Villa Concha is a delightful hotel. We had the bed & breakfast option - and the breakfast was really good quality. Friendly staff, and good facilities. The pool is lovely, and it is what is needed for a relaxing break. However......................... On the morning of Friday 5th September we asked the receptionist at Villaconcha to check with Resort Hoppa what our pick-up time was for the 6th. She advised that this would be confirmed later. After a relaxing morning in the spa, and swimming pool, we visited the beach, returning to Villa Concha at 6.00pm when the receptionist phoned Resort Hoppa where it was confirmed that we would be picked up at 15.55 for our plane which was scheduled to leave at 18.00 the following day. I phoned Resort Hoppa again at just after 9.00am on the 6th and our shuttle was confirmed – I queried whether or not this gave us time to get to the airport and was assured that it did. After our final day at Villaconcha, we were ready for collection at 15.45. At 16.05 I phoned Resort Hoppa – I was told that the delay in arrival was probably due to a marathon which was happening in the area, but that checks would be made, and they would get straight back to me. I phoned again at 16.15 and was told that there was a problem with our driver and I would need to order taxis. This was at the end of our holiday – I had no more cash on me. The taxis were ordered by the receptionist and arrived at 16.25. Our driver told me that the fare is 90 euros/taxi, and he was unsure about whether or not we would make our plane. We arrived at Palma airport at 17.15 – I had to run into the building to find a cash point which was on the lower floor, while my family and the taxi drivers got our luggage – I paid the drivers (200 euros – the extra money was gratitude for getting us there). We got to the Ryanair last minute desk and were told we had 2 minutes to get to the boarding gate. We just made it to our plane – I did not have receipts for the taxis because we were in a terrible rush, and in real danger of missing our flight – and our drivers had come into the airport with us to bring our luggage and to get their payment (they did not have receipt books with them). The hotel provided me with confirmation that they ordered two taxis, and that the fare from Villa Concha to the airport is 90 euros/taxi. We got our flights so the reasonable conclusion is that we travelled by taxi to the airport. This is not good enough for Resort Hoppa - they have refused to reimburse us for the cost of the taxis. They did reimburse us for the cost of the Resort Hoppa trip from the hotel to the airport - i.e. they have accepted that they did not provide the transport, and they paid us for the cost of the return journey. My advice is do not use Resort Hoppa. A completely stressful horrible end to our holiday. We attempted to seek money back for the fare, and our holiday company did what they could - Resort Hoppa refused because we did not have receipts. Just try getting receipts when a family of 5 is trying to get luggage into the airport while one member of the party is frantically running through the airport to find a cash machine, and the airline states that you have 2 minutes to make the boarding gate.

This hotel is located just a short walk from the beach. The hotel is in a good state and most of the staff speak English very well. Our room was located above the hotel bar which does have night time entertainment, this for us wasn't an issue although guests who bring small children might find this an annoyance. The hotel itself has 2 swimming pools which are available for general use, however hidden behind a door is a heated indoor pool (circa 20m in length) and sauna facilities. There is a charge for this service but it is well worth it - the pool is marked into decent sized lanes (6 if memory serves correctly) . The hotel has a requirement that swimmers wear swimming hats - which they will provide. There is a gym on site, although I didn't use it and can not confirm if this would be an added extra. Would willingly return.

Booked this apartment for its pools for the kids and location to the beach.(3 minute walk) Arrived very late at night so no hotel bar or shops open and reception were unable to sell anything to us!!! Taxi from Palma airport cost us 80 Euros and we got the bus back which was 40 Euros for all the family. There is a large supermarket about 15 minutes walk which is cheaper than the closer ones but to be honest by the time you get there its easier to go the ones on the beach front Apartments are very tired and basic and really need updating (albeit air con works great). Pools were great for the kids and the daytime entertainment for our 4 and 9 year old was fine. We had gone self catering so cant really comment on the food except one day that we had breakfast in the hotel (for a small charge) but didn't really rate it at all. Probably wont go back as would prefer something a little more modern but as we paid a good cheap price for this we cant really complain.
It's safe which is great. We never saw any strangers or non residents wandering about. The room was very clean and the bed was HUGE!! The wifi and tv were great too. I would def stay here again...
It's safe which is great. We never saw any strangers or non residents wandering about. The room was very clean and the bed was HUGE!! The wifi and tv were great too. I would def stay here again and the big pool for the kids is brilliant. Plus you are near the beach that I feel is nicer than the beach by the Pine walk. Not great for sunbathing on your balcony but it's a lovely apartment.
