My travel agent chose the hotel for my friend and I. Our criteria was somewhere hot, somewhere not too expensive but pleasant in a town with a short transfer time, and she unearthed a gem. I loved the hotel and was made to feel welcome from the moment I entered. The Animation team were great and got everyone involved. They never seemed to stop and should be applauded as they had boundless energy Vanessa in the poolside bar needs a special mention as she took it on herself to teach me some Spanish as well as keeping us supplied with lots of refreshments. The room was very clean and fresh and quiet (when the entertainments finished at night). If we had one criticism we would of like a mossie net over the bedroom window as it was too warm to sleep with it closed but my friend and I got bitten by the mossies! We over looked the passage between the San Jorge and Antigua but had a sea view! If I had one gripe/ We went all inclusive and by the end of the week I was fed up of the food. It was perfectly edible just very samey. Would love there to have been more Spanish food. Our favourite meal was the night they did all the seafood! There is a small supermarket on site. Go to the Dog and Duck for cheap drinks and Free Wifi! There are bikes on site to hire if you want to get away. We cycled up towards Rosario one day and came across an abandoned village. Which was bizzarley interesting. If you want a quieter trip go in the St Jorge side away from the evening entertianments I will be back!

My wife and I have just returned from a weeks stay in a 1 bed apartment within this complex. The view from our balcony was terrible to the left a busy street to front 5 or 6 empty shops to the right the most depressing wasteland. The complex itself was very pleasing with ample sun beds great pools. The sea in front of the complex was rocky and swimming not allowed ,the only beach was a15 minute walk away. The night entertainment was poor and there was not a quiet bar area to get away from it. Now to our biggest complaint, the hot buffet was never more than warm although there was plenty of choice, we tried changing the time we ate to see if there was any difference but no there was not. There seemed to be a hot plate system to keep food hot but it was not working. Just a point regarding the area there was a constant wind blowing which stirred up the dust this got into everything and also stopped us using the balcony or leaving the balcony doors open

Just returned from a weeks holiday holiday. Fantastic! Hotel is spotlessly clean....staff extremely friendly. Pools are clean. Restaurant food is amazing, hot and choice is overwhelming. My 8 year old is a fussy eater and she ate very well. Drinks are local but most AI places are. Poolside snack bar serve burgers and chips, omelettes etc whisk the restaurant is closed. Verso who works in the snack bar makes the most awesome Sangria - you must try this..... Room is very comfortable and towels changed regularly. Hairdryer and kettles fridges available even in AI. Wifi is chargeable but if you visit the onsite English pub you can pick up free wifi in there....this pub is like home from home....my kids especially loved the sweet corner.... All traditional English sweets choices and crisps! Could not find fault with the hotel at all..... Visit to the chipmunks on the cliffs is a must as is the sealions in the harbour! Would definitely recommend and hope to return again one day!
Remember that sunscreen on holidays in Caleta de Fuste as Fuerteventura enjoys wonderfully hot weather in the summer, peaking at 30° Celsius in July and August. Due to its location, Caleta de Fuste receives a north-easterly wind that will be welcome if you’re not an avid sun fan! If you feel like heading on holiday to Caleta de Fuste outside of the summer, then the autumn months also enjoy good weather. February enjoys temperatures of around 23° Celsius, so even then you’ll still go home with a good tan!
