This is a hotel managed by a group called "H Top" I am a female solo traveller and was moved to this hotel after having an harassment with a group of 20 or so students men at their other hotel (calella palace) No one helped me move to the Amaika at 10pm at night. I was left alone to find this hotel , walking alone with my massive suitcase, from the calella palace sister hotel. The Amaika hotel put me in a room next to the lift ...I heard the lift all the time!!! At night in the morning!!. No one would help me. no room change . nothing. I couldn't complain anymore. I ran out of energy. I paid for an all inclusive holiday what I got was A HOLIDAY FROM HELL

Our second Christmas at The Amaika and if possible it was even better than last year. The staff are fantastic, very efficient and professional. Every meal was good with a massive amount of choice and constantly being replenished. I cannot find anything to fault with this hotel and would recommend it to everyone.

I stayed her for 7 nights in october with my partner, my son and mother in law. Most of the staff were polite and helpful but some were damn right rude. I wouldn't reccomend staying with children as not much for them to do. To be honest it was full of older people who were of the age 60+. Lets get onto the food and drink. Most nights and days the food was barely luke warm. There was agood variety, but the food appeared to be very cheap and not of a good standard. The drinks were watered down immensely and the mixers again were very cheap. The room was of a decent size, but when you pay for a double, you do not expect 2 single beds pushed together. Would I reccommend this hotel...definitely not!!
As you would expect from this part of the word, Calella basks in a coastal Mediterranean climate, ensuring year-round mild temperatures. Autumn and spring enjoy cooler weather, or come in July and August for summer at its hottest. The weather is perfect for Calella holidays no matter what time of year you visit. East is ideal for golf, summer is excellent for sun tanning while Autumn is an ideal time for an offpeak holiday in Calella. Just don’t forget to slap on that high-factor sunscreen!
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
