Boys holiday in September. Clean enough apartments, cleaners are miserable and rude and was quite aggressive about picking a couple of empty water bottles up whilst working her way through the bedroom while we tried to catch a few Z's. She should have known what to expect when taking on the job in this kind of hotel. The Hotel literally does not sleep. They bring in top bands like keiser chiefs on the regular during season. I was rather irrated by the 2 girls next door, they seemed to spend their holiday on the balcony laughing like hyenas. These rooms don't have air con but a useless fan, so having balcony door open is essential. You will get people shouting from one balcony to another for hours which add to the battle of recovery. Never really inter acted with staff, however they are always on the main door checking ID. So seems secure enough. This place is like 5mins from the strip so good location. The only thing I will mention is you have to walk passed 50 Year old + black women on the way back a night that seem to come out of the shadows asking if you want to touch their tittes. There's also lots of black guys trying to sell drugs. You decline and they will leave you alone. I must admit I got really off it one night and woke up with an arm full of fake rolexs, going passed my forearm. I kind of remember buying them of one of these guys, seemed like a good idea at the. time. I understand the hotels under new manage ment so be interested to see how these reveiws go.. NOTES - location good, but thriving with drug dealers and Prostitutes. So be careful and stick together. You won't sleep much, but that's probably the plan.

Myself and 3 friends (All 19) came to Magaluf on the 22nd of July til the 28th of July 2014. We stayed in the main hotel and saw Ed Sheeran, Duke Dumont as well as the Sunday pool party. We also decided to do the Pirate Show which was amazing and I'm so glad we did it, as we weren't going to at the beginning of the week. Because we were in the main hotel, where the performances were, we were able to go back to our rooms and also get the best places when the performances were on because our block was near to the stage. We also made friends with a group of people who were opposite us so that we could use their balcony for a better view where we were able to drink as well. This was my second trip to Maga but my friends first, so we decided to check out loads of different places. Where I used to go to the beach during the days, there are 2 pools you could choose from at this hotel. We used the main hotel pool, however were informed that the other pool had a better atmosphere half way through the week. We did check it out once, but found that we preferred the main hotel pool as we could just sleep around it after a heavy night. The strip is literally a 2 minute walk, and there are also bars around the hotel. BCM was just down the road, so this was helpful too. Fast-food restaurants are nearby, as well as other restaurants, but we found that we just went to spar or BIM which were close by and got alcohol and food from the hotel. This wasnt that expensive and you could get salads and toasties (which we lived off). The only annoying thing was that when you were around the pool during events you had to use tickets to get alcohol and you werent allowed to bring your own cups in, which was frustrating as you had to buy them earlier in the day. These were also really expensive compared to bars and alcohol in the shops, so we found that we just kept going back to the room which wasnt that much of a problem. I had asked for early check in, as our flight arrived midday and check in was at three, however when we got there we were told the room wasnt ready and so we had to put our stuff into a big cupboard and had to get our bands for the event that night. This was frustrating as we were all walking around in leggings and stuff and had been awake since 3am so would have been nice to nap, but the atmosphere in maga shook us out of that. Im so sad that this hotel is no longer Mallorca Rocks, and hopefully whoever takes it over can keep up the reputation of this amazing hotel - If you want nightlife and afterparties, as well as jokes across the balconies (they all faced eachother in a square) - this is the place to be!
