We stayed at No 7 Villa Blancas and booked it independently. The villa itself was spacious and was ideal for myself and husband, daughter and son in law plus baby and son and daughter in law. It had 3 bedrooms, 2 ensuite plus extra bathroom. There was a huge utility room which was off a bedroom and ideal for the baby, A cot and high chair were provided. There was a large lounge/ dining room with TV, radio, CD etc and a lot of books. The kitchen was quite small but was very well equipped with everything you would need. There was even a dish washer. Outside there was a lovely heated pool but because of the weather we didn't get to use as much as we would have liked . There were also beach/pool toys provided and we left a lilo. There was an outside table equipped for 6 and a large BBQ. it was a five minute walk to a super market at a nearby hotel but we found the best one was a Spa near the beach which was 5 minutes in the car. we never walked into town. it probably would have taken about 20 mins down and 30 back up. I liked Playa Blanca itself with some lovely restaurants on the sea front. All in all it would have been a thoroughly good holiday if the sun had come out a bit more ( like it is this week) This property is listed on Owners Direct no C2902. Casa Lucia

We stayed at villa Blanca's via James villa holidays in February 2015. What a huge disappointment from the villa location on a housing estate with 48 other villa's, with no privacy at all, the pool area over looked from every angle by other villa's, In addition the villa is some way out of the main town and beach so you really need a car. On entering the villa there was an awful smell of raw sewage from the downstairs bathroom that filled the whole villa every day of our holiday. The villa just did not seem ready, among other things the alarm did not work at all, a problem given all the reports of crime in the area, nor the air conditioning which did not work for the first 6 days of the holiday and had to be replaced. The bathrooms looked great but the hot water system could not even fill a bath a quarter full, which then left no hot water, we seemed to have maintainance men arriving on almost a daily basis. The accommodation totally ruined our holiday. Awful.

First time in Lanzarote and we picked Playa Blanca, nice place to be in, the villa was fantastic, very clean with heated swimming pool, Sky TV along with a few other small upgrades. The villa is very well presented, modern inside and very spacious, nice hi-tech kitchen (for those who like to cook). Glad we picked this villa and would recommend it to anyone visiting here

Tourist Information

Weather

Cheap Playa Blanca holidays are more or less a fixture for tourists the whole year round, thanks in no small part to the consistently warm Lanzarote temperatures - consistently hot, that is! Hot it may be, averaging around 18° Celsius in December and 26° Celsius by the summer, but sultry breezes, courtesy of the trade winds, mean you’re never flustered. Having said that, ensure you have your sun cream on at all times to protect you from the sun's rays.

As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
