. Who ever gave this hotel 4*s needs to visit specsavers, we wanted to climb up and take the bulbs out of 2 of the stars and it would have been closer to the truth. When this was built in the early 80's it would have been amazing but believe me they've not got a paint brush out since. Don't be fooled by the "all inclusive" the only thing extra you don't need to pay for is the air you breathe. For families on a very tight budget and don't have a lot of cash spare please note: 1) safe €7 per night - plus -€10 deposit 2) if you want to watch TV then that's €10 for the remote 3) cocktails are from €2.10 extra but you do get a proper glass! 4) snacks are not "on tap" 5) no pool towels - take your own 6) toiletries in the room - don't bother 7) bar shuts at 12am even if you are in the queue 8) great idea of installing a weighing scales to check your luggage but that's €1 per bag! The card system which rules your life in the hotel is very irritating and there are other proven ways of confirming you have paid for your all inclusive deal. Anyway safe to say we will never return to this hotel. Lloret is not a bad place and Fenal beach was lovely.
