This is a nice hotel & reasonably priced. We were impressed by the size of the room & it was clean, although the towels smelt bad, like the laundry was also in the staff smoking room. The hotel is up a steep hill & far away from the main town. The money we saved on booking this hotel was spent getting to & from the town in taxis. If I'd realised this before, I'd have chosen to pay more to stay near the centre.

With the holidays approaching thought I would share our experience my mum sister and myself spent 1 week holiday in this hotel our experience was not the best my mum being 76 and liked to sit out on balcony we requested a balcony on booking knowing this would be guaranteed as all with balconies we arrived in afternoon having to walk up a very steep hill (mum) bus drops u off at bottom this wasn't the best but we put it behind us into the hotel we went checked in no problem quite quickly maybe because we were given our room number and that was it no information at all when we finally found our room how disappointing 2 single beds fine a sofa bed which was the smallest I have ever seen with the thinnest of mattresses and very worn this we thought ok we will try see how it goes we then had to move sofa to open patio doors opened the curtains and our jaws just dropped we were in what I would call the attic a 7ft wall surrounded us 1 chair and a dryer this was awful our view was the sky that eve I went down to reception and explained the circumstances (mum) only to get a cold reply No rooms full so we just got on with it we then went for our eve meal not to bad the first night but from then on the same thing so decided to eat out we then tried the eve entertainment we were the only ones there I wonder why!!! We found this hotel to have no atmosphere the staff didn't seem to want to be there and as for the holiday clients a lot of them felt the same as we did Benalmadena is a lovely place beaches very nice lots of nice restaurants etc in the near vicinity but I would pass on this hotel

we stayed here for 4 days over the easter, the weather was not too good but that did not spoil things. The rooms very spacious and had everything you needed, rooms did get a little cold at night and the air-con/heating only worked by a sensor which half the time was useless. The beds were nice and comfy. Use the car park to come and go as you cut out the steep hill altogether. We were half board the breakfast was disgusting its the first time I have been to a hotel that did not have any type of cereal, we only ate here once. The evening meal was either 2 type of meat or 1 fish dish which were ok. We stayed in room 303 right off and above the bar which could be very noisy especially the diva lady who could not sing, she was awful. My only gripe about this hotel was the WI-FI we paid 15 euro for 3 days, when we tried to connect it would only allow 1 device to connect, DAYLIGHT ROBBERY it does not state this anywhere on any sign or leaflet the only place this is shown is on the receipt after you have paid and in very small print, so be aware if you are a family of 4 or friends sharing an apartment only 1 of you can log in.

Hotel is across the road from the sea front, a decent walk from the Marina area. If you want a longer walk Torremolinos and Fuengirola are both within reach. There is also a bus route along the front which has buses every 20 minutes. The hotel apartments are spacious and clean, if a little tired. The room was quite cold at times and our heating didn't seem to work. Only itchy blankets for the bed and worse an unpleasant rubber mattress protector. Wifi was 25€ for the week and was quite slow at times. Only had food once: pizza on first night. Not nice. Cleaner came in everyday and did a good job. No oven or grill was a pain;only two ring hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. Take your own mug unless you want to drink from thimble size cups. Fridge and tv were fine. Staff were professional but not particularly friendly. If you just want a decent, independent base to explore from its perfect.
Year round, Benalmadena enjoys a mild, humid climate with hot, dry summers that typically range from 26 to 32° Celsius from May until August. The water temperature rarely drops below the low twenties in the summer, making it the ideal climate to catch a few rays or enjoy the clarity of the warm, blue waters off the coast.
As UK, Courses or boosters sometimes advised: hepatitis A (not normally for package tourists).
