We were all very excited about coming to this hotel for my 30th Birthday, 6 adults and two young children. On arrival around 2pm we checked in which took some time, we then took the golf buggy to the other end of the complex to the family building. We were hungry so read the leaflet and went to the snack bar, here there were no plates and no food, we spoke to the man behind the bar who did not utter one word but stormed off into the back and came back empty handed again saying nothing. When pressed he went back and came back with some plates. All of which were dirty (something that became a standard for the whole hotel and holiday) when told they were dirty he looked blank and carried on his work. There was still no food so we went to the restaurant above and were told it was closed, it was 3.10 and people still getting food from the buffet. So after a long day travelling we went hungry Not there best start As mentioned the plates, cutlery and glasses were always dirty, no matter which restaurant you went to they were dirty, we had even been given wine in a glass with lipstick on not once but twice over the week we were there. I have to say at this point that the staff (not inc the first man mentioned) were all first class and very helpful and pleasant. Our room was big and very nice, however, the shower was hot and cold meant that my daughter could not have a shower for the risk of being scolded as it really did get that hot Our room was in the family complex however our we could not use the balcony for fear of our daughter being hurt, the reason or this being that the rail on the balcony had a gap big enough for a child to climb under and then free fall to the floor. How this could be in a family complex I will never know, Crazy. The hotel is well laid out and that meant that you didnt really feel how busy it was although it was getting busier as we left. One other strange thing was that you were given a plastic water bottle, one between the three of us in our room and if you needed more water you had to fill it yourself. Several times we needed water at night time and went to the closest bar only to be told that we needed to go to the main bar 10 mins walk away. Again Crazy Wifi is awful On the whole we enjoyed our holiday but I wouldn't go back to the hotel due to all of the items listed above

We have just returned from a weeks stay, the weather was pants but the hotel was lovely! This was our first holiday abroad with our daughter who is nearly two, I'm glad we chose it as we all loved it. We hired a car for the week as it was cheaper than getting a taxi to and from the hotel and we didn't want to be stuck on a coach! We used autoreisen which we have used before it was cheap enough at €98 and easy except for trying to fit the car car seat! On arrival we parked right outside the hotel and were the only ones checking in so it was fast, we were given a glass of Cava and our daughter was given a fruit juice! We were shown to our room by a porter who took our bags. We booked a superior twin room with no specified view but I emailed the hotel before our stay to ask for a quiet room as we knew our daughter would sleep in the afternoon. The room we were given was gorgeous and had a lovely sea view, we were near the main buffet restaurant and reception. The room was perfect for us and our daughter loved that she could play in the sand right outside. I loved the walk in wardrobe which meant you could hide all the usual holiday junk! Cases, push chair, shoes etc! There was a travel cot for our daughter and a novelty sponge in the bathroom! The bathroom was spacious with 2 sinks, a really good shower and separate bath. Lots of toiletry's which we didn't use but they were available. The hair dryer was okay too, I have long hair and managed to dry it! There were tea and coffee making facilities and they were replenished each day. A large bottle of water was also left in the room each day. We asked for more pillows and they arrived straight away and we also asked for something to air clothes on and returned to find a clothes airer had been fitted on our terrace. The room was cleaned every day and the bed turned down in the evening with chocolates. Also while there it was my husbands birthday and a bottle of fizz was left in the room. We ate once at the pool bar, burger and chips which was fine, every other meal we ate in the main buffet restaurant so I can't comment on the other places to eat, we found the food to be really nice, I'm a super fussy eater but found no trouble eating here, there was plenty of choice. The staff were all lovely, you just find a table and sit down and a waiter comes to get you drinks and they also bring high chairs for families with young children. There are plenty of bars to get a drink and they do take out coffee, hot chocolate etc if you want to take one back to your room. There is a little place to get food, drinks and ice cream near the children's area too. There were lots for children to do including a little park, a bouncy castle and slides in the pool! We didn't use the baby club and our daughter was too young for the mini club. She enjoyed the disco though, however she was terrified of the hotel mascot Dan Dream! The entertainment started quite late about 9.30 in the evening we saw a show with owls and a magic show there was something every night though. As animal lovers one thing we loved about this hotel was that they provide food and fresh water for the cats! Also on my first day I lost my mobile phone, staff in the restaurant phoned it for me and it was eventually found! So thank you to the person who handed it in! Thank you also to the nice Irish couple with the gorgeous daughters who gave us nappies for our daughter for the flight home! It's probably worth the extra money to keep your room if you have a late flight, unfortunately someone was checking into ours so we were unable to keep it. You can use the all inclusive facilities after you check out though. We used a courtesy room to shower and change but it was a mess when we arrived and there were no towels except for used ones on the floor. I reported this to reception and they were sending someone to sort it out, so hopefully the people after us had a better experience! A big Thank you to all the lovely friendly staff. A week here isn't long enough, we were just finding our way around when it was time to leave! We will be returning to this hotel for longer later in the year.

My husband and I have very much enjoyed a further holiday here, having visited many times before. The staff are brilliant. Very friendly, but remaining professional. It is so nice to return to a hotel where you are remembered and greeted in such a warm way. There was also a lovely bottle of bubbly waiting for us in our room when we arrived. Our check in was welcoming, quick and a lovely cold drink was supplied. Thank you Eileen. The facilities here are very good indeed. As we do not have children with us we appreciate the adult only pool. The facilities are very good for children also. Eg swimming pool with slides, and lots of entertainment. There are several bars, restaurants and quiet places to sit throughout the resort. There is plenty of food choice in the buffet restaurant. We like to go to the Chinese and Indian too for a change. There is also an adult only restaurant which offers a romantic atmosphere. We have stayed at many hotels over the years, but this one ticks all the boxes for us. From David the director, and all the staff team, we and all the guests are made to feel special. We enjoy staying here very much, and will be returning in the autumn. Janet and Alan
Cheap Playa Blanca holidays are more or less a fixture for tourists the whole year round, thanks in no small part to the consistently warm Lanzarote temperatures - consistently hot, that is! Hot it may be, averaging around 18° Celsius in December and 26° Celsius by the summer, but sultry breezes, courtesy of the trade winds, mean you’re never flustered. Having said that, ensure you have your sun cream on at all times to protect you from the sun's rays.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
