Stayed as a couple for a week in mid March as all inclusive guests with a sea view room. Had read a lot of the reviews and wasn't 100% sure what to expect. We had a great week and despite the sheer scale of the hotel we always felt we received personal service. The food and drink experience was great and we ate in the Buffett restaurant, Italian and the Asian restaurants and were never disappointed. The rooms are of a great size and it was the first time we had a walk in changing room in our hotel room. The wifi was quick and free throughout the hotel. There are adequate bar facilities and we particularly liked the quality Sports Bar. There was nightly entertainment and a good variety and quality. The complex has a small 5D cinema experience, a spa and gym area and children only areas which were of fantastic Disney like quality. There is also adult only zones and pool area which is good and a host of Bali beds for guest use. The hotel is in a quiet residential area on the coastline just outside Playa Blanca and there is a nice promenade walk/cycle path to the Marina and onto the main beaches.. There is an under developed small beach at the front of the hotel which is largely unusable. The hotel has multiple buildings spread across a large site, they are mostly of low rise variety but very attractively laid out in a Moorish fashion. I would recommend the hotel to others, having said that I also noted it was not overall of 5 star quality but has some 5 star touches. The things that let the hotel down a bit were : we were left to wait for quite a while before the porter took us to our room, and whilst we got a cold drink as we waited they had clearly forgotten us. The porter then tied to call the lift o take us upstairs but it was out of order, he then took us up a service lift which had dirty laundry etc lying around outside it. The rooms which were of good quality overall but the fold down settee, small seat, and verandah seats were tatty and need of renewal. The toilet fittings ie toilet roll holders etc were both loose and broken - small petty points you might think, but did take the shine off our arrival slightly. There were lots of plus points though, some I mentioned already but would also include nice dressing gowns and slippers, fold down service at night with chocolates left each night on the beds and a nice surprise of champagne, flowers and chocolates to celebrate my birthday from the hotel. A nice local trip is a visit to the national park which is adjacent to the hotel on the coast. Access is by a dirt track which can be walked, cycled or driven and there is a toll of 3 Euros to get there- we drove and it's easily a couple of miles. Don't be put off by the track as the destination is worth the effort. It is stunning with massive rock features and small sandy accessible coves. There is also a couple of small bars on the rock where you can enjoy a drink as you take in the beautiful scenery Overall, we would highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 1 week from 15/3/2015 to 22/3/2015. The check in was busy when we arrived however we were seen within less than 10 minutes and with the offer of a welcome drink of sparkling wine while doing the paperwork was a nice touch. The complex is large with a lot of steps and ramps to go up and down as this hotel has been build on a cliff. The whole complex is just lovely, although we did not go with children the hotel caters so well for them and the kids looked like they were all having a ball, there were not many children when we stayed it was mostly pre school children. With the concierge taking our luggage to our room (depending on where this is in the complex) we got a buggy ride which was excellent. These guys do an amazing job and are always happy to help and if they see you walking down to reception/ Dining Room / Bars they will stop and offer you a lift which is nice. The rooms are amazing, they are large and well planned out with the separate shower room to the toilet which also had a separate bath, our room also had sliding doors to shut off the lounge area with sofa and tv from the bedroom if you wanted to. The maid service was excellent, our room was cleaned daily and we had fresh towels and toiletries replenished, you also get bath robes and slippers. the hotel also offers a turn down service at night and you get your little chocolates on your pillow. (Nice) ! There are quite a few pool areas dotted around the complex, the adult only was lovely and the pools are heated, the Jacuzzi was fab. Staff in all the bars are friendly and happy to serve with nothing being a problem to them. The hotel offers an upgrade to Premium All Inclusive, we didn't take this up this time around but I think we would in our next stay. If you upgrade you get a Bali Bed allocated to you throughout your stay, better dressing gowns, toiletries, other national brand drinks, 1/2 massage in the spa along with daily use, you would have to check online or with hotel in case I have forgotten anything re upgrade. Although our room was lovely on our next stay we would definitely go for the Junior Suite with a sea view as I think that would just add to the experience of this hotel. There are 4 restaurants, Chinese, Italian, Main Restaurant and you have the ala carte silver service restaurant over looking the sea (this is chargeable) . The food is amazing and loads of it, we ate breakfast in the Italian restaurant in the mornings as it was less busy than the main one. This hotel is a little out of Playa Blanca but with a short taxi ride @ £5 euro it wont break the bank to go into the town one or two nights of your stay. We cant think of why any one would complain about this hotel at all, there is literally nothing to complain about as we feel the management have got it so right. So if you are thinking of booking this hotel, I wouldn't hesitate, I would definitely click on that BOOK NOW button and if you need company throughout your stay I would be more than happy to join you ( Please) !!!! Thanks to all the staff , we had a lovely holiday.

We travelled back for the second year in a row and I have to say fantastic!!!! Food was great, room was fantastic with sea views and the staff where amazing, on arrival we received a welcome gift for returning which I thought was a nice touch, the facilities have changed with a new gym, adult pool area and a great kids club. Overall the service, facilities and our stay was just fab!!! I would like to thank all the staff for a great stay.
Cheap Playa Blanca holidays are more or less a fixture for tourists the whole year round, thanks in no small part to the consistently warm Lanzarote temperatures - consistently hot, that is! Hot it may be, averaging around 18° Celsius in December and 26° Celsius by the summer, but sultry breezes, courtesy of the trade winds, mean you’re never flustered. Having said that, ensure you have your sun cream on at all times to protect you from the sun's rays.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
