we stayed here for 4 days over the easter, the weather was not too good but that did not spoil things. The rooms very spacious and had everything you needed, rooms did get a little cold at night and the air-con/heating only worked by a sensor which half the time was useless. The beds were nice and comfy. Use the car park to come and go as you cut out the steep hill altogether. We were half board the breakfast was disgusting its the first time I have been to a hotel that did not have any type of cereal, we only ate here once. The evening meal was either 2 type of meat or 1 fish dish which were ok. We stayed in room 303 right off and above the bar which could be very noisy especially the diva lady who could not sing, she was awful. My only gripe about this hotel was the WI-FI we paid 15 euro for 3 days, when we tried to connect it would only allow 1 device to connect, DAYLIGHT ROBBERY it does not state this anywhere on any sign or leaflet the only place this is shown is on the receipt after you have paid and in very small print, so be aware if you are a family of 4 or friends sharing an apartment only 1 of you can log in.

Hotel is across the road from the sea front, a decent walk from the Marina area. If you want a longer walk Torremolinos and Fuengirola are both within reach. There is also a bus route along the front which has buses every 20 minutes. The hotel apartments are spacious and clean, if a little tired. The room was quite cold at times and our heating didn't seem to work. Only itchy blankets for the bed and worse an unpleasant rubber mattress protector. Wifi was 25€ for the week and was quite slow at times. Only had food once: pizza on first night. Not nice. Cleaner came in everyday and did a good job. No oven or grill was a pain;only two ring hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. Take your own mug unless you want to drink from thimble size cups. Fridge and tv were fine. Staff were professional but not particularly friendly. If you just want a decent, independent base to explore from its perfect.

We're here at the moment and having a good time despite the weather not being a warm as we'd hoped. The locals say that it's way colder than normal for this time of year so seems that we've been a bit unlucky. After reading some of the more recent reviews we were a little apprehensive about what we would find on arrival. The staff on the reception desk were really helpful though and our room was very clean an well presented. Yes, you could say the apartment was a little dated but personally I'd say it was traditionally Spanish. The studio apartment has one bedroom with twin beds, a large bathroom and a lounge diner with kitchen area perfect for making snack lunches and tea/coffee. The beds were clean and are comfortable although the sofa bed used by my wife and myself was a bit soft and hammock like with a dip in the middle. The staff we have seen have all been very friendly, always have a smile and very welcoming during our stay. The restaurant has been great with a good selection of food at the buffet for breakfast and evening meal. Our son has a limited diet but he's been quite happy having cereal and a bacon butty for breakfast and for his evening meal chips, bread rolls and desserts. Our daughter on the other hand has been quite adventurous and found plenty to eat. We've both enjoyed all the food and it has always been warm with staff constantly bringing out fresh dishes. The apartments are about a 10 -15 walk from the main part of Benalmadena but it's nice to walk off that breakfast or work up an appetite for you evening meal :) We are here the week before half term so it is relatively quiet but there have been quite a few people around in the restaurant. A Burger King and supermarket 2 mins walk away that are perfect for buying snacks and food for lunch. There is a short steep hill up to the apartments as some of the reviews have mentioned but on our first day after struggling up the hill the lady on reception told us to come through the gate next to the car park entrance and get the lift to save walking up the road to the main entrance. We have used it ever since. Had a few trips out and some more planned for our last few days. All in all I'm sure we'll be sad to go home as we always are after a good holiday but would stay here again.

We have recently returned after our 3rd stay at this hotel and this time found out it had changed hands. Already there were signs of cost cuts in that the breakfast choice was very depleted. Although we had paid for B & B we started to go out to a nearby restaurant for breakfast as we found the choice very limited and not very hot. Also worth a mention is the wifi, this is very expensive given that the majority of hotels and restaurants offer this service free. Because of changes to the TV satellite there is now nothing showing in English that is worth watching. TV can still be streamed but the hotel has not equipped themselves with this and therefore we had to watch on our tablet which again was expensive because of the wifi charges. Whilst we like peace and quiet a little entertainment if only once a week would be welcome but there is nothing. The accommodation is quite nice and very clean with good room service but that is all I can say and would not recommend if you like to stay around the hotel.
Year round, Benalmadena enjoys a mild, humid climate with hot, dry summers that typically range from 26 to 32° Celsius from May until August. The water temperature rarely drops below the low twenties in the summer, making it the ideal climate to catch a few rays or enjoy the clarity of the warm, blue waters off the coast.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
