Just back from a week at the San Jorge end of the hotel and although initially a bit disappointed, we found it adequate and comfortable. We had a 1 bedroom apartment overlooking the sea on the first floor and looking through the closed patio doors was like being on a cruise ship, we were so close to the sea. We managed to pick one of the worst weeks for weather in 26 years according to our waiter Galileo. Was blowing a freezing wind most of the time although still got a tan. All inclusive - food was good and plentiful with good choices for most. Waiting staff we had were great and very friendly. Lovely comfy beds and although small still managed a bath with red hot water everyday. Bath being small not me. None of our party, 3 rooms, had a bath mat and had to use a hand towel for safety getting out of bath. We did get one on the last but one day. Our maid wasn't up to the job!! On the whole though the hotel was good, clean and staff helpful and barring the weather, had an enjoyable week.

Just got back from a weeks stay . Holiday was ok but not great but that is probably more based on the weather, think we picked the worse week to go. The wind was ridiculous , to the point that you couldn't really do anything. Even the locals were saying they had never known it like this . Anyway back to hotel, staff were more than friendly, helpful and polite and made an effort with our nearly 2 year old, always trying to get a smile out of her. Rooms had just been updated so were nice, beds very comfortable, not the rock hard beds were use to. The only thing I found crazy was they had no baby changing facilities at all , we actually went and asked reception as couldn't believe it. So ended up changing her on pool table in the evenings. We wouldn't go back but that is not the hotels fault. We took a trip down to Costa calma which is the South of the island and we loved it there, less windy and seemed to be more people and things to do .

Hotel is a short distance from bars, restaurants, beach and market place. It over looks rocky beach which is not navigable. Amazing views of the sea, if given sea view apartment. We booked through Thomas Cook Holidays, through Co-Op travels. Very friendly, lively staff, clean hotel, great food. There is a Thomas cook rep based there and she was very helpful. The restaurant manager Sergio is brilliant, looked after us very much, my partner is vegetarian and he ensured that she was well looked after as the main meals are ideal for meat eaters. There are lot of fish dishes and salads. Stayed there for a week, after a while the evening meal got a bit repetitive. The evening entertainment is good but could be better with more variety. Kids club on site and kids enjoyed very much. Overall a 3 star hotel, but 4 star service. will go back if opportunity persists,

Before visiting this hotel most of the reviews were positive so we where looking forward to the the trip. We arriving at around 6pm and there were a lot of people checking in but only one staff member at reception who was dealing with this and queries at the same time meaning it took a while to check in. We were given room 2105 which was in the Antigua part of the hotel. The room was large with a separate bedroom and a single bed in the living room. Despite being all inclusive we still had a full kitchen. Large bathroom with a VERY powerful shower and never any issues with hot water. The ONLY disappointing part was the balcony which at this time of year meant no sun on it all day. If you're travelling in winter I would recommend a sea view room as they will get sun for all or at least part of the day. The buffet restaurant was absolutely fine with a large selection of food at all meals (yes its get repetitive but only if you eat everything at each meal!!). Always something for kids too. I never had a bad meal here. The staff where very attentive in bringing drinks and clearing tables and always done with a smile. For a 3 star hotel the service was great. The bar at night was the only indoor area for sitting and having a drink and this is where the entertainment took place too. The kids entertainment was the normal stuff you get everywhere but the animation team where better than most always keeping the children involved (and parents at times). The evening entertainment ranged from very good to average. The bar service was always first class and managed well. Measures were Large and it never took long to get served. There were two pools at the hotel and the main one used was at the rear next to the promenade which was a sun trap. The other was in the centre of the San Jorge part of the hotel but this was mostly shaded at this time of year. Both pools where very cold and only the bravest went in. This is probably the only real downside to this hotel, the lack of a heated pool. All in all we had an enjoyable week at this hotel and though there were a few restaurants in the centre we were never tempted away from the all inclusive we had paid for. The staff were always polite and helpful . The weather was a bit hit and miss but still came home with a tan. One last note is make sure you go and feed the chipmunks nearby if you have kids, they will sit on your knee and gently take food from you.
Remember that sunscreen on holidays in Caleta de Fuste as Fuerteventura enjoys wonderfully hot weather in the summer, peaking at 30° Celsius in July and August. Due to its location, Caleta de Fuste receives a north-easterly wind that will be welcome if you’re not an avid sun fan! If you feel like heading on holiday to Caleta de Fuste outside of the summer, then the autumn months also enjoy good weather. February enjoys temperatures of around 23° Celsius, so even then you’ll still go home with a good tan!
