just back from 10 nights at this hotel and it was ok, nothing special. rooms ok, had air conditioning which was fine. Two double beds in the room which meant the room was a wee bit cramped. Staff friendly enough. Jorge and DeeDee were fab trying to keep the kids entertained but adult entertainment not so good. Food was terrible, very Spanish food, I actualy lost weight when I came home. pool was small and quite a lot of the day shaded by trees which is actualy ok if you have kids that want to swim without the sun beating down on them. location is fabulous. just 2 mins from the beach also main strip 5 mins away. Too long to walk to the theme park but just down the hill from the hotel there are buses every 10 mins that drop u right outside the themepark gate. if you go into one of the tourist palces that sell the trips you can pay for a bus pass for 15 euros which gets u 10 trips so worth the money. the last bus is 11pm and the park closes at 12am which has firworks at the end of the night, don't leave early to catch the bus as there are loads of wee open aired trains waiting for u when u leave the park at 12, always wee trains there. all in all we had a good holiday and the hotel was fair staff very nice if it had nice food it would made all the difference. sorry forgot to mention that the cleaning of the room is done every day but I was told that they changed the beds every day which is not true, they make up the beds every day but don't change them.
Literally just back from staying here for 10 nights. The hotel and pool were clean enough. Pool area not huge though, sometimes it was a struggle to get a lounger. The kids entertainer Didi was...
Arrived late on a sunday night desperate to get into a room after a day of travelling. We were sent to a room on the 5th floor using a very very very hot slow lift, opened the door of the room and there were people laying on the bed. Apologised to them (although they seemed unphased like this had happened before) went back down in the awful lift with all our luggage and explained what had happened to reception. To her credit the receptionist looked horrified. She quickly programmed a new key to another room on the 5th floor. So off we went again with our luggage in the dreadful hot lift again. Opened the door to the room and went in, luckily no people this time but the room was filthy and had not been cleaned! By this time my fiance was irritated and hot as was i so i left him in the room and treked down in the lift again. Explained to the receptionist and she programmed a third key (3rd time lucky?) and went ahead of me to check the room before we went into it. Thank goodness that after 45 mins of room swapping we finally got a room that was clean and empty. It did us a favour really as it was on the 7th floor and the view was spectacular :) The recptionist sent a chocolate each and some fruit kebabs up to the room on 2 occasions to apologise for the issues. The food was average and although we were all inclusive we ate out a lot. The staff in the restaurant and the entertainment staff were great. The bar staff were a bit hit and miss. One girl was sweet, friendly and efficient but the barman often shunned my partner at the bar in favour of serving the ladies with a smile. The pool area was small and at busy times can be very full. Also hotel is situated at the top of a reasonably steep hill which is not fun when its hot and my partner got pickpocketed along the road of the hotel. But the beach close to the hotel is lovely and quiet if you can manage the stairs. Free wifi is rubbish and as electric is controlled by key phones etc wont charge while youre out. Hotel could do with a drinks and snack machine for times when you need something cold to drink or something to eat after the bar has shut. Lift is in major need of some air conditioning, took the stairs on a few occasions as couldnt face stepping into the oven!
